Mob Wives: Jenn Graziano Dishes on Season 5

Renee & Jennifer showing some sisterly love!

AfterBuzz TV caught up with Jennifer Graziano, Executive Producer of Mob Wives, to get some insider information on Season 5. Jennifer, a believer in the good old tradition "lifestyle values, picks and chooses her words carefully. The Omerta Code of silence is very much alive. Still, AfterBuzz managed to get her to talk for a good 12 minutes about the show, the cast and other gems. You'll have lots of time to listen to it because there will be no Mob Wives for two weeks, thanks to Christmas and New Year's Eve. the show will resume on January 7th, 2015 and it will be Natalie Donato's debut appearance. Jenn discusses a little about how they "discovered" Natalie and decided to bring her on the show. I gathered from the interview that Victoria Gotti will be meeting Renee and Big Ang for lunch, continuing where we left off in episode three. There is a lot to look forward to! Jenn begins talking at about the 1:43 mark (almost at the very beginning) and continues for 12 minutes. Check this out, you won't be disappointed.

Mob Wives: Karen & Jenn Graziano on Season 5

Karen Gravano and Jennifer Graziano, Executive Producer, discuss Karen's departure and return to the show with Bossip. Fans earnestly requesting Karen's return to the show seems to have played a part in bringing Karen back. Renee, who was more than emotionally exhausted after season 4, is thrilled to have Karen back for season 5. Finally, Renee has someone she can trust 100%.

Best of luck to Jenn Graziano for a very successful season 5. From what I have seen and heard, this promises to be the best season yet. There will be no shortage of drama and a few surprises that have not been sprung. Stay tuned! Watch the premiere of season 5 on Wednesday, December 3rd (tomorrow) on VH1 at 9 PM. As always, we will have recaps and more all season long.

Mob Wives: It's About Passion and Dreams

Graziano Macaroni Company
Launching in a month!

Since before the first show ever aired, we have been blogging about Mob Wives, the cast, the scandals, the crimes, the families etc. But why did we really start this blog? It wasn’t our love for the mafia that started it all, it was our love of writing. Mob Wives gave us an excuse to write blogs and have some fun. Mob Mistress and I have our own unique style of writing, hers being much more colorful than mine. And because we love to write, our blog became very successful in a short amount of time. Not that we were looking for any kind of success, we just wanted to write and needed a subject . . . lucky Jennifer Graziano that we happened upon her show to focus on!

Now when Mob Mistress titled our blog, very wise woman that she is, she did it with the express intention that while we cover Mob Wives, we can always write about anything and everything under the sun. So if you look closely at the title and description at the top, you can see that the subject matter was left wide open for that and the “dots” between “M.O.B.” really stand for “Miserable Often B*tchy” Wives, not Mob Wives.

New York Time Best Seller

Mob Wives, the show and the blog, is not just about a reality television show. Mob Wives is about following your passion and dreams wherever they may lead. I have often heard Jennifer Graziano speak about this in interviews. Jennifer had a love of writing and was doing that for a very long time while pursuing her education and career. She never gave up on her dream of one day getting her ideas on television and even the movies. I know she is constantly busy pursuing other projects while producing Mob Wives, it’s spin offs and products. She is developing a brand for her own empire, as are all the cast members who are also pursuing the things they are passionate about. Jennifer’s newest venture, due to launch in a month, ties in with the recently released cookbook, “How To Use  A Meat Cleaver.” It’s called the “Graziano Macaroni Company,” and it will include many products imported from Italy including pasta, olive oil and sauce (yes, the jar says sauce, not gravy).

Karen is a New York Times best selling author in addition working on numerous other business ventures, Renee has her Mob Candy line and two books, Drita has her make-up store, Carla has her soap and wine lines, and Big Ang has expanded the Drunken Monkey to Brooklyn and Miami, as well as her own line of wines. And, Mob Wives has been picked up for a 5th season!

Renee's Erotic Novel

Big Ang Wines

Carla's Wine

Traditional italian recipes to "die" for!

And what should we take away from all this? I think there is a very positive message here that we can all learn from. When you follow your dreams and do what you are passionate about, you can make them a reality. Mob Wives only aired for the first time three years ago and look now many things have grown out of it. Jennifer had a vision and she didn’t let anything get in her way. She believed in herself. She told herself she could do this and she went out and made it happen. Mob Wives is a means to an end that all started because a young girl loved to write and really believed that one day something would come out of all her words. I don’t think there is a limit to what Jenn can and will do. But more important than what I think, is what Jenn thinks, and Jenn thinks the sky’s the limit.

