Love's history is no surprise to anyone.
Love introduces herself by saying, "I've poisoned people, I've shot them, I stabbed my last boyfriend in front of his mother. It was horrible."
I haven’t spoken to anyone directly regarding the issue of why Love is leaving Mob Wives after one season. There is a lot of speculation, rumor and blame to go around. This story seems to have more than just two sides to it. All indications point to the supposition that Carla allegedly played a role in Love’s departure. Love’s actions may have played a role in her leaving. But, there are also production companies involved like, Just Jenn, Left/Right, Electus, The Weinstein Company and, of course the network itself, VH1. There may be legal issues, contractual issues, production issues all tied together, that I have no knowledge of, nor do I need to. What seems clear at the moment is that Love will not be on the reunion show or in season four, unless something changes.
Tonight we will see the fight between Love and Carla that has been building all season long. Everyone associated with the show, or who is a fan, saw this coming. I don’t know any of the details, but I would stick my neck out and bet that Love was encouraged to confront Carla by producers. Love’s reputation for fighting preceded her appearance on the show. She even talks about her past in the first episodes, so it’s clear to all involved that she has a propensity to act out when provoked. Fighting on the show generates ratings. Ratings generate income and profit. Everyone benefits financially if the show does well, and the show would be picked up for a fourth season. Well, everyone benefits except Love.
Chances are we will not be seeing the entire fight because it will be edited to some degree. The events leading up to the finale fight were about Love being angry that Carla continually talked behind her back. And we know Carla loves gossip about the “word on the street.” There is the issue of “Wing-Gate,” which, if true, has been going on a long time. There has also been a couple or more heated arguments on Twitter between Carla and Love, over the past few months. And finally, Carla’s dating Love’s short-term ex, Handy Man, which is probably a non issue for Love.
I can’t help but wonder if Love was brought on to the show, not only because she is long time friends of Karen and Ramona, but also because of her past history with violence? I have no personal knowledge of this, but I do wonder if production helped to set up this finale fight between Love and Carla? If that is the case, I don’t understand how Love is to blame and allegedly “got fired” for something that was orchestrated behind the scenes. I almost feel that Love’s anger issues were being somewhat encouraged and exploited for the sake of the show and ratings. And, it's my opinion that she may now be the scapegoat for whatever problems were brought on by her following through with the fight at Drita’s party by confronting Carla.
We may never know the whole story and have to draw our own conclusions about what did or didn‘t happen. I don’t know if it’s true, but some speculate that Carla may have threatened to press charges or got a restraining order against Love, in which case Love would not be able to work with Carla. Of all the theories out there, that makes the most sense to me. However, I am very sorry to see Love leave the show. I was looking forward to seeing her next season. I hope things can be resolved so that does happen, but if not, I do wish her the best in all her new projects. As for the reunion, I wish that she would have been given the opportunity to address what happened this season like all the other mob wives. I feel Love was a significant part of season three which is evidenced by their naming four episodes, out of thirteen, about Love: “No Love Lost, Winging It, Crazy Love, and Love Hurts (the title used for Love’s I Married A Mobster episode).
Good luck and best wishes to Love in all her future endeavors! We have not heard the last of her yet!

Don't let the door hit ya where the good Lord spit ya! Good riddance
Love definatley has problems and needs help. Her aggresive, threatening behavior, threatening to stab this person or that is to much. She needs help and i hope she gets it, that kind of 'crazy' should never be rewarded or exploited for ratings. She needs help and i hope she gets it and can find happines and peace.
Love deserved to be kicked off. She brought nothing to this show and always bragged about stabbing people. Most fans are happy she's gone according to mobwives facebook page. Love did this to herself
Love's behavior was shameful and she acted like a typical bully as Big Ang said. For all her tough talk, she went for the hair pulling and quickly disappeared. Carla handled the situation with class and whatever grace she could muster. She also did not back down and stayed, unlike Love. Whoever decided to let Love go probably saw the crazy look in her eyes and realized that even on a show like this, she was too unstable and disturbing. Carla said it well; Love got herself fired and has no one to blame. No 41 year woman should act like that. Junior high school is over.
