Mob Wives: Ramona & Karen @ Power 105

The "cousins," Ramona and Karen, paid a visit to Power 105's Breakfast Club for a little interview today!

They start out by explaining why they call each other “cousin.” The women grew up together and their mother’s were pregnant at the same time. They are friends, but feel as close as family, in fact sisters. Now Ramona is a little firecracker, so this is very interesting to watch!

Ramona says she was asked to be in the first season of Mob Wives, but at the time she had a lot of personal and legal issues, and had to decline. She decided to do season two because the opportunity came up again, and all her personal problems were settled, so she decided why not.

They get right into Drita! They are asked about how they feel about her, they don’t like her, hate her? Karen says Drita was going around telling people she put her in the hospital. The reason why she knows it was Drita is kind of petty, but on the rooftop when they had the fight, and she was pulling Karen’s hair, Drita was trying to hurt Karen’s ribs by stepping on them. Later people came to Karen saying that Drita told them she put her in the hospital because she broke her ribs.

Envy wants to know where Ramona is from and he calls her a mini Tyson! Ramona says no matter how Drita wants to spin it, there is a history there that started well before the cameras started rolling last year. Ramona knows Drita and they used to hang out, she knows her sister and her “people.” So when Drita says she is a gangster and acts tough “it ain’t flying with our crew.” And for her to say that she and Karen jumped her, that’s a lie. If they had jumped her, Drita would have been jumping over the ledge. Ramona says she was just trying to pull Drita off of Karen.  Drita threw the first punch “at my friend, Renee’s party…Why does it always gotta be about fights?” She thinks Drita should have shown some respect. Ramona said she had to set Drita straight and now she is being called a troublemaker. Ramona said if they paid attention to that episode they would hear her say to Drita, come on this is not the place for this conversation. She told Drita to go inside and she could talk about her (Ramona) all she wants and she would give her a free pass. Ramona was trying to calm things down for the sake of Renee and her party.

On to Ramona’s wardrobe malfunction! Someone came up and took care of it while the fight was going on. Ramona says she is proud of her figure after having four kids.

Envy says there was a fight and you got punched in the lip. Ramona says she got cut. It’s not clear how she got the cut because people were wearing bracelets and rings. It could have been Drita’s ring or someone else’s, she doesn’t know. All she knows is that she definitely did not get hit. Ramona clears up Derek’s involvement saying that someone who saw the fight yelled out “he hit her,” and things took off from there. Ramona says she would never blame anything on an innocent person, they go for the one who did it.

Drita’s eye? They say we really didn’t see it, what we saw was five days later. Angela wants to know, after this episode, how are they supposed to keep filming together? Karen laughs and says we are still working that out.

Oy, again Angela asks them if this all really is about Lee. Ramona and Karen are both quick to answer no. Karen says, for the thousandth time, it stems from loyalty and friendship. Karen says when she came back she wanted to tell Drita how she felt about the situation so they could put it behind them and move on. She thinks friends should be able to do that even if they never agree on that issue. She says you don’t walk away from that discussion and start talking behind someone’s back. And Karen mentions the scene where she give Drita chapter one of her book as a way of extending an olive branch to her. But Drita, didn’t express her concerns to Karen, instead she went off to talk to Carla about how she is going to crack Karen’s head open.

On to Carla, who Envy said has never dated a black person. One of the women says, “that’s unfortunate on her part.“ Envy says they know Renee and Karen like black men and they ask Ramona if she does. Ramona answers, “I don’t not discriminate.” Ramona says she is Italian and Spanish. And she says she married someone of Arab decent which didn’t go over too well with her family, but we do what we want to do because we are we.

Angela asks them about Drita possibly divorcing Lee because she found out he cheated on her. She asks Karen if she could have predicted it? Karen says Drita could have predicted it if she knew him well enough. That’s her situation and she really won’t speak about it. Karen says she was friends with Drita at the time she was having problems with Lee and confided in Drita about what was going on, so Drita knew Lee’s character and what he was capable of. Karen says she really doesn’t have anything left to say to Drita. Ramona says she is disappointed in Lee for talking the way he did about Karen on the show last season. He is 40 years old and a father, he needs to grow up. And Drita putting her hands on Karen, after she was her friend and broke bread with her, is unacceptable, walk away.

