Real Housewives of New Jersey: Tango Chicago Parody by Tessa Netting

Whenever I need a good laugh I find one of Chiara’s videos and watch it. Today I am returning the favor and hope Chiara enjoys mine as much as I enjoy hers. I found this video of Tessa Netting playing each of the New Jersey Housewives. Tessa Netting, a very talented actress who’s been on Broadway and TV is a riot, and the way she plays Teresa is dead on. If you love Chicago either on Broadway or the Oscar winning movie you’ll love this.

Mob Wives: Karen, Jennifer Murder Suspect

Karen Gravano, Manuel "Manny" Pinero, Jenn Graziano

Last week Karen tweeted a picture of herself with Jennifer Graziano hanging out at Mr. Chow on September 21st. Pictured in between them is Manuel "Manny" Pinero, who turned himself into authorities yesterday for the Monday night fatal stabbing of Christopher Adames. The incident took place outside the Juliet Supper Club, in Chelsea. According to police, both men were having an argument about a woman when the stabbing occurred. Manny is allegedly the prime suspect in the case. Both Karen and Jennifer made it very clear that they do not know "Manny" personally, they are not friends, they were simply asked to pose for a picture with him and tweet it.

I know, from personal experience, that the stars of Mob Wives are very accommodating to fans who want pictures taken with them. Unfortunately, that night, they posed with the wrong person and now have to answer questions because the picture they tweeted is being somewhat misrepresented in the media. The price of fame...lack of privacy and the media always looking for a scandal.

Real Housewives Of New Jersey: Gia's Song

Thanks To Harley, a writer at our blog, I have learned a few things about The Real Housewives of New Jersey and the Guidice family. The Guidice family sounds very dysfunctionsal to say the least. So when I came across this video about a song that Gia Guidice wrote and sang, I was curious to watch it. It's heartbreaking. Anyone who has an unstable home life where parents or relatives argue all the time, should watch this video and see what this does to an innocent child. Let alone the fact that Gia's problems are compounded because the family situation is made public and everyone she meets and talks to at school may be well aware of her home life.

Gia is only 9 or 10 years old. She shouldn't have to go to school worrying all the time. She just wants them to stop fighting and love one another. Is that too much to ask? Teresa and her brother Joe's feud have deeply affected Gia to the point she has written this song and sings it, through flowing tears, hoping it will have an impact on them. Since when is it the child's responsibility to teach the adults how to behave?

Mob Wives: Mob Wives Cook With Rachael Ray

The Mob Wives are all busy working on season two and I was worried they might not have time to make a big Thanksgiving dinner for their families this year. Then, my mind immediately jumped to Rachael Ray and her 30 minute meals and how great would it be if she had the mob wives cook with her? We know the expression “too many cooks spoil the broth,” but can they spoil Rachael’s turkey cutlets and stuffing? Let’s see where my mind takes me.

Scene: Rachael Ray’s set on The FoodNetwork. Renee, Karen, Carla, and Drita wearing their aprons and off we go.

Rachael: Today we are going to make Thanksgiving dinner in 30 minutes! We invited some very busy women to join me today, you may know them from the VH1 hit show Mob Wives. Please welcome Renee, Karen, Carla and Drita to the show! Ok ladies are you ready to start cooking?

Drita: I’m ready. Are we gonna beat some eggs? I’ll have to take my shoes off.

Rachael: (laughs) No eggs today, Drita. We are going to start by putting some cut up celery in a pan and sauté it. I like the crunch of the fresh veggies, it’s delish and healthy!

Carla: I do crunches at the gym every morning, those are healthy too.

Rachael: (looking a little perplexed) Next we are going to add some fresh thyme. Can you chop that up Karen?

Karen: (chopping away and laughing) What’s the “thyme line” for this recipe anyway? You have to keep the “thyme line” straight, that’s very important.

Drita: WTF! There she goes about the timeline again! (wiggles out of shoes).

Rachael: The whole meal should take 30 minutes, time wise. Karen, you can add the fresh thyme to the pan now. Oh that’s so fragrant! Let’s pop a bay leaf in there.

Carla: One bay leaf! It’s on and poppin’!

Rachael: Renee, I heard you are working on some cookbooks? Can you tell us about that while you chop up a medium size onion to go in with the celery?

Renee: (starts chopping onion) Rachael that’s true, I am working on a collection family of recipes from the Graziano kitchen. They are delicious! Until now they have been protected by our code silence. But soon I am going to share them with the world.

Rachael: Great job with that onion, Renee, you can add it to the celery. Oh it’s starting to really smell like Thanksgiving in here! A little bay in the pot and some thyme…

Drita: Can we please stop talking about the timeline already! It’s over!

Rachael: Lots of nice fresh herbs, got all my veggies goin‘…Carla, now it’s time for the 99% fat free, all white meat turkey cutlets. Can you open the package and let’s season them ok?

Carla: Oh you di-ent season them yet? Here you go, what goes on them?

Rachael: This is how you really get Thanksgiving done in 30 minutes! Fantastic! Ok Carla, first you put a little oil olive on the bottom of the pan and get the heat goin‘. Next you sprinkle a little poultry seasoning on all four cutlets which is just ground sage and thyme…

Drita: If she says time once more, I’m gonna lose it!

Carla: What else goes on them? I never use this on my cutlets.

