I got an invitation the other day from Evolution Boxing. That is the place where Drita went for her boxing lessons to help reduce her aggression. Seems that someone from Evolution read my blog that questioned the premise that boxing actually doesn't reduce aggressive tendencies, but instead tends to increase them. They seem to think otherwise. In fact they explained that it's not the actual physical act of boxing that reduces aggression, but it's the long term training and state of mind that accomplishes this. However, I politely declined their generous offer to take a lesson with Drita's trainer due to the fact that I am not an aggressive person by nature and therefore, I have no aggression to reduce. But, I do appreciate the fact they read the blog and took time to contact me personally and make this offer.
Just in case you think I am kidding, I have copy and pasted the conversation that was had in Twitter.
Check out their website, if you are so inclined, and even though boxing may not be for me, you might enjoy it.