Envy asks Karen if she has spoken to her father Sammy recently, because he is wondering why Drita would take on Karen knowing her father may still have connections out there. Karen says her father doesn’t like the show but he isn’t going to do anything to a girl; but he definitely did not like Lee talking crazy on the show.

On to Big Ang! She has known all of the Mob Wives for years, even though she is older than they are. Ramona says she is a very good hearted person. Angela asks them about Renee, who found out Junior snitched on her Dad. They want to know what they think about Junior. Karen says she doesn’t speak about people’s situations, she has feelings but will keep them to herself.  Envy asks Karen how much weight she has lost. They bring up her mug shot, which is awful. She says she did weigh a lot in that mug shot because she had just given birth. She says she does struggle with weight and it fluctuates.

They are still filming season two. They aren’t even sure what episode they are up to, but they are working a lot. Angela asks if they are trying to get Karen and Drita to make up. Karen says “make-up” is a complicated word. They have to work together, they are on the same show. Ramona says they have to be professional. They ask how they feel about Carla. Karen says, “Carla is Carla.” She adds, she may not agree with what Carla says, but Carla is loyal to Drita and she respects her for that. And the interview is a wrap!

Mob Wives: Renee Graziano @ Power 105

Renee recently was interviewed by Power 105’s Breakfast Club by DJ Envy, Angela Yee and Charlamagne Tha God. Don't skip this blog, it's powerful. Here is how it went down:

They call Renee their home girl from Mob Wives! Envy says she is his “Boo!”  They say she tiny now, weighing in at 110 wet!  And Renee corrects them saying she is still 140. That’s Renee, keeping’ it real. Angela says that Renee is back together with Junior, but there is no elaboration on that yet.

First they want to discuss the surgery that went wrong. Renee explains the went to go get an “ass” and a tummy tuck. During the surgery the doctor didn’t restrain her as he was supposed to, so when she came out of anesthesia, she split her back open. They had to rush her back in and she lost 6.3 pints of blood. She had a three pint transfusion and spent 16 days in the hospital. Angela asks if that’s a malpractice suit and Renee answers, “yeah, definitely a malpractice and a lot worse than that. I am personally very happy to hear that Renee is going to pursue this further because she should have never gone through the nightmare that doctor put her through and she almost died.

Renee admits to fighting depression for over 20 years. They are surprised because she always seems so lively and happy. She attributes it to the lifestyle that has had it’s effects on her. Renee says she had a hole in her back the size of a lemon.

They ask Renee how the show has negatively affective her and would she do it all again. Or maybe it helped her get a lot of things out there and maybe it’s therapeutic?  She said if she had it to do over again, she would not pick someone who was involved in that lifestyle (the mob). But, it has helped her show other people what happens behind closed doors with depression; low self-esteem that comes from the husband always cheating. It’s both positive and negative, but Renee says, “If I can help somebody, then I’m good.” All the men cheat and “Drita’s husband was cheating with my ex-husband’s girlfriend.”

Envy asks, “Who the hell is Big Ang?” Big Ang is Renee’s aunt’s best friend and she has two kids. “She’s absolutely wonderful and so much fun.”

Angela says the fight that happened in episode two was ridiculous, worse than any fight on any of the other reality shows. It seems that Drita and Karen are never going to be able to make up. It all stems from Drita marrying Karen’s ex-boyfriend. Renee says, “Yes, actually they haven’t made up from the first season when they had the fight on the rooftop. They have been trying to figure out the best way to get them to talk and Renee figured at her party, might be a good idea. Hence it was not.”

