Last night I saw the above tweet from Chris Scoleri and I want to help spread her message around. Warning: If you “condone” my blog she will unfollow you. “How bout that?” Now I will address her comments and you can agree with me or not. I don’t unfollow every person who has a different opinion, I appreciate all opinions that are respectfully presented.
My Dear Ms. Scoleri (and I say
"dear" with all due respect):
I understand that you do not share or appreciate my opinion on the blog. When I recap, I present the facts of what actually happened on the show, and then offer my opinion. Anyone is free to agree or disagree as they see fit.
As for you unfollowing anyone who “condones” the blog, I have a few things to say. First, you might want to unfollow Jennifer Graziano, the Executive Producer and Creator of your show. She not only “condones” the blog, but appreciates and supports it. She even retweets us. Jennifer understands that we keep viewers interested in the show from Monday to Sunday AND between seasons, by writing about the cast. We are dedicated to all of Jennifer Graziano’s productions and she knows we have a large readership. We promote the show for our own enjoyment and it benefits her business. We are on the first page of virtually every Google search on Mob Wives. We will write about things our readers want to read. If you have a problem with Jennifer, I suggest you unfollow her. “How bout that?”
Second, we are “condoned” by several of the original Mob Wives who also retweet us. They are Renee Graziano, Karen Gravano and Ramona Rizzo. We have written about them many times and have promoted their business ventures and dozens of appearances on our blog. They have been known to retweet us often. If you have a problem with them, you should unfollow them. “How bout that?”
Third, the cast of Big Ang follows us and retweets us regularly. They appreciate the exposure we give to their show and cast members. If you have an issue with them, why not unfollow them now? “How bout that?”
The list goes on and on. You can unfollow me, I don’t have a problem with that. What you don’t get is what the blog does for the show, the cast and you personally.
What was so offensive? This is what I said about you this week:
Christina still makes no sense to me. She was up in arms in episode one because Nora called Pia a “whore,” but now she doesn’t mind the hurtful things Nora said to Pia and Renee. She is upset because they attacked Nora and hit her. Didn’t she attack Pia and pull her hair out over a lot less? Is that the truth or not?
And this is what VH1’s blog had to say, besides alluding to you fighting whenever you drink:
“’I feel like my relationship has changed dramastically with Nora,’ (George W. Bush) Christina says, when she tells Nora about this new version of the fight. At least they have each other and all their bizarro made up words.”
And here, Reality Tea, pokes fun at your “creative” made up words:
“Christina is just thrilled that her relationship with Nora has changed “dramastically.” I am going to start using that term every day. Nora discusses her wine and repeats her line about the wine being her dad running through her veins. Christina thanks Nora for now equating wine with dead people. Christina took the words right out of my mouth!”
At least I didn’t poke fun at your misuse of the English language, as I am guessing you meant to say "dramatically?" So, I guess you better unfollow your own network, VH1, too. “How bout that?”
Oh, you better unfollow your girls Pia and Leah too. I think they get what this blog does, if only for getting their names out there all the time for fans, and supporting them. Even Nora, who has her wine, "The German" coming out, went back to following me maybe because she could benefit from the extra exposure. It’s good for business. “How bout that?”
When you are on reality television, you have to take the good with the bad and develop a thick skin. You are on a show called Mob Wives Chicago that promotes how “bad” you all are. Then someone critiques your behavior on the show a little bit and you go crying and unfollowing people because your ego is bruised? I only stated the truth based on what I saw, but you run from the truth. How “real” can you be if you can't handle the truth?
In any case, your unfollowing me is no skin off my nose. I have plenty to blog about, too much in fact to worry about you. Jennifer should have a basic class for all new Mob Wives, and explain this all to them before they sign on to do a show. The show creates drama to attract viewers, blogs dissect the drama to attract readers. Simple. Both benefit in the end.
The irony of it all is that I really liked your personality, your witty remarks, and even as I critiqued your scenes, I said so. I wish you nothing but the best in all your future endeavors. It was good while it lasted…9 episodes and all.