Rachael: Just add a little ground pepper and salt, and when you are done seasoning, you use your tongs to place the seasoned side down in the pan.

Carla: Gotcha! Are we just makin’ these four little cutlets?

Renee: WTF are you talking’ about Carla, you don’t even eat anything, but salad. Let the girl cook, maybe you’ll learn something. Go ahead Rachael.

Rachael: Ok Renee, would you like to season the other side now?

Renee: Sure. You know I make the best chicken cutlets. They are my son, AJ’s favorite meal. Maybe I can share that recipe with you sometime?

Rachael: (To herself, “great, that’s what I need another cutlet recipe“) It’s smelling so yummy in here! So we got our turkey breast workin’ and we got our stuffing all ready to go here and now it’s time to drop in the cranberry muffins.

Karen: Cranberry Muffins??? I like a good loaf of bread in my stuffing!

Rachael: This recipe calls for cranberry muffins, do you have a cook book coming out Karen? If not, pay attention. Drita can you help me break up the muffins into the pan?

Drita: Sure, I can break up lots of things. Let’s go.

Rachael: Now these are just store bought cranberry/orange muffins. What could be easier than this, right? Now Renee will add a little bit of stock over the muffins mixture. To moisten it.

Renee: We are adding stock from a can? I make chicken soup all the time from scratch. That’s where the stock should come from. Who is going to eat this with store bought muffins and canned stock? No shortcuts in my books!

Rachael: It’s a 30 minute meal, so we have to take shortcuts. Drita can you take the turkey out of the pan, it has great color.

Drita: Yeah, it reminds me of me after I get my spray tan! (laughing).

Rachael: Now with the stuffing, I like to use an ice cream scoop so everyone gets the same amount. Karen would you like to scoop the stuffing and placed them in this platter?

Karen: Ok. There you go, four scoops of stuffing, and no loaf of bread.

Rachael: Great job Karen! Now Renee can you place a cutlet over each scoop of stuffing?

Renee: On top of it? Ok. I can just picture serving this to my father. He would probably refuse to eat it and tell me to flush it down the toilet.

Rachael: All righty then. Now, I’m going to take my quick made pan gravy that I made from thickening up some store bought stock and we are going to pour a little over each cutlet. Doesn’t that look awesome? (all the mob wives are making disgusted faces off to the side). Let’s all try a bite!

Renee: Sorry Rachael, I have to use the ladies room.

Carla: I di-ent know we were supposed to eat it, I already had lunch.

Drita: Sure I’ll try it, maybe I could bring some home, I have a mob there that’s dying to have some (to self: “damn raccoons“).

Rachael: Thank you for joining me ladies!

Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills: Lisa Vanderpump in 80's Video!

The elegant, classy and graceful housewife from Beverly Hills was "famous" many years ago. Imagine my surprise to find she was in a 1980's music videos? Yes indeed! She was in ABC's 1982 video of Poison Arrow. If you watch the video, Ms. Vanderpump appears in the second half as pictured above. I'm willing to bet none of the other housewives have a similar claim to fame in their past. One thing is certain, she was always very beautiful.

Real Housewives Of NY: Alex and Simon Speak Up!

I don’t think we have heard the last word on the firings of The Real Housewives Of New York, but I’ll write one more blog about it because Alex had a lot to say about it. She and her husband, Simon, basically blame Jill Zarin for their being let go from the show. Ramona had some unkind words for Jill too, but she was one of the lucky three remaining on the show.

So Good Morning America wanted to know what Alex and Simon had to say and here is what they shared. They say they were upset by Bravo’s decision to let them go. But, Alex adds, the show has gotten more and more toxic. While people have accused Alex of creating “drama” on the show, she counters with it’s not that she is creating drama as much as “calling people out for the bad behavior on the show and she got louder and louder about that.” They discuss the negativity directed at Alex this season. One example is the way Luann looked down on Alex and made rude comments because she feels superior to Alex. And then there was Kelly, who was also much more antagonistic towards Alex all season.

Then they bring up Jill Zarin who Simon calls “flawed woman extraordinaire.” Everyone has plenty to say about Jill. He compares her behavior with that of junior high school students. He says Jill is a manipulator and has been trying to get them off the show for a number of years and she succeeded. Jill’s reply is that the couple is jealous and she “just feels pity for them” because they are using her to get the attention of the press.

The couple also discusses how being on reality television can be detrimental to a relationship and marriage when you are always under the scrutiny of the public and people are writing about you and speculating about your life. Simon says they have been able to withstand all of this because they have a very strong and loving bond and nothing is going break it. Then he gets very emotional for a moment as he talks about his feelings for Alex. They do seems closer than ever, and they may be the exception to most reality cast members. The stand to lose $275,000 for not being on the show next season, but they are starting their own business called ALUXE Home, specializing in bed and bath products.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills: Lisa Vanderpumps New Home

Lisa Vanderpump and her husband, Ken Todd, have purchased a $10.2 million estate in Beverly Hills. Lisa’s new home is 8,801 sq. ft., has 5-bedrooms, 8-baths and boasts a two story library, a luxurious spa-like master suite, a chef’s kitchen, and a media room. It also features an outdoor living area including, water elements, large swimmers pool & exterior guest house.