Best of Luck Jennifer on the Graziano Macaroni Company and I look forward to see what else you have “cooking” in development.

Mob Wives: Renee & Jenn Answer Show Questions!

Renee & Jenn Team Up for show questions!

Another long interview, over an hour long to be exact, of the Graziano sisters by AfterBuzz TV focusing on the show. The first thing they do is tease Renee about the word "delicious!" Just when you think we are done with it, it rears it's ugly head again. But, Renee wields her little meat cleaver and implies she will use it! There is a big discussion about the word and Renee explains her point of view. So the interviewer wants to know why Renee wasn't bothered when Natalie sang her song at the book party. Renee says Natalie is a joke and Jenn adds by then Renee was over it and didn't want to cause a scene because it was her night. Renee explains there we things behind the scenes we didn't see that also added to the escalation of the issue.

At one point Renee says, "F*ck Al Capone" and
Jenn's expression is priceless!

So many topics were touched on in detail including: Renee's addiction and recovery, the jealousy of the Philly girls coming in season 4, production "amping up" the new girls to create drama, how Renee believes new production instigated a situation between her and Alicia, Renee's real feelings about Alicia, Alicia dragging her name into her business and false accusations, Renee's relationship with Eddie, their father Anthony Graziano, Junior and abuse, Drita's outburst on the Reunion and her theory about it, how she is hurt and disappointed in Drita, other shows and projects and so much more. When you have the time watch the interview, it's actually better than the show!

Mob Wives: Jenn Graziano Finally Answers Questions!

Jennifer, looking lovely, as always

Jennifer Graziano, Executive Producer and Creator of Mob Wives, was interviewed by AfterBuzz TV this week. She doesn't do interviews often so I was surprised to see this 30 minute interview that answered some of viewers burning questions. She tells us how her passion for writing and desire to be involved in television lead to her success with Mob Wives and her association with VH1. She explains how she chose the Original Girls for season one. As for having her sister, Renee, on the show she says when it involves Mob Wives, she is Renee's boss and treats her like everyone else. She answers some questions I had and you'll have to watch to find out what she says about things like...

Why didn't she send Renee home from Vegas when it was obvious she was in trouble?

Is there backlash from the mob or community from the show?

Jenn finally tells us WHY weren't Carla and Karen in season 4?

How has this situation affected her friendships with Karen, Ramona, Love and Carla?

She discusses Renee fighting on the Vegas trip and Alicia's sentencing.

Where did she find Natalie and how is she "related" to the mob?

What about any more spin offs for other cities or cast members?

What other projects does she have going on?

When does season 5 film and air?

Is Karen coming back?

Is Natalie gone?

Will there be new cast members in Season 5?

Mob Wives: Up Close & Personal with Lana, Renee and Jennifer Graziano

Monmouth, New Jersey Book Signing!

As blog "MobChef," I had the pleasure of chatting with Lana about her collaboration in the cookbook "How To Use a Meat Cleaver." Lana co-wrote the book with her two sisters, Renee and Jennifer. Lana, the elder of this thriving threesome, certainly has shared her passion for cooking in this book. She has owned and operated a few restaurants and she says she worked hands on and did everything herself. Lana's cooking style comes from her Italian roots and claims she is old-school. She is currently looking for a prime location to open a new restaurant with her sisters. Here are a few questions I asked:

Lana Graziano

Thanks for taking the time out to chat with me. It looks like “How To Use a Meat Cleaver” is getting a great response.  Congratulations.

Tell me, what region of Italy did your family come from, and are the recipes from there?

We came from Sicily, from the region known as Sciacca, pronounced "Shaka."

Who was the most influential person who taught you to cook?

That would be my grandmother Nora. I learned a lot from her at a young age.

What motivated you to write a cookbook?

I wanted to take my love of cooking and share it with everyone.

I know Jennifer mentioned that you, being the older sister, cooked for her and Renee when they were younger. Did you teach them to cook?

Yes, when I was younger and I babysat my sisters, I would tell them to help with whatever meal I was making. As they got older they would often ask me how do you make this dish or that dish, and it went on from there.

If there’s one recipe everyone should try, which one would it be?

I have so many that I love, but I think the Sunday gravy fulfills everybody from the meatballs to the pasta.

What did you find most challenging about writing the cookbook?

The most challenging thing was having to figure out how much of everything was needed when it came to ingredients because I do everything by eye and taste.