Angela asks, isn’t Drita trying to divorce her husband Lee anyway? And she feels it’s a shame that they are fighting over a guy that neither one of them wants any more. Renee says, “As far as Karen is concerned, it’s over friendship. And Drita feels that Karen has been disrespectful to her family since she has married Lee." Angela adds that Karen also said that Drita was talking a lot of crap about her behind her back. Renee answers, “I think all the girls do it.” Envy brings up all the crying Drita on the last episode. Renee says, “she doesn’t cry.” Angela said of course she was crying her eye was messed up. Renee says her eye was “really bad, really bad. It scared her.”

Angela gets into Ramona, Karen’s backup. She wants to know what happens when a fight breaks out on the show, because this was a twenty minute fight that could not be broken up. Angela asks, “Who’s Derek?” Renee says, “Derek is a friend of Drita’s, actually we all know Derek and he took Drita’s back that night and accidentally he hit Ramona. I was inside.”  Envy says, they were about to kill him. “Junior went for him,” Renee adds.

AJ, Renee’s son, is all grown up and has a girlfriend and is ready for college.

Charlamagne asks if all the women get along or does it matter. Renee says, “we are separated. Carla and Drita are best of friends. And then Karen and Ramona, they call each other cousins because they are so close. I could get along with everyone, but Carla, and Ang gets along with everybody.”

They get into Carla, who was there last week, and was upset about everything. Renee says, “Yes, I heard.” Charlamagne says, “she tried to reach out to you so you could be cool, but you’re not having it at all.” Renee says, “No. That’s an outright lie, it’s an outright lie.”  Angela says that Carla said she wasn’t invited to the party and maybe for her that was a good thing not being there. But Carla made it seem like she and Renee had made up.  Renee answers, “Well, we were on our way to making up and then people say very ignorant things that involve your children so for me I won’t, I refuse.”

Angela asks about the makeup between Renee and Junior on the last episode. He says he still loves Renee and realized it when he thought he was going to lose her. He said he wanted to reunite. Angela wants to know where things stand right now. Renee’s face shows a mix of sadness and pain as she thinks of how to answer this question. Renee says, “My relationship with him is very complicated. Very complicated. I have always, always cut him enough slack and I think now, at this stage that we’re in, it’s pretty much…there is no more, no more room.” Envy says they heard a rumor that Junior testified against her family member, is it true? Renee answers, “He didn’t testify, according to documents, he wore a wire.” Envy says that’s worse than testifying. They mention her family member, her father. Renee starts to cry, her emotions about this are very raw because it didn’t happen that long ago and it was during this time that Junior was trying to reconcile with her. Renee says they did put her father back in prison to finish serving his sentence because he was out early for good behavior. He came out August 4th and went back in November 21. Charlamagne says, “Junior should be dead to you right now.” Again Renee looks like she is going to cry. She says her father wasn’t the target, he was a casualty. They ask how AJ feels. Renee says, “that’s his father and his grandfather and it’s a very difficult situation for a child to go through. I don’t expect him to pick either one or both, whatever he wants. But, if AJ is as smart as I think he is, he’ll have a relationship with his father and his grandfather because she is trying to keep him away from the same mistakes she has made over the years.” They say that Junior cannot go back to Staten Island. Renee says she doesn’t know where Junior is. They had plans to get married.

Renee still has a lot of problems from the surgery, even after 6 months. She says she “actually has to have reconstructive surgery again to remove all the scar tissue the doctor left. Big mess, big mess.” Angela asks how she picked this doctor? Renee answers, “The doctor was reputable and had no suits against him, but it came out that his sister is a federal prosecutor and his brother in-law a federal judge so they were able to keep things under the rug for so long. He was just found guilty in October of killing a woman who had the same surgery that I did.”

They are ready to end the interview saying they are a little upset they weren’t invited to her party. Renee says she will throw another one.

The Real Housewives of New Jersey: I’ll Just Ignore Her

Teresa Guidice displeased over the news the Wakiles have been invited to bring in the New Year.
The New Year’s Eve celebration at the Brownstone has begun, so has the drama. Guests are arriving. Liquor is flowing. The DJ has the dance floor fist pumpin’ Jersey style. Mama Harley can't wait for The Real Housewives of New Jersey to air tonight!