Lisa and Ken have decided to downsize, selling their 17,000 sq. home for $19 million, a healthy profit for the home they purchased back in 2004 for $14 million. Lisa explained recently that "it’s just Ken and me and it’s really too big for two people". Honestly I don't know how they will squeeze into such close quarters. I kid you, I couldn't resist being a smart ass after being away for a few weeks. Watch Bravo’s The Real Housewives of New Jersey Sunday at 10/9c

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills: Lisa Vanderpump, One Classy Broad

"Life in Beverly Hills is a game, and I make the rules."

Lisa Vanderpump is an actress, designer, and business women who currently owns 2 restaurants, Villa Blanca a celebrity hangout, which has been described as "the sexiest restaurant" in Beverly Hills and Sur in West Hollywood, which she just recently redesigned.

Design is her passion, but she also writes a page each month for Beverly Hills Lifestyle magazine and will be launching her first book in October 2011 entitled, Simply Divine, about simple, but gorgeous entertaining. In addition, she also has her own skin care line, "Epione."

Lisa Vanderpump was born and raised in London. Her father was an advertising executive from Kent. Her family has lived in in England for 6 generations and is of Dutch decent. She explains on her website “I had an unusual childhood attending a drama school full time from the age of nine! I loved acting in many children’s films and television series when I was growing up”.

Lisa met Ken Todd in 1982 when she was 21 and he was 37 at Corks bar; a nightclub he owned in Kensington. Ken has said, "She was like a breath of fresh air coming into my life," of their chance meeting. The feeling was mutual, and they married six weeks later. Ken Todd is a self-made millionaire, who despite his celebrity friends (he is "good mates" with Bill Wyman and was best man at Wyman's wedding to Suzanne Accosta), tends to stay low key. Together Lisa and Ken have 2 children; Pandora, 24 and Max, 19.

The jet set couple moved to Beverly Hills 6 years ago from the South of France but is not new to Beverly Hills. Lisa and Ken spent time in LA in the '80s and '90s when Lisa landed roles in Silk Stalking’s and Baywatch Nights. Lisa joined The Real Houswives of Beverly Hills
in 2010 and has become a favorite of many, myself included. Besides her business ventures Lisa supports various charities. She spends her free time spoiling her favorite pup, Giggy, a Pomeranian with his own Facebook page.

I've watch Real Housewives since 2006 and there is just something about Lisa that sets her apart from the others. Lisa Vanderpump has a classic elegance that very few have today and it's even harder to define but you know it when you see it. Whether it's her wit and sense of humor, her demeanor, or her the subtle way she carries herself. Lisa is the true definention of a classy women and I admire that.

Real Housewives Of NY: Jill Zarin On Joy Behar

Jill has plenty more to say about her being let go from Real Housewives Of New York on Joy Behar"s show. She said she was told about the firing over the phone and that she would not be coming back next season. No reason was given other than they were looking to make a change. However, when Joy read Ramona's comments regarding Jill to her, Jill had a very negative reaction. Ramona's comments included that she felt Jill became "a negative force in her life, cancerous." Jill was highly offended and said that it was a horrible thing for her to say, especially when she was just fired. Joy agrees. It was like Ramona "put the last nail in the coffin" of Jill's being fired. Jill thinks she should have been graceful when speaking about their relationship on the show, and said that they had had their ups and downs and wish her the best. They also discuss Taylor Armstrong and her selling pictures to ET for $125,000. An interesting video clip! Have a look.

Mob Wives: Karen Gravano's Hot NEW Look!

Karen is looking good and I know Underboss is going to sit up and take notice of this blog! I don't know what event she was getting ready for or where she was going, but there was a transformation going on! After her hair, there was a followup makeup session and WOW!

I love the new look! It's just the right amount of makeup, not overkill. Very feminine looking! Now get a look at the finished product! Is this Karen's "new" look for season two? If so, it's on and poppin'!

A very beautiful and sexy Karen Gravano is heading to some undisclosed location, looking HOT! What do you say Underboss? Got your attention??? And finally, here is Karen's new Twitter icon and she is looking great!

Real Housewives Of NY: Jill Zarin Has Her Say!

Jill Zarin has plenty to say about firing

Jill Zarin, “the tart tongued drama queen“, was on Good Morning America today and she had a lot to say about the “firing.” Jill was surprisingly calm and matter of fact about the situation. Jill says she and her cast mates were hurt and shocked by this decision, not to mention the hundreds of thousands of dollars they were going to lose by not being on the show. However, Jill says life goes on and thanks to the show she is making millions on other ventures.

About the phone call telling her she was fired, Jill said she was shocked and it didn’t feel good not to be asked back “to the party.” As to why they were let go, Jill said she really didn’t ask. She felt it didn’t matter they had already made their decision and it was just a few weeks before filming for season five was due to begin. Three other housewives were also let go in a huge overhaul of the show, Cindy, Alex, and Kelly.

Cindy said she believes they were fired because there was too much fighting going on. Jill says of course there was fighting going on, no question, but she feels the format of the show encourages fighting to create drama. It’s a toxic environment. Jill says it took her months to come down from it.

As to the suicide of Taylor’s husband, Jill says her heart broke for Taylor and her family. Her advice to Taylor would be not to talk to the press for six months to a year. Buckle down with her family and probably not go back on the show, BUT if she needs the money then she’s gotta do what she’s gotta do to take care of her family. Jill says the show hasn’t been good for Taylor and that she has done a lot of crying.