Glad to see her gone. Love was bad news. The lady needs help not ratings really? She will meet her match one day and hopefully soon. As for Carla she is a well put together and classy women. Glad to see love off the show I was going to stop watching it but now I won't :)
Love is a grown woman. If the producers etc...were provoking her to act like a psychotic, sick in the head, many bolts missing....then she had plenty of time to get herself out of that situation! If they renewed her for season 4 it would be a non issue. The psycho would continue with her demented story line....so in other words I don't feel bad for her!
Bragging about all this nonsense that she has done in her life is just disgusting. It appears that she is a pathological liar....now the audio was off during the fight??? So, that gives you the right to defend the fact that she is an animal attacking Carla? Who does that? Who acts like that? She pulled her hair....how bad ass is that? She could have hit her right in the face....but miss all talk big mouth pulled her hair??? LMAO!!!
I think the show is better off without her! It was really a waste of a season to hear all her BS....it does not take arocket scientist or person with a college education to see how full of crap she is!!!
Good move and good riddance!!!! Yeee hawww!!!
wow......... i total agree love should never be aloud to be on any network again..... its like she not even sorry for the example she is showing females all over the world. bullying...... yes its still bullying........ the reason why children dont wanna go to school... and people all over the world dont wanna work or otherwise..... because of people like that....... scheme on you VH1.... scheme on you
true...... i feel so sad after watching that episode..... scheme on love
I wish Carla left instead of Love : / Carla is booooring
Love isn't shit she is all talk anybody can do that and am sure she would have did some jail time for stabbing..that's why she pulled carla's hair come on though u would brake carla and throw her huh? Love needs a professional help come on she broke her own hand her behavior is out of hand grow up and be a lady the show will do just fine with out love and her drama and the voices in her head lol
Like I said on twitter - good news she got azzed out - the bad news is there might be another season. The show is old now. Time to thinkif something else - oh wait it's realty tv so I'm sure they'll be another dumb show about people acting like AH's on tv for ratings. Love acted like an idiot but haven't all if them at one point or another?
The show is semi scripted and obviously edited to squeeze into a 45 minute time allowance. I feel Renee is ultimately responsible for Love and Carla being pitted against one another since she's the Wife who had/has problems with both women. Killing two birds in one season was a brilliant concept.. without getting her hands" dirty", and resulting with a heroine s status coming to Carla's rescue. It's a shame we are robbed of viewing the elegant side of Love..but you can't keep a good woman down, no?
What (I personally) don't get is after the whole Drita/Karen fiasco and all the girls talking tough, it seemed like Love was singled out. I personally think they should've kept Love and maybe they should document her recovery and get down to why she is the way she is. We all saw Renee and Drita get up from rock bottom....whatever head injury she had on top of some mental illness/disorder she may have, how is she any different from the other wives with their mouths?
I did see some clips of "behind the scenes" with Love and I don't recall her mentioning violence as much as they showed on "Mob Wives".
I just don't get how MW fans are pointing the finger at Love and her history of violence when the whole MW crew is notorious for throwing a haymaker or two.
I actually like Love and Carla. The both make me laugh. Carla is probably one of the classier ones on the show and her hardcore New York accent (she says "you-mans" instead of "humans," come on that's hysterical) is endearing. Love to me is like a larger than life character. An aggressive Big Ang.
That being said, once they actually fought, I thought Love came out looking pretty pathetic. She talked all season about breaking people and putting them in the hospital and she went straight for pulling Carla's hair?!? LAME. A real brawler would have gone in for a punch to the face straight up and held her hair as she uppercut her in the jaw (go back and review Drita's fight with Ramona - Drita socks her in the face immediately). I think Love's brain injury affected her memory because I doubt she fights as well as she seems to think she does.
