Mob Wives: Recap Reunion Show Season Four, Ep 413

A view of the set

“Just when you thought you were out, they pull you back in.” Great quote to start off the show, especially when the sneak peek that was released gave us the impression Drita was going to attack Renee and flip tables. That really didn’t happen.

The New Blood Reunion Show, is hosted by Sherri Shepherd, who says tonight we are breaking bread rather than breaking faces. They did neither. All the ladies are seated around a dinner table with Sherri at the head of the table, asking the questions. They had to get a comedian to host the show because season four was a joke. The whole season is a flip-flopping tennis match! They say one thing one minute and the next the opposite!

Sherri asks Alicia about court and the sentencing. She is being sentenced, she isn’t being sentenced. Alicia says she cannot be sentenced until the restitution issue is settled, but she says there is no date. It’s been reported it was postponed till March. How convenient is that…right between seasons! And what about the big “to be continued…” at the end of the finale? That was very misleading when they already had some answers about what went on in court in January. They tried to make it look like she was sentenced to five years and a million dollar fine the way everyone was “acting.” The New York Post is on it, we will find out as soon as anything happens with regard to this issue.

Moving on to Natalie. Sherri points out that, at first, Renee liked Natalie and called her a mini-me. Renee said she called her a mini-me because Natalie is outspoken and then they have to go and rehash the “delicious” issue yet again! I feel that word has burned a hole in all our brains. Renee gets pissed all over again about it like it just happened. But wait a minute, didn’t she just laugh about it in the finale when Natalie sang the song at her book party, and they hugged afterwards? Which is it, is she over it or not? Sherri wants to know what’s the big deal about that word. Renee says it was rude. Renee says she doesn’t think Natalie was hitting on her man, but it was disrespectful. Natalie still doesn’t feel she did anything wrong and Renee says she is done with Natalie and the "delicious" conversation. Thank you God. Amen.

Renee confronts Natalie

Next topic is the ladies trip to sin city, Las Vegas, for a vacation. Sherri asks why Renee was acting out like that. Renee says she relapsed in her addiction with alcohol and anti-depressants. Sherri says that’s not the best place to take someone who has addiction issues (ya think?) and wants to know who takes responsibility for that. Naturally, no one does because this trip was probably cooked up by the production team as part of the script. The fact they allowed this to go on for three episodes was really overkill! But, where else can Renee get unlimited liquor and go crazy for the camera? Didn’t anyone have a clue something wasn’t right with Renee? Anyway, Natalie questions Renee’s recovery and Renee immediately gets pissed. She doesn’t want Natalie to talk about her recovery. Renee yells and screams at Natalie because she doesn’t believe Natalie ever cared about her or her recovery. I thought I heard Renee say Natalie even gave her cocaine, but I have to confirm this because things were being bleeped out. I check with @Tweetpolice to see if I am hearing things, she says no and sends me the video tape! Renee says, “You don’t give a f*ck about my recovery, if you did why would you get high with me?…don’t pretend to care about me and then give me the f*ckin’ cocaine or the pills!”

Sherri looks like “what the hell did I get myself into?” Renee says she is done with Natalie. Renee says she is embarrassed by her own behavior, she never picks her hands up, but she just snapped after being antagonized for 45 minutes. She is not proud of it and it’s out of character for her. That wasn’t her, she is 100% sorry that she put her hands on Natalie, but she was under the influence. Natalie was surprised by the headlock. Alicia hasn’t said a word so far, hmmmm. Natalie says, on the contrary, Renee was antagonizing her, she was in her face. Renee starts crying. Renee feels humiliated. Drita says while Renee was wrong, she has an illness. Renee says the girls were laughing and joking about her issues. Renee found it hurtful. Drita says it was hurtful to the rest of them too. Ang says they are over it, Renee has been great ever since.

"What the hell did I get myself into?