Who will "whack" that filet mignon?

What recipe is your personal favorite?

My stuffed filet mignon. I think it's because you can get really creative. Other than the breadcrumb mixture you can make it with mozzarella or without, you can add mushrooms or spinach, really it's to your personal liking and it will always be tasty. I promise.

Tell me about how food has influenced your life.

I center food around my whole life. Everyday I think about what I'm gonna make and who is coming for dinner. I love company and family all getting together.

As the most private of the Graziano sisters can you tell me something that the fans may not know about you?

I'm a very simple person, I love my family and friends, and really love to cook.

Jennifer mentioned you owned a few restaurants and the lines were out the door; I grew up in a restaurant so I am always curious about other experiences. Tell us about that...

I'm now looking into opening my next restaurant along with my sisters. That's something I would love to do again so my fans can come in, eat, and be merry.

Is there anything you would like to add that we haven't discussed?

Something I would love to add is:  I'm so very proud of both of my sisters. Renee for her sharing herself with everyone whether it was good or bad because I know she has helped a lot of people out there. I would've to see more of her funny side, that's the side I Iove. I get the biggest kick out of her. And Jenn well I'm amazed at her how she has become this successful business woman and how much she has accomplished. I'm truly speechless.

Thanks so much!
Carmela

**********

"Meat" the Graziano sisters!

I got to attend the book signing in New Jersey on Thursday, February 6th, where the girls got one on one with the audience. Clearly they sat in sibling birth order. I say that because Lana was reserved while Renee proved her ownership of  being the middle-child. She brought her huge personality with her and is just as we see her on Mob Wives. Jennifer, who is usually quiet, sat and tried to make her points, but Renee usually ended her sentences. Jennifer says Renee aggravated her as a kid, but she found some ways to get back at her. For example, they treated their food as a test of loyalty. Jennifer hid a meatball for herself and Renee found it. While she attempted to eat it, Jennifer stabbed her. Well Renee says stabbed and Jennifer says "it was only a fork."  Another time, Jennifer got even smarted and took a spoon, heated it over a candle and burned Renee with it. They share such great memories of their childhood that came from sitting at the table eating.  These are the memories that stay with you. I asked Jenn which recipe from the book was hers and she said, the "stuffed artichokes." "Sure," Renee said, "everything is yours." We all had a laugh. Jenn said they are hers, she tweaked the recipe. The girls went on to talk about the inspiration that came from their grandmother, Nora. Learning the basics from their mom, Veronica, and they even talk about their father's cooking. Mom cooked the basics like meatloaf, mashed potatoes and stew, while dad jarred his own caponata and made gravy (yes, I said it) from tomatoes that he boiled. Very old school to say the least.

Jennifer Graziano

The group asked about the show whether or not it was staged. Jennifer answered by saying that the production talks to the girls, looks for things that will get the audience's attention, they clear the location and then whatever happens happens. Renee talked about her Mob Candy line and said it's doing excellent. They asked if Natalie was still the model for it, and the answer was flat out NO! Someone asked if we would be seeing any of the other Mob Wives again. Jenn said, Ramona, no; Carla & Love, no and Karen, well it's a possibility. I was especially interested in the last part of this comment and hoped that the possibility becomes a reality. Jennifer talked about a new business they are embarking on, The Graziano Macaroni Company, that will feature foods and wine.

The cookbook holds lots of old Italian recipes, some with a modern-day twist. The Graziano family is from Sicily, as is my family, so our styles are very similar. I will try some of these recipes and blog them.  I hope you all got your own copy so you can enjoy their style of cooking from their home to yours.

Congrats to the Graziano sisters. I wish you all continued success.

Mob Wives Saving Lives Photos!

Toni Marie Ricci and Karen Gravano

Did you miss last night's event? If you did you missed a huge opportunity to meet a few of your favorite Mob Wives! Many of the Mob Wives were hosting this event and raising money for victims of Sandy. We were lucky to get some pictures of those who were present for a cause that close to all their hearts. I am sharing what I have with our readers and maybe we will get some insight into season three (lol chirp) from who was and wasn't there. I learned from Twitter that Renee Graziano was not well and unable to attend. Michael Bell donated a piece of his artwork for the fund raiser and some of the Mob Wives autographed it. Joe Ferragmo was there with his lovely girlfriend. Toni Marie refers to Joe as a real "gentleman" and his girlfriend "a doll." I love Joe's white, fresh, crisp shirt!

