Mob Wives: Chiara's Suggestions For Season 2

No doubt Renee is right about there being more drama for season 2. I have watched Mob Wives all season. I have read dozens of articles, interviews and watched videos of the all the mob wives. I have learned a lot from all of them about these women and the show. However, I didn’t expect to learn so much from our blog. The reading habits of our readers has helped me to see some of the things that are of most interest to the fans who visit our site. I also have some things I would like to see on and off the show that I would like to suggest. Maybe you do too? Here are some of the ideas I have.

1. Give AJ a larger role on the show. AJ is very popular with the younger fans of the show because of his handsome looks. AJ is also popular with older fansof the show, because he is a mature, respectful young man with good values. In short, people enjoy seeing AJ and have a very positive response to him. I would like to see a tender moment between AJ and Renee discussing their feelings about her father being released from prison. I would like to see other scenes of AJ as well, maybe at his computer, discussing different colleges with his mother, working on a school project, listening to music, or playing a video game with his cousin, Justin.

2. Cut back on the use of profanities. I think this has already been happening as the show progressed. But it’s my feeling that, when those types of words are thrown around all the time and for no reason, they lose their impact and “shock value.” Maybe they should be reserved for scenes showing anger, even annoyance, or frustration. I don’t think any of the women use profanity as much as it is depicted on the show, so why add gratuitous profanity in their dialogue on the show?

3. A Picture of Lee D’Avanzo. Everyone and their grandmother wants to see Lee. If the producers can manage to get a picture of Lee D’Avanzo into the show it would bring about some high ratings for that episode. Our readers, and google searches indicate that viewers are very curious and interested in seeing a picture of the man that Karen and Drita have been fighting over all season long. The Lee storyline has been a big focus of the show and the finale has only served to increase the fans interest in what he looks like. I would suggest maybe a heart to heart talk between Drita and Aleeya where one of them is holding his picture and then a close up shot of it. At some point Drita does need to talk to Aleeya, if she hasn’t already, because she will most certainly learn about Lee’s cheating from watching the show or hearing about it from someone else. If that scenario doesn’t work, Drita can be talking to Carla about Lee and the status of her marriage, with his picture in hand, and she can slam it down, just like she does with the phone.

4. An interview with Jennifer Graziano. Viewers are curious about Jenn Graziano, it’s only natural. Maybe a very short candid interview with her, regarding the her concept for the show and how it evolved, could be worked into the beginning or end of an episode. We know Ms. Graziano is a private and reserved person, but there is a lot of interest in her role as executive producer and creator of the show. We’d also like more details on future projects she is planning or working on.

5. Question & Answer show with the Mob Wives and their fans. Everyone in the studio audience gets a T-Shirt, it reads their “team name” eg. Team Renee, Team Karen, Team Drita, Team Carla. The random audience members can ask prescreened questions to the four Mob Wives. I think it would be a great way to promote the show, as well as give fans an opportunity to see other sides to all the wives that may not come out on the show. I would schedule it a week or two before season 2 actually starts, to create a buzz, and have it hosted by Wendy Williams?

6. How about a talk show program with the Mob Wives and their mothers (not sure this is possible). But, it would certainly bring about a lot of publicity for the show as I think fans would love to see the mob wives with their mothers, seeing how they are alike, how they are different, how they get along and what they have to say about each other.

7. An appearance by Joe Ferragamo. We have heard a lot about Joe and viewers jumped at the chance to see his photos online. I think it would be of great interest to see Joe interacting with his children, after a brief interaction with Carla, just to see the family dynamic between Joe and Carla and the kids. I think many people are curious to also see what Joe looks like today, after 5 years in prison.

8. Jail Mail Inc. There has been tremendous interest in Renee’s new company, Jail Mail Inc. Much more than I ever expected. Our blog on Jail Mail was number one for the longest time. I would hope there will be a scene showing the operation of this new company, at its office, to see how it’s going to work.

9. An appearance by David Seabrook. David is another person the audience has been interested. It would be easy to tape Karen, Karina and David having an intimate family dinner together, maybe discussing their future plans as to where they will all be living or even discussing the progress on Karen’s book. I think the viewers would love to see David and how he interacts with Karen and Karina.

