Just Me Cosmetics has two netrual colors out!
A little over a year ago I had a lovely interview with Drita D’Avanzo in which we spoke of her new cosmetics line. At the time, she envisioned naming her products after her daughters and the special women in her life. Since then she may have gotten some professional marketing advice because she is not sticking with her original thoughts.
Drita is launching her new line at the Staten Island Mall, of all places, right next to the Banana Republic. She is quite proud of the location. Her event is being held August 2nd from 6PM to 8PM and we, at the blog, certainly wish her the very best with this venture.
Now for a little chirping…
All seriousness aside, have you heard of the names of the first two colors she is introducing? The names of her lipsticks are “Pure” and “Goddess,” pictured above. They seem a little pale and neutral to me. I like those colors, but not being a fashionista myself, I have no idea what is “in” or out these days. The event is also being called, “Pure Goddess.” Somehow that doesn’t have an authentic “Drita” ring to it. When I think Drita, I don’t think “pure.” And as for Goddess, I can only imagine they are referring to the Goddess of War.
I hope all Drita’s fans go out to support her on August 2nd and, if you do, please tell her the “cricket” sent you. "Chirp, chirp!"