It looks to me like everyone had a great time for a good cause. Maybe they filmed some of the event for season three of the show and we can get a better idea of what went on? I wouldn't be surprised.

Mob Wives Chicago: Jenn Talks About Finale!

What's brewing in the Windy City?

Loyal readers know I have written about Jennifer Graziano before. The woman is an enigma to me. I'm fascinated about what goes on in her mind 24/7. When you meet her, her demeanor is a little on the serious side. She takes her business very seriously. At the same time, you can get the sense she is studying you to figure out who you are and what are your intentions. So, believe me when I say that it's not easy to get any information out of her at all. If the Omerta code of silence still exists, it's deeply instilled in Jennifer.

Jennifer seems calm and reserved on the surface, which makes my brief conversation with her very surprising. I happened to call her one day while she was at the filming of the Mob Wives Chicago Finale. She only had a minute, but it was the first time I had actually heard Jennifer so excited. She tells me she is at the finale of Mob Wives Chicago and, "It's on FIRE!" That's a direct quote. I press her for details, hoping she will leak something in her excitement, but all she will say is, "We are once again making reality TV history!" That sounds pretty powerful coming from Jennifer Graziano herself, who was there to see it all happen. She had to get back to the filming, so I couldn't get another thing out of her.

I know that some fans are saying that they are finding it a little hard to get into Mob Wives Chicago. It's a little difficult to get used to new women, new accents and a new city. But, it sounds like there is going to be a lot to look forward to coming up, and that's from Jennifer's own lips. I am going to stick it out and see what the rest of the season holds in store for us. How about you?

Mob Wives: Jennifer Graziano Wins An EMMY?

This year will be the 64th Primetime Emmy Awards honoring the outstanding shows on television. I believe that Jennifer Graziano deserves this year's Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Reality Television Show.  After watching the last two episodes of Mob Wives, I have come to the conclusion that Mob Wives is the one show that puts the “reality” into Reality Television. I have seen other housewives shows and walked away shaking my head wondering why people tune in every week. I have even stopped to blog about the "Real" Housewives of New York in the past, not out of enthusiasm or interest in the show, but because they seem to be so popular. I actually did a blog comparing the “Real” Housewives of New York to the Mob Wives. Our Mob Wives put all the “Real” Housewives shows to shame. Their incessant petty arguments are pretty unreal.

I’ll admit that my lack of interest in watching any of the Bravo franchise shows puts me at a great  disadvantage in making a strong argument, and I certainly cannot be objective. I don’t apologize for being a fan of Mob Wives either. Mob Wives is my sinful pleasure. However, I did go to someone who I consider to be an bonafied expert on the Bravo "Real" Housewives shows, Stoopid Housewives, and asked her about her thoughts as to the “reality” of the "Real" Housewives versus Mob Wives. The Stoopid Housewives blog covers everything related to all the real housewives shows, all day, every day. She basically told me that we would never see anything that “real” on Bravo. Bravo would edit anything “real” to death and spread it out over three or four episodes.  Our Twitter exchanges on the subject are shown above, and then she tweeted this gem:

Given what Stoopid Housewives said during our brief exchange, I am more convinced than ever that Jennifer Graziano's Mob Wives deserves an Emmy nomination, at the very least. This year’s Emmy Award ceremony will air on September 23rd, 2012. So what can we, as fans do, to help get Mob Wives nominated this year? That’s what I need to know! All I could find out is that we can tweet the Television Academy @PrimetimeEmmys and let them know Mob Wives and Jennifer Graziano need to be on the nomination ballots for 2012!

What do you say? Will you do your part and make this dream a reality? If the show and Jenn win an Emmy it is sure to keep them on the air a lot longer! Follow @PrimetimeEmmys and try to tweet them once a day. If we all do it who knows what can happen?

Mob Wives: Carla F*cks Herself Video

Carla Facciolo of Mob Wives preparing to make her exit.
First, I have to thank an Anonymous commenter for linking us to this delightful clip of Renee Graziano of Mob Wives letting loose on Carla Facciolo after an interview.  I wasn't there but it seems all was well during an interview with Esktra Bladet, an Danish newspaper.  After the interview all hell broke loose with two of our favorite Mob Wives coughs 1 of our favorite MobWives.