10. A trip to Morocco! Send the Mob Wives to Morocco! Of course this is just a joke. I couldn’t resist making this comment after watching the hilarious three episodes of the Real Housewives of New York on their trip to Morocco. Can you imagine our four ladies riding across the desert on camels? The heat has a way of bringing out the worst in people and there is no AC out in the desert. The NY wives had plenty of drama while they were they to relax and enjoy themselves. From the looks of it they could not get along if their lives depended on it. If I had to label their drama vs. the Mob Wives drama I would call the NY Housewives as “squabbles” and the Mob Wives as “brawls.” No comparison.

But, I digress.   A nice trip for all four Mob Wives would be in order…maybe to the Jersey Shore or the Bahamas?   How do we work that into an episode?   I don’t know, I can’t think of everything!
So tell us!  What would you like to see next season?

Mob Wives: Renee Graziano Interview With Cherry Martinez

Part 6: The Priest Story!

This 6 part radio interview, on Cherryontopdotcom, with Renee took place on May 9 to May 11, and I found Renee to be playful, charming, engaging, funny, entertaining AND all with no cursing. The interviewer, Cherry, had known Renee before the show and they had a great rapport. It was relaxed and easy going and I really enjoyed it. There is maybe 40 to 45 minutes of viewing from the 6 parts, that you can watch at various times, that touch on different subjects in Renee’s life. Let’s get down to business!

Part 1: Renee brings Cherry a gift of earrings from “Rich Rocks,” a company that makes fake jewelry and Renee loves it. At this point we are only 3 episodes into the show. The subject of Jail Mail Inc comes up first. Renee explains that she has spent 25 years dealing with her loved ones being in jail. Her father has currently been in prison for 11.5 years and Junior is in and out, and due to go back. She plans to have Jail Mail Inc up and running by the end of the first season. Her website will send cards to inmates for you to loved ones, once you register. This is not about the money for Renee, in fact it’s very personal. She has written 8 to 10 thousand letters to inmates over the past 25 years. It’s all about supporting loved ones who look forward to their “mail call” and listen for their names. She knows first hand how important her own letters have been to her loved ones.

Part 2: AJ Pagan is the topic of this segment. When they went to Florida in April, AJ told Renee that she didn’t need sunglasses because she wouldn’t be recognized. No sooner they step off the elevator and take three steps they here “OMG, OMG! Are you AJ from Mob Wives?” The young girls recognize him and he is taken aback by it, but he is a very well grounded young man. He was never star struck as a child and Renee has always worked with famous people, but it has never affected him.

What was AJ’s reaction to Junior’s (Hector Pagan) Mob Bust. AJ seems very strong, but Renee always wants to know how he is feeling and keeps trying to get him to open up. AJ doesn’t react, he has to be strong, and he didn’t have a normal childhood. His father went away when he was four or five and he has known prison visits all his life. His father, Junior, has been in prison 6.5 years of his life. AJ credits Renee with teaching him how to be strong and she feels maybe she hasn’t given herself enough credit for being a good role model to him.

What are the misconceptions of prison life? Renee says that people should understand that everybody is a human being regardless of what they did. She doesn’t fault the government for doing their job and has no ill will towards prisoners, who were doing their jobs, maybe not the right jobs. But everyone is human, everyone has a heart. So stick together and support your loved ones.

Part 3: How did all the women meet? Renee credits her sister, Jenn Graziano, of JustJenn Productions, who is the Executive Producer and Creator of the show with it’s success and bringing together all the women. Renee has known Carla since she was 16 and met her when Carla was dating a friend of hers. Karen and Renee were friends since early childhood because of their fathers, but lost communication when Sammy turned informant and Renee was told never to speak to Karen again. Renee says she met Drita about 15 years ago. Karen and Drita are both long time best friends of Jenn and Renee is friends with Carla and that is how they all got together.

The Mob Bust was reported to be the largest in US History says Renee, and there ended up being 135 mobsters arrested. She describes Junior (Hector Pagan) as her ex-husband, her best friend, the person she likes fighting with the most, the one who protects her, the person she loved most. When the phone rang at 5am, she knew immediately what to do. She yells up to AJ to get dressed because they have to go to court. She refers to herself as pathetic because she continues to allow her ex-husband’s problems to become hers, but the reality is he is still her son’s father, and they are still there for each other. She claims she is not still in love with Junior, she loves him to death, but there is nothing romantic between them. But, they have never really severed all ties and moved on. Renee feels she needs to let go in order to have a healthy relationship with someone new.