So far Sherri has survived. Moving on to happy Drita. Sherri brings up the way Lee talks to her in such a disrespectful way, and Drita says we only hear one side of the conversation. Drita defends the way Lee talks to her by saying she talks to him that way too. Isn’t that sweet? I think we have been hearing both sides of the conversation and Lee is definitely verbally abusive. In any case, I hope they don’t carry on this way in front of the girls. Drita says she bonded with Alicia. Drita gave Lee and second chance. Drita is doing a rap song with Method Man. Her house is renovated and she opened a second store…everything is coming up roses. Notice how no one asked her about the “stalker” or Aleeya’s “bully,” the two “real issues” in her life? If that was me, those things would concern me most, but I’m not a Mob Wife.

On to Ang and her baby storyline. Can I get a big eye roll? First she is having a baby, then she isn’t. Of course the baby thing isn’t happening. It was never happening! Ang lists all the events in the family. Two grandchildren coming, a wedding, an engagement. Ang says she is going through “the change” and a baby is more or less the last thing on her mind. You know what? The “change” is usually a 7 year process and I’m sure it just didn’t happen this season since she is 54. That just adds to the absurdity of this storyline, if that is even possible! I can’t believe viewers are buying into these things.

The famous "coke whore" tweet

On to Natalie’s disrespectful TWEETS. Natalie called Renee a “f*ckin’ coke whore.” Renee is pissed. Yeah, we just saw the tape where Renee says Natalie gave her coke and got high with her.” Alicia finally speaks up and says Natalie was defending her in the tweets. Like that makes it okay? Natalie says anyone can tweet anything they want. She says Renee has tweeted bad things too. Renee answers nothing as bad as Natalie. Renee is upset and says she doesn’t care about if for herself, but she says these things hurt her son. Renee wants her to apologize to her AJ. Natalie says no, she didn’t do anything to him. Renee says Alicia has her own big mouth and can defend herself. Natalie says she knows she was wrong and is sorry.

Boss B*tch is back. Renee has been seeing a therapist and getting back to her old self, and in the process she wrote a “sex” book, “Playing With Fire.” Renee says she got another letter from Junior, after the one we saw on the show. She says he wasn’t exactly out of prison, but he was being transferred to Brooklyn for another case. She is upset and afraid and she just wants to live and have peace. They just want him to go away. Now for the sex book, Sherri wants to know if it’s about her life. Renee says some of it is, but there’s a lot of fiction in it and it comes out April 8th. This is actually one of the “real” things that happens this season!

Oh, oh woe is me, poor, poor pitiful me"
she is even looking like Linda Ronstadt!

Now we get to Alicia, who has been pretty much speechless up to this point…oh brother. First the rehashing of her storyline this season. Eddie, cheating, lying, jail, sentencing, Carla, Chinese food, tapes…and she says she puts her faith in God. I’m sure God has been very proud of the way she lives her life. He probably gave her tips on embezzlement too. While Alicia doesn’t seem to want to say it on television, her sentencing was postponed to March, last we heard. Ang thinks Alicia will get house arrest. Alicia says, “the point is I committed a crime.”  I can’t believe my ears! After months of swearing she is innocent and didn’t cook the books, Alicia is saying she committed a crime? Sherri asks what we have all been saying, it is hard to believe she didn’t know her husband wasn’t in the lifestyle considering how her father in law was killed. Alicia says she was naïve and in love. Please!  She is divorcing him now because he betrayed her, not because she has her own Boo who may be pressuring her to do it. Wow! Sherri asks if Alicia is seeing anybody and of course she dodges that answer like it's a fatal bullet. But, don’t we all know about the Rob LaScala “rumors,” that are all over the internet. Did anyone see that Cartier Love Bracelet with all that bling “poor single mom” Alicia is wearing?

It just dawned on me that you have been
talking about Lee behind my back for three seasons!