"I got something to say to you anyway. So you might as well get the fuck out." ~Renee

"Bye... She mad at me again?" ~Carla

"No." ~I think Jennifer

"Like, like I'm going to punt you like a football, get the fuck out." ~Renee

"Me?" ~a confused Carla

"Get out!" ~a pissed off Renee

"Renee go fuck yourself!  That's what goes on in this show.  Seriously, I'm not even..." ~Carla

We hear Jennifer & Renee Graziano's heels clackety clacking as they both make their way in Carla Facciolo's direction.  Big sister seems to be trying to punt Carla like a football.  Little sister as if Usain Bolt impedes Renee's attack on Mrs. Facciolo.  During the commotion, I can't make out clearly what is being said.  I hear, "I'll kill you!  You want to do things....press... I got press here...with your bipolar...."  Watch the video below:

For those who believe the Mob Wives sip tea & eat crumpets with one another when cameras aren't rolling, I disagree.  I do not believe all the women get along outside of the show.

I love me some Renee Graziano.  Lord knows I do.  She was so wrong for going after Carla.  I get that she was upset. She believed Carla allegedly had been making some slick comments in regards to her being bipolar.  Renee, Renee who threatens & goes after someone with witnesses & the cameras rolling?  Oh I forgot Mob Wives!

If Jennifer hadn't been there I think feisty Carla would've fucked herself.  Renee was pissed & wasn't having it.  On a positive note, the filler bitch Carla looked extremely cute in her hat & fur.  You think she'll let me borrow her fur?  Don't miss Mob Wives, it airs Sundays @ 8PM on VH1.  Oh where oh where is my Joshy?!  Special shout out to Roann, Rosey, Eva, @taiesha26, @marie_pimentel, @Skillzz, @TWEETPOLICE, @Lizzard89 and @NoShiz80.

Mob Wives: My View of Jennifer Graziano

The Executive Producer & Creator of Mob Wives

I’ve met Jennifer Graziano briefly, about three times. We only exchanged a few words each time. But, in those brief exchanges I feel like I picked up a few things about her. I could be totally wrong. I could be off base. I am flying by the seat of my pants, going by my intuition and not much else, but this is how I see her.

Jennifer has beautiful, hazel eyes, but what goes on behind those eyes is anyone’s guess. When I look at her, I can almost see her mind working, like the inside of an exquisite Swiss timepiece. When she is out socializing, having a good time with friends, you can still see the machinery of her mind at work. I get the distinct impression that she a shrewd business woman who deliberates over every decision she has to make, from the biggest issues down to the smallest detail, concerning her business. She doesn’t leave anything to chance. She is in control and she likes it that way. I sense that she prefers to remain in the background, not share the limelight with her cast. She is not an attention seeker. People seek her out. She is reserved and thoughtful. Yet she has a great sense of humor and knows how to have a good time. She is intriguing. You can’t help, but be interested in what is going on inside her thought process and what she is planning next, at any given moment. She has an air of mystery about her. Maybe it comes from the code of silence that she grew up with, which now carries over to her business dealings. She is cautious. I don’t see her as being very trusting, but rather as reserving her trust for her few, closest confidants. She grants interviews, but she does so sparingly. She doesn’t like to reveal too much, just enough to satisfy inquisitive minds . She has become very successful in a very short time and still comes across as down to earth and real. I have to say that I really find her fascinating. Some day I hope to have a nice little chat with Jennifer Graziano and get a better sense of who she is and if she ever lets her guard down.

Jennifer Graziano is the brains behind Mob Wives. It’s her baby, her brain child. She created it. She wrote it. She pitched her idea and sold it. The show Mob Wives is a new, overnight sensation. Now everyone wants to hop on the Mob Wives bandwagon and they can’t do it fast enough. But none of the other networks have Jennifer Graziano on their team…or do they? With Jennifer, you just never know.

P.S. Jennifer Graziano, please let me know how I close I came to the truth. Thank you.

Mob Wives: Jennifer Graziano Speaks on Season 2 & New Faces!

Goin' to the prom Jennifer Graziano in black & Karen Gravano in white.
Fudge my usual blah, blah, blah I'm just going to go straight to The Mob Wives Blogspot Interview.  If you weren't on the line with Jennifer Graziano and I:  do not reprint any part of this interview unless you run Stoopid Housewives.  I love that site.  The foot massage loving Jennifer was gracious enough to share some back in the day pictures of Karen Gravano, Ramona Rizzo and herself.  Can we all say it together?  "Aqua Net!"  It truly doesn't take a scientist to clue us in on what really happened to the Earth's ozone.

The interview begins.