Part 4: The popularity of the show! An estimated 2.2 people watched the show the first two weeks it aired. Why is that? Renee says the girl fight must be responsible and laughs. Cherry wants to know if it’s all “real.” Renee answers, the only thing fake about her is her nose. She gives 100%, there is no acting involved. So what does the future hold for Renee? Renee says she would love to “act.” because she has always been a drama queen. After the series ends she will go where God takes her. She is focused on Jail Mail Inc right now. She would also like to write a book. She is open to ideas. She is happy right now and the show is helping her find her identity.

How does her family feel about the show? Renee explains that her father, Anthony "T G" Graziano doesn’t speak to her now because of the show. After she made the decision to do the show he told her “you made your bed, sleep in it.” He told her he loves her and he would always love and protect her, but they could no longer talk to each other. He is not comfortable with her speaking so freely about her life. She respects that and her father. But, She says she needs to live her own life; her father lived his and he has her mother, they will be married 50 years, they’re good. This is about Renee, and not in a selfish way, Renee needs to know who she is. Her mother loves her.

What has she learned about herself from the show? Renee’s list is impressive, she learned: to stop whining, to depend on herself, not wait for a man to do things for her, she’s a better mother because she is giving AJ a better direction in life, she needs to diet because the cameras are abusing her by adding weight, she has learned to live and let live and not to take things so personally.

Part 5: How do the other women treat her? Renee replies that her sister, Jenn, treats them all the same, she does not get any kind of special treatment just because they are sisters. Jenn is a businesswoman and there is no playing around. In fact, she says that Jenn treats her much the same way AJ does, by telling her off when she needs it. The other women consider her to be emotional, overly sensitive and a drama queen. Renee says she didn’t choose to be a drama queen because she likes it---it’s due to the “life” and how she was raised. She said that Karen showing up at her door after the Mob Bust was “out of left field” and unexpected…just like when she showed up at Carla’s party.

How does Staten Island feel about Renee? What does she encounter at the supermarket, for example. She says she has been stopped everywhere she goes and so far, outside of two people, it’s been all positive. Renee doesn’t care if you love the show or hate it, as long as you watch it, she is good with it.

Does AJ have to deal with Renee “haters”? So far no, says Renee, but she prays it never happens because her son is off limits. She is not saying she is threatening, but he is an innocent child, he shouldn’t have to defend his mother. He lives his own life and if anyone decides to attack him in any way, they will be answering to her and his daddy too. There is no playing around when it comes to AJ.

Part 6:  Does AJ have groupies? If he does, he hasn’t told Renee, but there are a lot of young girls following him and he gets recognized everywhere. Renee says he is so, so humble and she goes to him with everything she can. He is in public school now, but he was in a private school. Here’s a little story Renee enjoyed telling and I enjoyed hearing…for me, best part of the interview! AJ went to Catholic school and he hadn’t made his Confirmation yet. So the priest called him “pagan” instead of Pagan. AJ corrected him, and said it’s “Pagan.” The priest says it’s “pagan” until you make your Confirmation. (Uh oh!) Well, Renee paid the priest a little visit. She knocks on his door and yells, “No, it’s GRAZIANO! Got that!?!   I’m not playing with my son.” She tells him not to call him “pagan” because AJ believes in God and that a foul thing to do. The priest said he hadn’t meant anything except that AJ hadn’t made Confirmation. She answered, not making Confirmation is one thing, but calling “pagan” in front of everybody at school? And then she removed him from the school (and converted me into her fan). She said nothing bothers AJ, but this bothered him. Renee tells the story better than I do, you must have a listen!

Her advice for women with men in the mob? She sings, “Stand By Your Man.” that’s her advice. If you love, him stick it out. If you have children who want their father in their life, stick it out. But if you don’t love the guy set him free and move on and set yourself free too.

There are a few more little tidbits here are there, in the interview. Renee does a great job and I am so glad I finally had the time to watch it. This week I am on “Team Renee!”

MOB Wives: Recap Ep 106 “Dumb or Stupid”

What an action packed episode! It was so worth waiting for and it did not disappoint. I call this episode the “GYM”nasts vs. the OUT of Shapes!

We start at Carla’s house as Drita comes to the door to tell her about Karen’s visit and how she was bashing Lee. She couldn’t believe that Karen would be so disrespectful in her home and say things to hurt her daughter. Carla says it’s ancient history already and men should not come between friends (too bad she doesn’t take her own advice later in the show!). Drita feels that Karen’s words changed their friendship and it will never be the same again.