Meanwhile Jill intends to make the most of her 15 minutes of fame. The longer term benefits of being on these shows is the opportunity to start business and capitalize on branding. Jill has Squeeze couture and a jewelry line as well as other ventures in which she plans to do just that. The show was her platform or a free infomercial to her future business success.

Jill ends by thanking Bravo for the experience and all the doors it has opened for her and she wouldn’t trade it for anything.

I Married A Mobster: Page Six Misfires

Is that Dina Lohan posing for a photo next to Love Majewski's mother or am I seeing things?!
As you many of you know Chiara was The Mob Wives Blogspot representative at Love Hurt's premiere party. After a night of talking with Mob Wives and I Married A Mobster's cast Chiara was all mobbed out.

We read Page Six on occasion. And I enjoy Cindy Adam's take on things somedays. However, she got something way wrong in a recent article. Or should I say someone's camp wanted a certain spin portrayed. Either way I feel a responsibility to our readers to set the record straight. Love Majewski did not marry Chris Paciello.

Dina Lohan did not arrive late. She was 45 minutes early to I Married A Mobster's Love Hurts premiere party. Dina took plenty of pictures with photographers and anyone with a camera. V.I.P.s important to Love Majewski showed up. My sources shared it seemed as if Dina drunk more than 3 Champagne cocktails. They admit they weren't counting. And they don't think she was either. They added a certain platinum haired mother was smoking cigarettes in the Lair's powder room.

Dinah Lohan was allegedly overheard saying the following to Karen Gravano, "I'm not afraid of you I know Victoria Gotti."

Moving along sources allege she spoke to Love Majewski's mother Lorraine Arias-Believeau stating, "I know how embarrassing it can be; I have daughters."

To which Mrs. Arias-Believeau replied, "Who said I was embarrassed? You're someone's mother?" In fairness, I've shared the same thought in regards to Ms. Lohan. And I haven't even met her.

I was going to type that Karen Gravano is not her best friend. I'm Karen's bestie!!! She just doesn't know it. I caught myself and I thought, 'I'll ask Karen my damn self!'

Ring, ring, ring...

"Hello."

"Hey Karen this is Mob Mistress." She laughs. They all laugh when I call. "You can call me _______ that's my first name. I have a question for you. Are you best friends with Dina Lohan?"

"No. I just met her the night of Love's premiere party. She was very cordial with me. She mentioned her daughter watches Mob Wives. They commend me for coming forward and standing my ground."

I laugh. She laughs. I continue, "Well that's what I was going to write. But I thought I'd ask you just to make sure. When one assumes that can make an ass out of themselves." I think about mentioning that we are best friends that's how I know it was a lie. However, she's in the mist of finishing up MOBDAUGHTER. So I leave her be for now. Maybe I'll call Jennifer Graziano's assistant I haven't bugged him in quite a long time. I know he misses me.

We get it wrong too sometimes. But how we try not to.... CLICK HERE to read Cindy's Page Six take on things.

Real Housewives Of New York: Ramona Singer By Amy Phillips

Amy Phillips as Ramona Singer complete with Pinot Grigio!

Ever since Amy Phillips did Drita's phone call to Lee D'Avanzo, I have been patiently waiting and begging her to add the other mob wives to her videos. I must have watched her Drita clip at least 20 times and laughed till I cried each time. I was thrilled that she just sent me a brand new impersonation of Ramona Singer, of the Real Housewives of New York, talking about the recent cast cuts to the show. If you are a fan of the RHONY you are really going to appreciate this new video. Amy does such a good job on Ramona, I had to do a double take to make sure it wasn't Ramona.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills: Lisa Vanderpump Sur(e) Wants to Expand Empire!

Lisa & Ken Vanderpump with the glue that keeps them together Jiggy.
Lisa Vanderfabulous (actually Vanderpump), her Prince Charming husband Ken, the wild but adorable Jiggy and the buff business partner Giullermo check out the new vacant space next door to their West Hollywood restuarant Sur.

Yes, my description of Lisa and Ken is probably a little over the top. I can't help myself. I just loves me some Lisa. If I could find heaven on Earth … it would no doubt be in her shoe closet. <3 <3 <3 The Vanderpump are a Hollywood couple reminiscent of the eighties. The Carringtons of Dynasty or the Ewings of Dallas, good old fashioned rich people bedazzled out and ballin'! Couples with character, common sense (sometimes) and we can't forgot loads of dough. Don't forget to watch Bravo’s The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Monday’s 9/8c.

Angela Calvacante, Love Majewski and Cheryl Caruso

It was a big day yesterday in Little Italy, New York City They were celebrating the festival of San Gennaro, which is a big annual event and they had three "mob wives" from I Married A Mobster signing autographs and meeting fans. The picture above shows the three ladies from episodes of the show and they are holding a bottle of Ms. Caruso's Talero Tequila, which is 100% organic.

Looks like they were signing pictures!

Sitting in front of Mob Scene Gallery on Broome Street

Love and Cheryl in candid shot!

Had it been any other weekend I would have been out there to visit, sip wine and chat with the ladies, but sometimes life gets hectic and it's hard to squeeze everything you want to do in. I hope some of you got to go and, if so, please comment below and let us know about your experience.