Hello Jennifer, you ready?
Yes, I'm ready.
First we need to discuss some new developments for season 2 of Mob Wives.   Several canaries told me Ramona Rizzo is firecracker.  I want you to tell me how you’d describe her.
They stole my word.
What?
They stole my word.  That's exactly how I describe Ramona; a firecracker.  She scares some people.  If you don't know her she can come across b!tchy.  She's strong willed & tells you like it is.  (I think, 'Oh yeah I'm going to like Ramona Rizzo.')  I've known  her since I was 12 or 13 years old.  With Ramona it's like peeling back layers of an onion.  I've known her for so many years and just now I am starting to see her softer side.
<><> <><> <><>
Mall rats Karen & Ramona
We at The Mob Wives Blogspot know she’s a longtime friend.  We all love our friends.  Tell us why you think she’s a perfect fit for Mob Wives.
Ramona has a great background in the lifestyle.  She knows it.  She's lived it.  She fits in with the cast whether it's good or bad relationships.  I wanted authentic relationships with the cast.  So I wanted the new faces to be women they knew.  The only one Ramona didn't know was Carla (Facciolo).  I wanted to turn it up for season 2 of Mob Wives.
What would someone have to watch out for when dealing with Ramona?
Do not mess with her kids, loved ones and friends.  Don't get ink on her Gucci.  As a matter of fact do not mess up any of her precious goods.
I make a mental note: Do not mess with The Riz's Gucci.  We have a Mob Wives Meter a.k.a. Drama Meter.  Renee your sister is at the top of our meter, next is Drita, then Karen and at the bottom is Carla.  Where should we put Ramona?
That's a tough one.  She can go from level Renee to Karen at anytime.  She's never at level Carla.  Ramona definitely adds more drama to Mob Wives Season 2.

I can only imagine the mayhem these two caused.
Chiara met her awhile back.  Chiara really likes her.  She mentioned Ramona's eyes tell her she's not one to mess with.  Do you agree?
Oh yeah, she'll stare right through you.  She doesn't like drama or fighting.  She'd prefer to keep it moving and ignore a person.  Sometimes you need to stand your ground.  She will definitely stand her ground.  A little known secret is she's big softy.
By the end of season 1 of Mob Wives many viewers saw the division of the women.  There was Team Drila and then Team Handy Man Groped Us.  Can you tell us which team Ramona leans toward?
Well just the fact that she refers to Karen as her cousin & family tells you which team...  Oh one more thing Ramona has a very sharp tongue. (Oh boy, I am loving Ramona before I even see her on the small screen.)

Recently I got word that there was allegedly some tension behind the scenes and we could lose one of our original beloved or not so beloved Mob Wives.  Can you elaborate or give me a hint who it was?
No, it was totally false.

Per request I blurred out the dude in the white shirt, he looked mighty familiar!
I don't know about that one.  I have love and respect for Jennifer.  I know an executive producer got to do and say what she has to, LOL.  Okay, can we talk about the other new face joining the Mob Wives’ cast?
She hasn't been revealed yet.  We're keeping it under wraps.  I can tell you; she's hysterically funny.  She's definitely a big character.  The Mob Wives' viewers are going to get a kick out of her. We now know it's Big Ang!

Alrighty let’s change gears a bit.  What’s going down in the Windy City?
We're gearing up to start production in two weeks (date of interview November 29, 2011).  They have great, great, great backgrounds in the lifestyle. The lifestyle is embedded in them. They're different from the New York cast.

<><> <><> <><>
Besides the region, what’s different about Mob Wives Chicago?
They're not as fast & quick as the Mob Wives of New York.  They're more laid back.  Don't get it twisted it's a group of women which equals plenty of drama.
How many Mob Wives can we expect to see?
4 maybe 5 Mob Wives

I cannot wait!  You know I am Team Karen and Team Renee.  And I like Carla when I talk to her on the phone.  She tickles the shit out of me when she tells me off.  Jennifer laughs.
You knowing my Mob Wife taste who would you predict to be my favorite?
One of the women is really a mixture of Renee, Drita and Carla.

What?!
I know it's an abnormality.  She is a mix of those 3 women.

And you think she's going to be my favorite?
She laughs.  Yes, look out for the blond.

Some lovely women from Chicago.
I am perplexed, what a mixture!  We’re really excited about Mob Wives Chicago.  We want to know what makes you excited about Mob Wives Chicago?
I love the city.  I love the women! The structure and the history of the lifestyle in Chicago is extremely interesting.  I'm excited to be growing the (Mob Wives) franchise.  I know you all blog about my traveling to Chicago, Miami and L.A.  When I travel to Los Angeles ladies it for a totally different show, I'm working on.