Karen meets Renee for dinner and she also wants to discuss her visit with Drita. She says it was intense. Drita is still diminishing Karen’s relationship with Lee. Renee asks her if she called Drita a “coward.” Karen says no. Renee says so you still didn’t tell her how you really feel and the situation hasn’t been cleared up. Karen just wants Drita to accept responsibility for doing something wrong (by not telling her she was dating Lee) and say she is sorry.

Drita is at home and having a pleasant conversation with Lee. Everything is great since they made up. She tells him about the new “evil eye” tattoo she plans to get and asks him where she should get it. He says behind her neck. Then he asks for some “sexy” pictures of Drita showing some skin. Drita almost gets a little embarrassed, she doesn’t want the guards to see them. Lee tells her make sure they aren’t too dirty, cover up a little bit. That’s a caring husband for you.

Carla meets Renee at a restaurant and they discuss the Drita/Karen conversation. Renee explains Karen’s point of view to Carla, but Carla agrees with Drita that this all happened a very long time ago. Then, out of the blue, Renee says she doesn’t care for Carla’s boyfriend. Carla gets pissed about it again. Renee tells her she heard things and saw things that she is uncomfortable with. Carla responds that she is very happy with her boyfriend. Renee invites her to Sunday dinner with the intention of all four women getting everything out on the table.

At Renee’s house her friend, Nikole, drops by for a shameless plug of Renee’s new business Jail Mail Inc. People can send cards to inmates. It will be run from a website where you type in the person’s name, number, birthday and every month they will get an ecard in prison with a message. You order a “12 month package” for a year’s supply of ecards that are automatically sent out. Renee says that she has been thinking of this for a long time, but now that Junior is going back to jail it’s the right time to do it.

We end up in Drita’s closet with her three year old Giselle. The toddler, who is sweet as can be, comments that her mother has too many clothes. Drita picks out outfits for her sexy photo shoot for Lee. She even admits she has an enormous amount of clothes. Lee buys them for her while he is in prison; isn’t that thoughtful? A friend suggested he got them from “Commissary Chic,” boutique, but I wouldn’t know, I shop at JC Penney. Giselle thinks her mother is beautiful and, Drita says it’s sad, that her daughter doesn’t even know her father.

Renee calls Drita to invite her to Sunday dinner, no kids, just chit chat. She lies to Drita and tells her it will just be her, Renee and Carla. However, Renee has every intention of inviting Karen. This dinner is for the purpose of clearing the air.

Next we are at Carla’s house and Drita stops by. Carla can hardly wait to tell her everything Renee said about Karen, Lee and her boyfriend. Drita says that Renee contradicts herself and should mind her own business. She is tired of being judged by Renee for marrying Lee. Drita feels that Renee doesn’t like anyone and now Drita is pissed. Carla doesn’t want to be around Renee when she talks about other people (like her boyfriend), yet Carla does plenty of gossiping about her friends, hypocrite much? Now Drita is not too happy about going to Renee’s house for dinner and she is ready for a fight.

Another plug for Jail Mail Inc., as we enter the office of Magic Studio and meet Darren. Renee is there to have her website designed. She explains everything she is looking for. Jail Mail Inc…”we’re not incorporated we’re incarcerated.” She wants it to look like a prison, black, with prisoners popping out to get their mail. Clever!

Over at Fantasia Studios Drita arrives with the wardrobe for her photo shoot; sexy pictures for Lee! She gets her makeup done, puts on different outfits and poses in what appears to be a lengthy photo session. She feels this is a big deal because it shows Lee that she still cares, and then she adds, the pictures are going right in the mail box.

Renee calls her friend, Nikole, to tell her that she spoke to Carla about her boyfriend and that Carla went straight to her boyfriend and told him everything she said. The boyfriend texts Renee, “Renee keep my name out of your mouth.” AJ sees the text. Renee calls Carla’s boyfriend and has him on speaker phone to tell him off, and AJ winds up hearing every nasty thing he has to say to Renee. Renee is pissed at Carla.

DINNER TIME! The scene we have all been waiting for has arrived. Just prior to arriving Carla is saying that Renee better not bring up her boyfriend. Drita is annoyed that Renee was talking about her behind her back. Renee wants to confront all the issues and iron them out. Karen has no idea what she is walking into when she gets there.