Read about these three women and the others in the series using the search box on the lower right hand side of the blog.

I Married A Mobster: Recap of “Ebony & Ivory”

“Ebony and Ivory” is the story of Diondrea Hopkins Nicosia who was always attracted to bad boys and goes from mob mistress to mob wife.

Dion Hopkins grew up in Teaneck, New Jersey. She was a spoiled kid. Her father was a successful drug dealer, until he got hooked on his own product. When Dion is 3 years old, her father has already hit a point of crisis in his life. Dion goes on to say, that when she was in 5th grade, her father was found floating in the Hudson River. She never really knew him.

As a teenager she loved to do modeling and acting and in 1984 her friend describes her as a “diva.” Dion doesn’t date white guys and is attracted to bad boys, “hustlers and dealers.” She and her friends used to say that white guys smelled like “wet dogs.”

Dion gets a job at an Italian Restaurant where older, white men (wise guys) would give her $50 tips for doing nothing. She was the only one there who was black. Working there was like one big party. She becomes “one of the gang” and is teased about her love life and the fact that she has never been with a white man. One day in 1995, Dion says, a beautiful, suave man walks into the restaurant, Angelo Nicosia. Suddenly, her opinion on white guys, needs to be reevaluated. Angelo was in construction and Dion was very attracted to him. Angelo pulled out all the stops to win her over. She describes their love making as non-stop and passionate. “It was good.” But, things were too perfect. Intense passion becomes replaced by doubts as Dion learns that Angelo is keeping secrets. He is married.

One day Angelo’s wife come by and they are surprised to see her at the restaurant. Dion says she didn’t look like she belonged with Angelo, she had “guidette” hair. Then someone tells Dion that Angelo is a hit man for the Genovese crime family and all the while she thought he had a construction business. She says he used to have guns and weapons in his truck, but when she asked about them, he never gave her a straight answer. Angelo was very secretive about his mob connections, but he was very public about his relationship with Dion. He got her nice gifts, clothes, jewelry, and flowers all the time. For her 23rd birthday he bought her a Jaguar. Angel show off Dion to his mob wise guys. Normally they would not like the fact he was with a black woman, but the thing that saves him is that they all wished they were him, they all loved Dion. However, their wives were not very happy with her, maybe they were afraid their husbands would find black women too, Dion muses?

Angelo moves Dion into a townhouse and she becomes an official “goumah.” Angelo is there all the time. Her job was to look good for Angelo. She always had champagne and wine ready, she cooked pasta dishes and she took money from his stash to go shopping. She devoted herself to making Angelo happy. He would be with her all night and go to work all day.

One night in 1996 there is trouble. They are in the apartment having sex, when there is a commotion at the door. An unexpected visitor shows up banging on the door and yelling, “Ang, I know you’re in there!” The next day Angelo moves in with Dion and leaving his Sicilian wife for a black mistress. Angelo rebels against mob convention. His entire family was devastated. Divorce is not something they believe in. Angelo tells them if they want to see him they are going to have to see her too, so they meet her. Dion’s days of being a mistress were numbered. Angelo was getting a divorce and marrying her.

Angelo and Dion have a baby girl. Angelo is called in for an official sit down. He is told he is disrespecting his family and that he can’t marry Dion and divorce his wife. Angelo sticks to his guns. He is an associate, not a made man, so he gets away with the divorce and marrying Dion. He buys Dion a house in the Poconos and on February 5th, 2005 baby Gia is born. Angelo’s family loved their daughter and called her all kinds of sweet Sicilian names. It was a dream come true for Dion, she had money, a housekeeper and a nanny.

On October 10, 2007 at 5:30 AM the dog is barking. There is banging on the door. Angelo is arrested in a mob sweep. It was a big scene in her neighborhood. The FBI arrests him for extortion and try to get him to talk and cut a deal. Dion learns a lot more about Angelo and is in shock. However, Angelo never cooperates and goes to trial. In 2008 he is convicted of extortion and is sentenced to 46 months in prison. Their daughter, Gia, is only 3 years old.

Angelo never ratted on anyone. Dion knew she had to go to work, the money was gone and she was left with bills to pay on the car and the mortgage. She gets three jobs to make ends meet and even tries to collect on debts owed to Angelo, without much success. While in prison. Angelo finds God. He gets out of prison next month, October, 2011 and intends to go straight. To do that successfully he would need to avoid his old environment and not get sucked back into the life.

Dion and Angelo have been together for 16 years. Will they make it? Time will tell.

Spartacus: Death of a Legend

Andy Whitfield as Spartacus
I have not written anything in a while. I was just listening to Howard Stern and heard that Andy Whitfield has died. For those not familar with Andy, he played the role of Spartacus on the Starz network's "Spartacus: Blood and Sand." I know that I can write this for Mob Mistress. She is a big fan. (It was more like an obsession, but I am attempting to be kind.) I think she went as far as claiming that he was her new baby's daddy.

Andy Whitfield was an Australian born actor who was diagnosed with non-Hodgkins lymphoma. He battled the disease shy of two years. He was 39 years old. For those that have not watched him in action his show is currently available on Netflix but you might also be able to catch it on Starz in reruns. There are many memorable scenes. One thing that I could appreciate about Andy, he could take one helluva an ass beating. He also dealt out death like it was cool. The show is bloody, violent and sexy but there was more.
For those who watched the show, the one thing that struck me was Spartacus and his love for his wife. I could get into the whole synopsis of the show. Instead I will share Spartacus was a warrior who then was enslaved. He fought for his life hoping to see his wife again. He loved his wife dearly and Andy conveyed the emotion needed for the role.