Next issue is how Renee and Alicia’s friendship unravels. Alicia says Renee gossips to her friends about her business. Renee says hello, you are on national television with your business. Thank you Renee, I was yelling that at the TV myself!  Sherri says Eddie is the big culprit. Drita rehashes about how Renee talked about Lee with Karen Gravano. Drita instantly goes ballistic over this all of a sudden. Renee says people were talking and Drita screams, “People are you, you did it… you ain’t never been my friend, first, second, third season..” Renee says she was a friend to Drita more than anyone ever was and then Drita agrees. WTH? Was Renee a friend to Drita or not? Wasn’t everyone talking about everyone’s husband? Weren't they all talking about Lee, Junior and Joe? Why is Drita just now blowing a gasket? Did production help Drita get riled up by maybe showing her some cutting room floor edits where Renee said something we didn‘t see? Because, as far as I know, Drita already watched all the shows from previous seasons, but this is the first time she is having an issue with Renee about it. Why not show a clip of what Drita is referring to? This is totally out of left field!

Time to discuss the men in their lives. Sherri wants to know what or who Lee looks like. Drita says, the Rock. I look up The Rock because I am clueless. I don’t think he looks anything like Lee, but I have to give Drita the benefit of the doubt since I have never seen either man. Renee loves her son, AJ, who always gives her good advice. Alicia’s brother is good looking. Ang says no one is looking for Neal. I say who cares? They still left out Rob LaScala.

And that concludes season four of Mob Wives “New Blood.” I hope to see some drastic cast changes and/or additions in season five and a lot more reality!

Let me take this opportunity to say I have always loved the concept of Mob Wives even with my strong opinions. I would like to congratulate Jennifer Graziano on an obviously successful season four and a new season five!

***********

P.S. I did look for and see the Cartier Love Bracelet on Alicia's wrist. Hard to spot it while she is moving her hand around, but VH1 took and after the reunion picture of her and if you look at her left wrist the bracelet appears to be the one furthest away from her hand. I do believe I saw diamonds spaced out on it so that one runs about $10,000 or so. Nice.

"The Walking Dead: Inmates" Episode Recap

The episode opens up with Beth reading from a journal entry from when she and the group first discover the prison. She reads about finally finding a safe haven and sleeping in her own bed. Beth hopes that the stay is permanent and her hope is inspired by her father.

"We can live here for the rest of our lives."

Sadly, the harsh reality is that her and Daryl are running in the woods away from walkers.

Nighttime falls and Daryl and Beth sit around a fire. Beth is desperate to search for survivors. Daryl remains silent. Beth isn't taking Daryl's silence easy and is adamant on tracking down survivors. She marches off into the woods, Daryl following her. It's the next day and they are still in the woods. Daryl notices footprints on the ground. Beth thinks they are human tracks but Daryl is less optimistic. He notices that the tracks become more frequent and concludes that whoever the tracks belong to, they got away in a hurry. Beth tells him to have more faith when Daryl tells Beth "Faith didn't help your father". Beth glares at him before scouring for food as Daryl patrols the area. Beth and Daryl come across two slain walkers. A walker rustles in the woods and sneaks up behind Beth. Daryl drags the walker down as Beth stabs it. Daryl and Beth come on and come across railroad tracks. Sadly, they come across a couple walkers eating human flesh. Daryl takes care of them and Beth looks at the carnage. As Daryl walks on nonchalantly, Beth just stands there and begins sobbing. The duo continue on, stopping at nightfall to start a fire. Despite the bleak reality, Beth wants to go on for her dad's sake.