Everything starts out fine. They talk about Drita’s new tattoo, the one of the “evil eye,” she has hanging all around her house and is now on her neck. She lifts up her hair for them to see it. Neither Carla or Drita know Karen is invited and on her way. Karen seems to come late to parties and dinner, especially when people don’t know she is coming. But, there are four places set at the table and that arouses Drita’s suspicions. Drita mentions the fourth plate. Renee says Karen is coming. Everyone gets seated for dinner. Drita tells us that Renee is spiteful and invited Karen because Carla invited her to Carla’s party and blindsided Renee. Carla says Renee lies and laughs (again a case of the pot calling the kettle black!) Renee tells her she doesn’t lie, she might enhance the truth, but not lie. Carla says she doesn’t believe Renee about the boyfriend. Renee seems to be upset and sincere that she is trying to warn Carla that he is a sleaze ball without saying too much. She says she should be able to share her feelings as her friend. Carla just wants ONE good reason why Renee doesn’t like him. Renee loudly breaks it down for her, “Because when your boyfriend drinks, he likes to touch!”

Renee and Carla exchange words and Karen arrives. Karen can hear the arguing from outside. “Look what the wind blew in,” says Carla. I found this to be disrespectful, but Carla thinks she is being charming. Drita looks like she has an attitude, but doesn’t want to rehash the conversation with Karen and fight. Renee tells Carla that she deserves better. Carla doesn’t think she should have anything to say about her boyfriend and Karen thinks Renee should be able to give her opinion. Then, Karen backs up what Renee said earlier. She tells them that her boyfriend grabbed her ass at Drita’s party. Carla doesn’t care, “he drinks and touches and jokes, he does it out in the open.” She doesn’t take it “personal.” Renee asks her, “Are you Dumb or Stupid!!!” Carla thinks his behavior is funny. I think Carla is stupid (more later).

Then, Carla has the nerve to tell Renee “You should have come that night and told me…B*tch!” And she adds she can call her b*tch, because Renee likes that word. Now excuse me if I am wrong, and the tape doesn’t lie, but Renee did go to her at the party to try to tell her about that louse of a boyfriend. What did Carla do? She says she doesn’t want to hear it and then walks away. She admits to it. So, Renee fulfills her responsibility, as Carla’s friend, to let her know what a creep she is dating, at least in my opinion.

Now Renee and Carla are in each other’s faces screaming. And Renee, who is two inches from Carla’s face, yells that her boyfriend is a “c*nt,” and all hell breaks loose. Major catfight! Carla’s hand start to smash Renee in the face and Renee grabs a fistful of Carla’s hair and down they go to the floor with Drita and Karen “trying,” not so hard, to break them up. Drita, “It’s Insanity!” Carla, “It’s Crazy!” Karen, “They’re all mad and irrational!” Renee, “I’m done with Carla.” VH-1 “Ratings Bonanza!”

Renee is pissed at Carla because she doesn’t keep her man in check. She keeps screaming that AJ saw the text message from the boyfriend and then heard the nasty things he said on the phone to Renee. Drita takes off her shoes and prepares to fight, she has had enough of all the screaming. Drita says it’s a blood bath. Renee wants to show Carla the texts, Carla calls her a liar. Karen tells Renee to shut up. And that’s where it ends, but does it?

Okay, now it’s my turn. Drita did two things wrong in the past, she dated her girlfriend’s ex and she never told her about it. Karen is just now getting around to confronting her about it, many years later. That makes Karen wrong in my book. If she had a legitimate issue she should have brought it up when she first found out about it, not all these years later. Besides that, she keeps wanting to rehash it because Drita never owned what she did and apologized for it. It’s time to drop it. Lee is a loser anyway, at least he was in Karen’s eyes. Karen moved on and she should keep moving. If she is still hurt or angry she should spill her guts in the book. Maybe get Renee to help her “enhance” the truth! That will only increase sales and both Drita and Lee will be sure to read every freaking word. Case closed!

Renee is a good friend in my book. The night of Drita’s party, she went up to Carla, after Carla’s boyfriend “disrespected” her at the bar, to tell her what happened. It was Carla who did not want to hear it and walked away. Then, at Renee’s house, she lies and says Renee should have told her that night, “but you did-ent,” “but you did-ent,” “but you did-ent.” If she would have said that one more time I would have hurled my shoe at the television! Renee tries to tell Carla about the boyfriend at the restaurant, but Carla doesn’t want to hear it there either. Who doesn't listen to a friend you have known for over 25 years, if they have something important to tell you?  Renee takes the bull by the horns and decides to have a sit down dinner to iron it all out: Drita and Karen’s issues and Renee needs to have her say about the boyfriend.