I am truly saddened to learn of his death. It's also odd the show will continue without Andy Whitfield. He will be missed by a devoted wife, son, daughter, family, friends and fans. I am sure Mistress is about three quarters of her way through the Chunky Monkey and sour cream and onion potato chips. She was touched when it came to Spartacus. Rest in peace Andy, you will be missed.

Mob Wives: The Flip Off

My all-time favorite picture of The Prez of JustJenn Productions
Considering I am the vulgar & classless one of our blogging gang, I am most likely the only one dying to post a big f*ck you picture. Today, is a terrible day for me. I am minutes away from buying a pint of Ben & Jerry's Chunky Monkey and huge bag of Lay's Sour Cream & Onion Potato Chips. Yes, I am going to eat them in sync. It's my down in the dumps vice. So for those who come to the blog daily in spite of not liking what we do; gloat knowing I am miserable today. For any Mob Wives or I Married A Mobster cast member who gets pissed when I blog the truth or opinion, you gloat too!

Karen Gravano of Mob Wives & "Dion" Nicosia of I Married A Mobster demonstrate the flip off with conviction!
Diondrea Nicosia posted this picture right on time. It is so representative of how I feel today. Recently she attended Love Majewski's premiere party for I Married A Mobster's Love Hurts episode. At the Lair Lounge she met up with one of the realest Mob Wives Karen Gravano. I would've loved to be an ice cube in Karen's Grey Goose to hear what these two women talked about.

Sources shared the Love Hurts episode garnered it's highest ratings for Discovery ID's new series. So we are hoping the I Married A Mobster audience is warmed up for Dion and shows her episode the same support. It is the final episode of the series and airs Wednesday, September 14 @ 10:30 PM. For you early birds sometimes I catch it around 8:00 PM, I don't know if that's a network error. However, the bags under my eyes appreciate the slip up.

I Married A Mobster: Recap Of “Love Hurts”

Lorraine Majewski gave birth to Love in Staten Island, New York in 1971. After having two more children, Lorraine divorces her husband and gets three jobs to support her family. Still money was tight and they struggled financially. Love gets hand me downs from her grandmother’s well to do neighbors. One day a girl sees Love and confronts her, saying that those are her shoes. Love denies it, but the girl insists that she wrote her name on the bottom of the shoes and Love is forced to show them the bottom of her shoes. The girl’s name was there. Love was humiliated and decided right there and then she would never wear hand me downs or other people’s shoes again.

When a friend of Love’s gets pregnant at 14, Lorraine decides to move to a better neighborhood in Staten Island, not realizing that the area was full of mobsters. Lorraine sends Love to a private school where the other students are the sons and daughters of wise guys. Lorraine says she didn’t understand this world where the bad guys were good and the good guys were bad.

When Love is a teen she falls for Chris, a low level thief who goes from stealing car radios to cars. Chris hangs around Love’s house and Lorraine isn’t thrilled. He would show up in different cars all the time and Lorraine suspected he was stealing cars.

After one bad argument, Love decides not to take Chris’ calls. He decides to go to the house and pushes in the door and Love’s mother to get in the house. He grabs Love and drags her out to his car and shoves her in. They drive around a while until he calms down. Meanwhile, Lorraine calls the police and they handcuff Chris and take him in for questioning. Lorraine has finally saved up enough money to buy a new car. One night, soon after she buys it, she hears the dog barking outside. She looks out the window to see her car on fire. She had no fire insurance on it and knew it had to be one of Love’s friends.

Getting away from Chris wasn’t easy. One year later Love meets Ray of the “Untouchables.” She trades up. He has “Italian Stallion” on his license plate and she was in awe of him. Chris takes a back seat to Ray, once he becomes involved with Love. Ray has rules for his girlfriends: no drugs, no smoking, no more than three drinks. Love tells her mother that Ray has a nice family and she has Sunday dinner there.

Ray took care of her every minute of every day. There was plenty of cash and he never had to go to work. They spent their days making love, it was unbelievable, says Love. By 1991, Love and Ray were inseparable. But, both the FBI and the mob had their eye on Ray. Ray gets enforcers from the Gambino crime family. Then there was a scheme regarding the theft of a high end boat. Chris and Ray steal the boat and alter it with a different paint job. When Ray and Chris are arrested for the crime they need Love’s help.

One dark and moonless night, Ray and Chris hide in the trunk of Love’s car as she drives over to Randall’s Island. They locate the boat and blow it up from the inside out. Chris lights the match and runs back to the car and Love takes off, back to Staten Island. Mission accomplished, evidence destroyed. That just reinforced the name that was given to them, "the untouchables."

After the incident, Chris skips town. He does a home invasion gone wrong, and someone is killed during the robbery. Ray and Love become engaged and he buys her a three carat, flawless diamond. Love is thrilled until her friend tells her to think about it; he will probably end up dead or in jail and she will be left with a baby to raise alone. Love decides to think it through and while she tries to make amends with her mother. She takes her mother on a trip to Cancun where they meet a friend of Ray’s.