Teresa's dress looks like she found it on a Nordstrom’s Rack left over prom dress clearance rack.  Jacqueline is 2 layers deep in Spanx.  I am glad to see her and Renee Graziano of Mob Wives have something in common.  Mrs. Laurita is giving Mrs. Santa a run for her reindeer in a red sequined dress.  Do I need glasses?  Is that Liza Minnelli getting to go on stage in Cabaret?  When did Liza dye her hair red?  Oh snap it's Caroline Manzo!  I hoping she did not pay for that hairdo.  And if she did, there should be an unemployed hair dresser in Franklin Lakes.

As Caroline, Jacqueline and Teresa head off to the private room to powder their botoxed little faces all seems wonderful. Until Teresa finds out Caroline ignored her demands and invited Kathy and Richie Wakile.  You know Teresa's evil, holiday inviting cousins. Mrs. Guidice delivers a classic response, "I’ll just ignore her." Yea Riiigghhht Tee, that should be no problem for a refined lady like you.  Check out the clip and let me know what you think!

Will she be able to ignore the one person she blames for ruining her perfectly plotted Christmas with her brother Joe Gorga? Or will the Brownstone have to replace a few flipped tables and chairs?  Catch tonight's episode at 10/9c on Bravo.  Don't forget to vote! Our latest poll on the right at the top.  We love to hear what our readers think!!!!

Mob Wives: Renee a Real G

All right, I'll be the first to admit, I can be a little rough on Renee Graziano of Mob Wives.  As each week passes she grows on me.  I am liking her more and more.  Yes, I know she is so mobmatic.  But when it counts she seems to be real.  She's real with her son A.J. Pagan.  She's real with Carla Facciolo revealing that her dude maybe smirkish.  Something about Renee rings genuine.  Before Chiara, Jeanette and Love boo me, maybe some of the scenes are 'set up'.  Hell maybe all of them are @ the end of the day, I don't care.  Script or no script, I do not believe these women are faking their personalities.  Meatballs and sauce included these four women have major personalities.  For better or worse, I am watching each week until the season ends.

So, Chiara is on this Twitter kick.  I cannot do Twitter.  It's f*cking confusing to me.  I am getting old.  I know how to work the coffee maker and text on my cell phone.  I don't need Twitter in my life.  Anyhow, Chiara caught wind of a Renee Graziano interview with Power 105.1 Breakfast Club thanks to Twitter.  So, I took a listen.  You know Chiara passes on all the work to me that she doesn't want to write. (rolling eyes)  Between you and I, most of it doesn't get written up.  I am lazy like that.  However, I figured I better write something before I'm swimming with the fishes.

The interview turned out to be better than driving behind a truck with mechandise falling off.  A big ups to 105.1  The Breakfast Club for a wonderful interview with Renee Graziano.  Usually we give you a break down of the clip.  However, I think this is one that you should really devote 15 minutes of your free time to. They touch on a lot of the topics that we've touched on in blogs or the comment box. Hey, we've said it a lot around here, "People will be curious of how the Mob Wives afford their lifestyles with locked up husbands and daddies."  We discover we are so not alone.  The interviewers even touch on Anthony Graziano and his not talking to his daughter.  Renee confirms they are not on speaking terms.  Renee does share a message she received from her father:

"I love you.  I always will.  I'll always protect you.  Do what you need to.  But I stand my position. And you can take yours."

I am not going to share all the goodies and tidbits because you all really need to listen for yourselves.  Renee touches on interracial dating, Karen Gravano, Carla Facciolo and Drita D'avanzo (and her marrying Lee).  Click here to listen!

Oh and time is running out on the poll.  You have less than 23 hours before the polls close.  So if you haven't voted for your least favorite, now is the time.  If you have already, THANK YOU!  Chiara has voiced her opinion.  We'd love to hear yours!  As always your participation is appreciated, we want to know what you're thinking too.  Polls are always to your right and a quick scroll up.  TGIF!  (takes two swigs of Thera-Flu)