Lizzy and Mika are in the woods, Mika crying and wanting to see Carol. Ty is leading the way, holding a safe Baby Judith. It's nightfall and Ty and the girls take a break. Ty wraps a wound on his arm. Lizzy spots a bunny and kills it. Judith starts crying. The girls are scared that the walkers will be attracted to the crying. Lizzy hands Ty a baby bottle to calm Judith. The girls hear a twig snap. The group take off. It's daytime when the girls spot grapes to pick. Judith is still fussy. The crew stops for a quick diaper change. Mika gets more freaked out. They hear a sound and Ty hands the baby over to the girls and looks in the brushes. Turns out, it was just a group of birds but Mika takes off, Lizzy and Ty (holding Judith) following her. Mika said she got scared and Ty comforts her. He tells Mika to try to stay close. Mika remarks she's not like Lizzy but Ty assures her that it's okay. The crew are interrupted by screams. He places the girls back to back, Lizzy holding the baby. Ty assures them to stay close and to either run together or fire if they have to. Much to Mika's distress, Ty takes off to help. Ty runs to the train tracks where two men and a woman are being attacked. Ty goes to help kill off the walkers but it's too late for the family. Meanwhile, baby Judith won't stop crying. Lizzy covers Judith's mouth to stifle her cries. Two walkers come out of the woods towards Mika. A gun shot is heard. Ty finishes off the walkers but not wihtout the older man being bit. A voice calls out for Tyrese. Ty turns around and to his surprise, it's Carol with the girls. The girls and Ty are stunned and happy to have Carol back.

Before he stumbles to his death, the old man tells the newfound group to follow the tracks to a "safe place". The group heads down the tracks. Carol explained that she kept looking around and tried to go back to the prison but she went when it was too late so she followed Ty and the girls. Ty suggests going back to Carol's car but Carol said it was pointless. The group catches a sign that reads "Sanctuary for all, community for all, those who arrive, survive" and then a map is shown with a place called "TERMINUS".

Sasha is tending to Bob's wound on his arm while Maggie is sharpening her knife. Bob is trying to convince Sasha that Tyrese escaped. Sasha is telling Maggie that they have an advantage with the water and are going to camp for the night. Maggie tells them that the two can stay and that she is going to track down to find the bus and find Glenn. Maggie is adamant on going. Sasha tells her they can't split but she keeps going. So Bob joins her, a frustrated Sasha following. Sasha is pissed because they should be foraging for food and shelter. The crew come across the deserted bus. Maggie runs toward the bus, the two following her. They check the bus up close to see it is full of walkers. Maggie is hellbent on getting in the bus but Bob and Sasha suggest they open the door and let one walker out at a time. Sasha lets out one, a male walker. A few more walkers are let out, none of them being Glenn. However, Sasha is overpowered by the walkers and they all pour out. The three slash the walkers, Maggie bashing one's head in the side of the bus before stabbing it's head. Maggie, still unsatisfied, goes into the bus to see what is left. Maggie notices a walker is still awake, a walker with black hair...but it's not Glenn. Maggie slashes the walker and falls onto the bus seat, sobbing at the thought that her husband is gone. But Glenn isn't dead...

In fact, he's on the second story of the now dreadful prison. He is met with a horde of walkers below but calls out for Maggie. Glenn grabs his rifle and goes into the now vacant C-Cell and back to his room. He goes back in the cell where he stayed with Maggie and pulls out his riot armor and helmet. Glen lays down on the bed to take a breather and comes across a picture of Maggie on his bedside. He begins weeping, wondering what happened to her. Glen goes into different cells and gathers supplies before heading back out where he came from. Glenn bravely jumps down as hordes of zombie surround him but the padding on his gear protects him. Before he makes his escape, he finds Tara sulking in the garden.

Glenn approaches her, asking her what she's doing. Tara isn't responding, ridden with survivor's guilt. Glenn asks her for help and hands her a gun. He then lights up a Malatov Cocktail and throws it at a nearby car, distracting the walkers. Glenn and Tara make their escape. They come across Carol's burned vehicle. As they are walking down the road, Tara explains that she trusted the Governor and that "Brian" told them all that Glenn and his crew were bad. Tara feels enourmous guilt for being part of it once he saw how the Governor killed Hershel. Glenn throws it in Tara's face how Hershel was a good man and he taught Glenn to believe, so he believe he needed to find Maggie. Before they can go further, they come across more walkers. Glenn kills a couple before realizing he can't take much and stumbles down. A walker sneaks behind  Tara so she turns and bashes his head in. A big Army truck pulls up. Tara turns around, out of breath and yelled "hope you enjoyed the show, asshole!"