Reneactment with Erika Schiff

They return one week later and Love learns that Ray has been seen with another woman, her best friend Stacy. Ray was parading her around town. When Love sees them at a bar together she explodes and breaks Stacy's nose. She breaks up with Ray and when they leave the bar, she shoots up his car. The cops show up and take them both in. After the incident they reconcile for a short time. But, then Ray tries to strangle her with a phone cord, she stabs him with a knife, he steals her car and she sets his house on fire.

Weeks later, the other woman moves in with Ray and Love is done. She just wants a normal guy and a normal life. She moves to New Jersey and meets a nerdy guy who is divorced with children. Love reinvents herself. They get engaged, she is happy. One day she is at home alone with the children, giving them baths and there is a knock at the door. It was 2009, and the organized crime task force was looking for her. They showed up after all these years wanting her to confess to the boat crime. They call her new life a scam. If she doesn’t cooperate they are going to have the children taken away from her and arrest her. They know her exe has been in the area and think he has made contact with her.

Love realizes that she has to come clean with her fiancé and tell him who she is. He crumbles. She ends by saying that although she has made bad choices, she is not a bad person.

Mob Wives: Joseph Ferragamo Eye Candy

Mob Wife Carla Facciolo's handsome husband
Mondays are rough, even around here. So I thought the ladies & even some gents could use some eye candy. I think Joseph Ferragamo, Carla Facciolo's husband fit the bill. Look I am an old lady I got to get my thrills when I can. Is it me or do guys come out of the pen looking like they just left the spa?

Recently Carla tweeted she went shopping. And once again she came home with shoes. I have to admit she has great taste in shoes among other things.

Carla Facciolo's serious shoe game.
Are those a nice pair of shoes? I think so. But I'd have to get a S.O.S. pad to scrub the crust off my feet to wear them. It ain't happenin' captain! Those digging Carla of Mob Wives will enjoy this tweet from the Staten Island gym rat several days ago:

"Once again I went shopping and all I bought was shoes! I better get in good shape cause I'm gona be naked with hot shoes on.. lol"

Better Carla than me, I'd look like Jabba the Hutt from Star Wars. Speaking of Jabba now that was a galaxy gangster if you ask me.

Mob Wives: Mikey Scars Gets Away Scott Free

Mikey Scars: Three years & time served!

Mikey Scars aka Michael Dileonardo, is one hell of a mobster with a long history of criminal activity. He also was allegedly connected to Carla Facciolo, (read our detailed blog on that). That’s why it is very interesting that the New York Post reports that he was sentenced to three years time served today. By ratting on every mobster he knew, Mikey never had to serve any time for his crimes.

Mikey Scars was a Gambino capo turned government witness and helped to convict over 80 gangsters by testifying at 14 trials. For his trouble the mob thanked him with several attempts on his life. The Feds thanked him with three years time served for his cooperation despite his long list of crimes which included murder. Of course, he is in grave danger for breaking the mafia sacred oath of silence, the Omerta. One of those he informed on was John Gotti Jr. That left Victoria Gotti, his mother, very angry (there’s a blog on this too). If the mafia ever does locate him there is no telling what would becomeof him.

Mickey Scars is currently living in the witness protection program with his second wife and kids.

Mob Wives: Renee Graziano's Mystery Man Gone?

Renee Graziano giving us hot mama in Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics!
Please do not shoot the messenger. However, I catch what I catch. I see what I see. I could pretend that I didn't see it. Yet, that would give you zero reason to come back and read The Mob Wives Blogspot. At the end of season 1 of Mob Wives, many of us were excited that Renee Graziano had a big good looking man on her arm. He was a former NFL football player. He seemed like a potential excellent catch. Renee seemed ready to move on and find love after Hector Pagan.

Well, I do not think we'll be seeing Mystery Man season 2 of Mob Wives. Hector Pagan's (Junior) sister Jasmine tweeted the following:
We love tweeting relatives and friends of the Mob Wives!
OrganizedLadyNY tweeted, "Home sweet home... my brother @jrpaganmobwives is repenting 4 his sins & treatin @reneegraziano 2 a night of #ROMANCE :)"

You read it right! It's looks like Renee is taking back Junior. People love who they love. If Junior is the man Renee wants to make googly eyes at, I am happy for her. Mr. Pagan is the father of her only child. And we can't forget that when she calls, Hector comes a running. He's not a knight on a white horse. However, he is a tall, dark and handsome guy. I know! I know! He's a former convict. No one's perfect, let's just hope there are no more side dishes in the background. I hope the two love birds had a very romantic evening!

I Married A Mobster: Oh Little Linda!

Big Linda, Greg Scarpa mistress and their daughter Little Linda
Until last night, I've had zero interaction with Little Linda Schiro. Beyond Big Linda accepting my Facebook friend request months ago, we had no interaction. On July 11, I sent Big Linda a message introducing myself to her and informing her about our site. She accepted my friend request. I didn't reach out to Big Linda anymore, once I witnessed her Facebook activity. The older Linda Schiro played a few Facebook games. However, the bulk of her activity encompassed her deceased son, Joey Scarpa. In addiction she provided comfort to others who have lost their loved ones. In my opinion, it was a Facebook memorial in the memory of Joey. I didn't visit her page daily nor weekly. Once in a blue moon, when I got the itch to ask for an interview I'd go to her page. I'd witness a mother morning her son. My interviewing her just wasn't that important in the scheme of things. I left her alone.