Now, while at dinner, Karen supports what Renee is saying about Carla’s disrespectful boyfriend and says “he grabbed my ass” at the party. Carla laughs and makes light of it and blames it on his drinking. Then she adds, he did it out in the open so he wasn’t hiding anything. Really??? Is she Dumb or Stupid? Is she that desperate for a man that she is willing to put up with that? If anyone can respect Carla after that scene please explain how. I need to know.

Finally, my last issues with Carla (for now). She has been dating this snake for a year or more. Meanwhile, she has been lying to her children about their father working, not being in jail. So how does she explain the boyfriend to them? Hey, kids, daddy works too much so I decided to get a boyfriend to keep me company? Secondly, she doesn’t want to hear anything negative about the boyfriend and yet she has two children to protect. She is exposing them to a low life. What kind of mother does that? Does she know what this guy is capable of? I just don’t get Carla at all. Every time I see her in action or she opens her mouth, I like her less and I like the other 3 more. I wish they would have mentioned the boyfriend’s name, because if she won’t check him out, I will.

Mob Wives: Exposure Galore

Boy oh boy, how I wish Chiara was available. I had an idea for a blog entry. Yet, whatever it was has completely left me. I am 3 minutes away from being in a deep sleep. Don't worry I won't be sleeping with the fish(es).

The Mob Wives are making quite a bang on the celebrity scene. They're hitting night clubs, special events and red carpets. I am definitely not mad @ them. It's best to strike well the iron in hot. Whatever business endeavors they are interested in developing or expanding (let's hope legally), now is time to take advantage of all the free publicity. Whether it be Renee Graziano's Jail Mail (coughs bail), Carla Facciolo's clothing line, Drita D'avanzo's cosmetic line or Karen Gravano's memoir I am wishing all of the mobettes major success. I mean look at Bethanny Frankel formerly of 'The Housewives of New York' and Jill Zarin's underdog side dish (before Jill showed her true colors). Bethanny sold Skinny Girl for a reported $120, 000, 000. And imagine no one ended up with a canary in their mouth or cement shoes. Hard work and refraining from scamming the elderly or breaking into banks does pay! Who knew?

Moving along there has been quite a lot of activity for the Mob Wives. I am truly happy for them because it gives me a reason to blog. I sure in the hell hope you weren't expecting the word 'live' in place of blog. I found an interesting picture of Renee Graziano. I am ashamed to write; I would've seen the dress and brought it too. Just like Ms. Graziano I've would've been looking like I hijacked it from Kate Hudson's closet. I am sure the vibrant colors and loose fit are what attracted her to the dress. However, her legs are making Casper look as if he had an appointment with Drita's spray tan lady. Well all I can write is I am so glad it was Renee's mistake and not mine. If you are over forty and don't have the figure of a personal trainer, for the love of God do not wear dresses that look like your vagina is itching to make a public appearance. You have reached the end of a Blog Public Service Announcement.

Oh and if you have a 30 seconds to spare read the poll to your right (scroll up too) and vote. Jeanette, Love, Chiara, K. and Laura have you voted?

Mob Wives: Renee Graziano’s Jail Mail, Inc.

Like many of you, I have been reading VH1’s website and following the biographies of the Mob Wives with great interest. I was under the impression that Renee already had her own greeting card business up and running. It turns out she doesn’t, at least not yet.

This is what the VH1 bio has to say: “When Renee was young her best friend was arrested and sentenced to many years behind bars. This was her first real introduction to prison, but unfortunately not her last. Thanks to a circle of friends living the street life, Renee has visited over 83 prisons and written hundreds of letters to comfort the many friends she had on "the inside." This correspondence gave her the idea to turn her love of the "the life" into a greeting card company called JAIL MAIL.”

This is what Renee tweeted today: “Jail mail inc..We'r not incorporated we're INCARCERATED!!! Stay tunes 4 the unveiling of JAILMAILINC” (I refuse to correct spelling errors, sorry.)

It appears to me as though Renee is going to use the show and publicity to launch her own business. It may be opportunistic, but it’s a very smart way to make the most of her new found fame. I don’t know if I am crazy about the idea of greeting cards for criminals, but nowadays who knows what will sell. Your guess is as good as mine. The craziest ideas take off and make millions. Why not “Jail Mail”? Maybe she can expand on it down the road with Drita’s package idea? How about “The Inmate Crate?” A lovely box of assorted salamis, twinkies, provolone cheese, a bottle of wine and a saw. Just a thought.