She told us didn't she!?  One of are favorite readers Miss Crop609 feels like you and the production team treat Philadelphia like the sixth borough of New York.  She feels Philadelphia is equally rich in mob history.  Is there a chance for Mob Wives Philly?
It's on my list of possibilities for the franchise.  The city works.  You have to remember the cast has to work too.  The cast needs to pop!  So if I have the city and find a great cast it's a possibility.

If not a Mob Wives Philly, can we get a Biker Chicks featuring the wives and girlfriends of those allegedly in the biker gangs?
She really laughs. Pretty funny, sure why not!

Can Chiara and I get job?  We have skills and lots of good ideas.
She laughs again.  I'll look into that.

I need her to look into that.  Chiara and I are forces to be reckoned with.  Can we get a job?!
Before you go one last question; how was your Thanksgiving?
It was good.  I ate everything!

What did you eat?
The usual my mom's candied yams, stuffed artichoke, dressing, cranberry sauce and turkey.
<><> <><> <><>
Homemade cranberry sauce, yum yum!

Was the cranberry sauce canned or from scratch?
From scratch and a special friend brought over some oven-baked macaroni 'n' cheese, candied yams and some other food.  It was really good too!

I know which friend.
You don't know this friend.

Oh really, I am going to have to put my sources to work.  I laugh.

The interview ends.

Jennifer Graziano as always is entertaining to interview.  She's always on her toes with me.  She's sharp.  She never says more than she wants to give me.  I always wait for her to give me a bit too much.  I have a feeling I'll be collecting social security and still waiting for the creator & executive producer of Mob Wives to slip up.  Not that it matters to the youngest child of Ronnie & Anthony Graziano, but I so like the way she carries herself.  She's a smart & tough cookie.

I ask Jennifer for an interview with Ramona Rizzo.  She gives me the okay.  Later that night I interview the newest member of the Mob Wives cast.  I think I'm going to love her in Mob Wives' action.  The Ramona Rizzo interview will be up next week.  She gave me the best pictures.  I can't wait to share them with all of you!  If you don't stop back by until 2012 Chiara, Underboss, Harley and I wish you a Happy New Year .  A special shout out to Joshy, Barbara of Unique Roses, Stephen, Annette & Rburbank2! Do NOT forget to vote in our latest Mob Wives Poll.  As always it's a quick scroll up and to the right of the page.  Are you excited about the new faces coming season 2 of Mob Wives?

Mob Wives: Gym Rats

Before I get on my blog grind, I want to give a shout out to Barb!  Barb is one of our readers who enjoys my foolishness.

I've been dropping the medicine ball around here as of late.  Chiara has sh!t to take care of; Underboss has a stressful career; Isabella is missing in blog action; and Harley is probably on a back of a Hog with her blond tresses blowing in the wind.  I love the blog.  I love most of our readers.  There is one or two of you who'd I'd love to knock on my door.  I have a special gift for you.  Moving along, The Mob Wives Blogspot isn't going to get me my Mahina XL bag.  So, I've been working up a storm to make it happen by the end of this year.

Apparently Renee Graziano of Mob Wives is a lot less superficial than I.  She isn't worried about scoring her dream bag.  She's hitting a bag in the gym, I hear Junior is giving her boxing lessons.  Can you imagine that lady with that mouth and a mean right hook?!  What a minute is Junior getting his ex-wife all delicious and toned up for mystery man?   *scratching head*  Oh these folks confuse the hell out of me!

One has to wonder if Carla Facciolo's skinny salad eating @ss is rubbing off on these ladies.  She is the original gym rat of the Mob Wives.  I ain't mad @ Carla!  As I've written time & time again,  she looks darn good for her age.

If the Mob Wives all get toned and in shape, the show's title may have to be renamed Staten Island Sticks.  I was going to do a Zumba workout before I put in on my husband.  However, reading the gym tweets tired me out.  So instead I am going to put myself to sleep eating a bag of Lay's potato chips as I listen to 'Eye of the Tiger'.

Oh yeah before I slip in to a Lay's induced coma there is a new poll up!  Please vote on how many new faces you'd like to see season 2 of Mob Wives.  As always it's a quick scroll up and to your right, thank you!