A big, broad-shouldered man and his male and female companions hop out, all carrying guns. "You sure have a mouth on you," the man remarked: "What else do you got?"

Janes Notes: For starters, I LOVED this episode much more than last week's and the development of the stories between the different groups and how each survivor reacted to being outside the fence and "exposed". My guess is Beth took it the hardest. Even during the apocalypse, Beth was somewhat "sheltered" and never really participated in the fighting. She was more of the "nurturer" of the group but however, it is impressive to see her carrying on and wanting to look for the others.

AND CAROL, I had NO idea we would see her so soon but alas, I am glad that the show had at least one or two heartwarming moments. But why did Lizzy tune out when Mika was calling for her and she had her hands over Judith's mouth? Was Lizzy actually trying to do more than just muffle Judith's cries? I'm telling ya, she reminds me of one of those twins from "The Shining".

I forgot about Tara making it...but what happened to her sister after she shot the Governor?? Seems her downfall is her immense survivor's guilt. '

Now I'm saving the exciting part for last....MICHAEL CUDLITZ!!!

You gotta understand, I am a HUGE fan of the cop-drama "Southland", where he played the gay veteran cop that struggled with past addictions. The show is phenomenal and I recommend if you want to see more Michael to catch the show. I am SO excited to see what he has to deliver in the coming season! He is not just a great actor but a great person too so I'm glad to see him on another favorite show of mine.

Mob Wives: Recap “Renee’s Had Enough,” Ep 411

It’s not just Renee who has had enough, I think we all have…about lots of things…things we do not want to hear about any more! Here goes, and excuse me if I'm not all fired up this week...

Drita’s house. Renee arrives for THE sit down. Drita cooks the dinner and appoints herself “mediator.” Alicia, Natalie and Ang are already sitting and waiting at the table. Natalie is annoyed the second she sees Renee’s face, and Alicia has an attitude about Renee. Nobody is talking. Renee tells Alicia to eat something, but Alicia is a basket-case over her sentencing. And, I feel like we are all serving a sentence every time we have to hear her whine…you did the crime, now do the time (if there is any)! Alicia speaks for both herself and Natalie. Alicia accuses Renee of spreading rumors about her that are going to jeopardize her case. Renee says she would never do such a thing. There’s nothing like going on a reality show to keep your life private, right Alicia? They rehash the sentencing (again, oy vey) and Alicia suddenly attributes their issues to a “miscommunication.” Alicia says she doesn’t know who leaked the information about her, but she NOW realizes it’s no one at the table. Gee, just like that? Renee says this all started with her friend, Carla, coming up. Drita, the voice of reason and newly self-appointed mediator, says Carla is Renee’s friend for life and Renee’s loyalty lies with her. On the other hand, Renee has known Eddie, as a friend, for 30 years, so her loyalty lies with him. Natalie chimes in. She defended Alicia because she is her friend, and Renee says she understands her sticking up for Alicia. Alicia wants Renee to come to her directly when she hears anyone say something. Alicia is trying to keep her friendship with Renee and move past these issues since Renee has been Eddie’s friend for 30 years. Now all the air is cleared and they all got to eat! They even got to dessert. Drita is proud of herself. What? Just like that all the issues are resolved in a kumbaya moment? Is this for real? Of course not. Something doesn’t have the ring of truth to it. What the hell changed to get everyone so warm and fuzzy and agreeable, especially between Renee and Natalie? Way too much happened to just kiss and makeup. Next!

Can't we all just get along? I want PEACE!

Drita is at her second store location, the grand opening is soon. She is pissed because the work isn’t moving as fast as it should. Drita lost her money in Vegas and she needs to make more money. She hates the red color paint they show her, they got the wrong color. Drita is building an empire for her daughters to pay for college. Drita loves her Lady Boss sign! She still has a lot to do before the Grand Opening. Well at least the opening of the store is real, but I’m not that interested in it.