Due to a major power outage, I was dead in the water last night. My only link to the outside world was a cell phone that sporadically worked. Last night a Linda Ann Schiro friend requested me around 6:19 PM. Around 6:29 PM she then poked me. I am guessing this is Little Linda. She had a lovely profile picture up with two friends. Later it was changed to a generic picture. When my power came back on I added her. Around that time she or someone pretending to be her commented on Chiara's Daddy Girl post.

"I dont expect tears nor did i want sympathy my episode was to show how this life destroys everything around you. You lose people you love and no one deserves to be killed by anyone mafia or not. I have zero respect for anyone that portrays this life as the "good life" this includes all the mob wives on VH1. The life they show is that of conceit. They have no shame but thats neither here nor there...I live with pain as does the families who lost loved ones. And I think its terrible that people try to glam up this life...You know who you are....pathetic.. My episode was from my heart, my pain, my reality...No fake reality show can do that." LIL linda

Sometime today, she deleted me as a Facebook friend. (I had time to gather the photos I wanted.) And then her mother's account disappeared from my list of friends. I don't know if I'll be able to make it through life without the Lindas as my Facebook friends. However, I'll do my very best to survive. I hope Little Linda gathered the information she was looking for on my Facebook page. Anyone with two brain cells walked away knowing I am nobody's cheerleader.
The timing tickled me considering it was right after the airing of Love Majewski's episode and her packed premiere party. Oh jealousy, oh jealousy how do I overcome thee. And it doesn't stop there. It's rumored that Little Linda compares herself to Carla Facciolo of Mob Wives & views her as competition. [insert extremely long pause & laughter here] Beyond the long brown hair, I don't get it. And Carla's hair is gorgeous, so that's not even working for me. I decide to call Love Majewski.

Hey, sorry to bother you. Do you have pictures of Little Linda at your party?
No, Mistress and don't start with me!

What? I saw pictures of some of the other I Married A Mobster women and Mob Wives. I wanted to do a post showing the various ladies from I Married A Mobster at your party. Some of you always think I am up to something.
You are.

Hey, I got to look out for my readers. Information is my only goal.
We both laugh! You are a very, very bad. She wasn't invited. Do not ask me another question.

Did I tell you how much I love your Veritas lipliners?
Mistress, I have to take this important call, bye bye!

....dial tone....

What am I Rodney Dangerfield now? I get no respect. Not invited......oh I have some digging to do. Someone is going to tell The Blogmother something!
I Married a Mobster's Little Linda disapproves of Mob Wives.

I have a question is Mob Wives glamorizing the lifestyle? Sure we've seen nice homes, furs, stylish clothes and shoes. However, more often than not have we not all seen children without their fathers. Have we not heard the verbal abuse showered on one wife? Have we not seen the chaos of not having the ability to trust those you call your friends or associates? Have you not caught the lies told in order for a Mob Wife to save face? I truly don't see the glamour in Mob Wives. Sure they have some nice things, but there is equally chaos & dysfunction. At the end of the day Mob Wives is a docu-soap that I am addicted to. I also have to admit Discovery ID's I Married A Mobster has become one of my favorite series. I have actually been an avid viewer of Discovery ID for sometime now. I am hoping there is a season 2 of I Married A Mobster.

Until then I am on the verge of having a chat with a very legitimate Scarpa. I was a sleeping cat until someone stepped on my tail. Now we shall play....MEOW.

I Married A Mobster: The Feds Send Love

It couldn't have happened @ a better time. The FBI decided to send Love Majewski her belongings back. I can't type too much because Miss Majewski is a brawler. I am not scared. I just have a perfect nose and I'm not trying to get it broken. Anyhow as I was typing the Feds sent Love all her sh!t back that they confiscated years ago. Where was her stuff? It was at the alleged leader of The Untouchables Ray Merolle's residence when the FBI cleaned up.

What did the Feds send to Love with love? Purses...
Bags, bags, bags, bags............
Shoes....
Shoes, shoes, shoes, shoes.................
And one cannot forget furs, who can be a mob wife, mob moll or left-handed wife without a fur in the closet.
Furs, furs and designer shades...............
Well, I am calling dibs on the Fendi Spy Bag or the Gucci tote with braided handles. She can send it to me or sell it to me. It's not like she'll miss one of them. She hasn't worn them in years. I Married A Mobster: Love Hurts aired tonight on Discovery ID @ 10:30pm. I have to be honest it was my favorite episode so far. It was like a mini Lifetime movie! Thirty minutes weren't enough to tell the crazy story of Love Majewski.

Are men on the endangered species list and someone forgot to tell me? There are just too many men in the world for anyone to sleep with their best friend's man! Come on people..... If you missed the episode, catch a rerun. You will not regret it. Also look out for reruns of Andrea Giovino & Cheryl Caruso's episodes.

A canary chirped in my ear tonight. Chiara had a wonderful time @ Love Majewski's episode premiere party. She met some Mob Wives and as usual they were on their very best behavior. Oh the perks of being The Mob Wives Blogspot on location representative. I'm going to stay in the cuts & be a blur like one very smart cookie I know.