Mob Wives: Karen Gravano Greys It Like It's Hot

Mob Wives' BFFs getting hugged my somebody Yum Yum!
Recently, Karen Gravano of Mob Wives allowed me to chat her up.  She has no idea how much I like her swag.  It's not a false swag.  It's not a I'm going to beat everyone's @ss swag.  It's not I am going to fake it for the cameras swag.  It's I'm Karen Gravano you like me or you don't swag.  The world is round either way.

I reached out to Karen for blog related business.  I had questions for the attractive, cautious Mob Wife.  First, "Where the hell were you in the picture with Jennifer Graziano? I NEED TO KNOW!"  Karen was gracious as always and told my nosey behind.  She and the executive producer of Mob Wives were at The Colosseum Nightclub and Lounge located in Scranton, Pennsylvania.  I am old and need a hearing aid.  I couldn't make out Scranton for the life of me.  As I was writing this blog I was thinking, 'what city was that again?  Hartboro...'  Yes, I am forgetful too.

The Mob Wives cast has got to learn that in spite of whatever opinion we have of them; we are here for our readers.  Some of our readers would like to know about their appearances in various states.  So the Mob Wives fan can show up & support their beloved Mob Wives if they're in the readers' local area.  I am telling you now if Jennifer Graziano is in my area, I am showing up with resume in hand.  "Yo Jennifer I need a career move!  Look at what I do for free, imagine what I could do on payroll!  And one more thing Jennifer, you have the most courteous and professional assistant ever.  I adore him."

You know I try to be all up into the Mob Wives' Kool-Aid.  You best believe I know each of their flavors too.  So I ask Karen what went down that night August 6, 2011 @ the Colosseum.  She shared that she dropped it like it's hot.  My knees ached at the thought.  But I ain't mad @ Miss Gravano for getting her groove and Grey Goose & soda on!

You know I am a tenderoni perv too.  So I had to ask, "Who is the dude in the photo with you and Jenn?"

"Uncle Mone-E"

"Uncle Money?"

"Uncle Mone-E"

"Huh?"

"Mistress just call him Mone."

I know Karen meant Mone which is short for Ramone.  But I heard moan.  As if he can moan my name!  He don't look like no uncle to me.  He looks like a Daddy!  Y'all thought old men had the corner market on perv, you have no idea what this old gal is made of.

Karen was tight lipped about the going ons of season 2 of Mob Wives.  You think Jennifer Graziano made her take an omerta on top of a confidentiality agreement?  Miss Gravano wasn't snitching a detail to her #1 Team Karen blogger.  (Joshy of Team Renee isn't the only one who can be number one at something.) Well I am a blogger and we aren't exactly known for keeping secrets.  So I am not going to hold it against her.  She did tell me that season 1 doesn't have nothing on season 2 of Mob Wives.  We're going to see new faces and all the mob mess of old & new drama.  Karen really made me feel like Pookie (a crackhead in the gangster movie New Jack City)!  I guess she doesn't understand that I am a Mob Wives junkie.

Don't forget to vote in our poll, Chiara gave us a dosey!  She kills me around here.  It only takes a few seconds for you to read it & vote.  You know the drill.  It's a quick scroll up and to your right.  I've voted now it's your turn.  Your opinion matters to us.  I want to see Lana Graziano Zanococchio!  Don't mind me I am just typing out loud.

Mob Wives: Season 1 Finale Party at Pacha, NYC

Yesterday, the Mob Wives celebrated Season 1’s Finale of the show at Pacha NYC in Manhattan. There, to report on the events, was Kiawana Rich from Silive.  All four wives were at the event along with many guests and family. Among those attending were Junior Pagan, Jennifer Graziano’s son, Justin, AJ’s girlfriend, Sydney.

Ti Ti Renee with her dapper nephew Justin, son of Jennifer Graziano
The show has been a big hit from day one. However it was not so popular with the residents of Staten Island, who feel it portrays them in a bad light. I don’t agree with that stance. There is no particular group in New York City that defines the whole city or any section of the city. We are as big of a melting pot as there is going to be in this country. If anything, maybe the residents should be thanking the Mob Wives for advertising many of the businesses on their show and drawing public interest to their establishments? They just may be putting Staten Island on the map.

In any case, it looks like it was a huge celebration, as it should be, for it’s not only the end of a successful Season 1 of Mob Wives.  It's a beginning of another season to look forward to, the building of an international viewership.  We can't forget also the possible growth of Mob Wives franchise with p the addition of other city spin-offs.  There is really a lot to celebrate!  Click here to read Kiawana Rich's hands on repost of the Mob Wives wrap up party. Check out the video and let us know what you think?