Natalie and London are wandering around looking at apartments. Looks like they are in Brooklyn, but who really cares? The building has no elevators and they keep climbing stairs up to the nosebleed floor. How the high up is this apartment already? Natalie immediately notices there is no closet space in the apartment. Where in the world will she put all that skimpy lingerie? The bedroom for her son is too small, there is no washer or dryer, and no freakin’ elevator. The Real Estate agent says for all those things she would have to pay $2,000 a month more. London doesn’t want to pay that much. Either he is cheap or has a low income. She says she has a mortgage free house in SOUTH Philly and she doesn’t really want to move into a small ass apartment. She says they need a three bedroom apartment. He doesn’t get it, two bedrooms are enough. She says what if they have a baby. He says he isn’t ready for a baby. He doesn’t want a more expensive apartment. He wants to party. She says they have a nine year old, they can’t party. She leaves. She wants a husband and a family and doesn’t want to be the one making all the sacrifices. Now this was a waste of time filler scene that no one cared about. However, for the first time I do agree with Natalie, she needs to stay in her mortgage free house in SOUTH Philly.

The naive Goddess has spoken, but who is listening?

At the Goddess’ house, Alicia says she is relieved she patched things up with Renee (what a load off her mind, right?) and can focus on her sentencing. The bank is closing all her bank accounts…all nine of them. Gee, I wonder why? Maybe they think there could be some embezzled pension money chilling in there? Or maybe they are afraid she will hide the money so she doesn’t have to pay restitution? Anyway, she keeps claiming it’s her money, but who is going to believe her?  And, she is still freaking crying over Eddie’s betrayal, but she keeps saying she isn’t with him any more, hasn’t been with him for a long time. I even heard she served him with divorce papers. The kids don’t know her sentencing is only a week away. She has to break it to them. She is scared and she would rather not think about it. She wants to be strong for her boys. If she ends up in jail it will be devastating because her boys won’t have their father or mother. Boo hoo, more crying. All she ever wanted was her family and now everything has fallen apart because she was naïve (insert extreme eye roll <@@> here). Now she has to struggle and she didn’t sign up for this, boo hoo, boo hoo. I think I have exhausted all I can say about Alicia and her situation. This poor horse has been beaten to death.

Lady Boss Grand Opening. Drita is excited because it has all come together. Alicia arrives at the store with a gift basket and she loves it. She says it’s very chic. Renee loves it. Ang loves it. It’s all fancy and her kind of style, says Ang. Drita went from giving black eyes to blue eyes, says Renee. Renee asks Alicia about court. Alicia says she is just waiting. London and Natalie show up. They both look like they are dressed from “The 70’s Show.” I’ll have to ask Fashionista to look into this retro look. London says Natalie will not respect the budget he has in his mind, so they will live in separate states. Yes! Natalie wants  more of a commitment and Alicia speaks to London about it. She doesn’t want London to hurt her. Drita is glad there is no tension or awkwardness between the girls today. They toast to the store. Another filler scene. You know what? I am getting the impression that Drita made the best deal this season. Not only did she make a pile of money from being on the show, she got a load of free advertisement for her new store.

Renee’s house. Alicia calls, she just got home from Christmas shopping with the boys. Renee tells her she is pissed with Natalie over her disrespectful tweets. Renee says she hasn’t said or done anything to her since they met at Drita’s. Renee tells her she tweeted she doesn’t condone women who sleep with married men and Natalie tweets that Renee wasn’t Eddie‘s friend and called her a lying dirty ho. Forgive me if I got this wrong, but I didn’t find the actual tweets. Renee feels she was attacked by Natalie on Twitter. Alicia wants Renee to tell all this to Natalie, not her. Renee thought they were past all the BS and now Natalie disrespects her on Twitter. Renee’s had enough! I have had enough too!

Oh Lord, Ang and Neil are at the fertility clinic. Neil’s sperm + an egg donor + a surrogate = baby. The whole thing sounds and looks like a big joke. Neil actually already looks pregnant with that beer belly he is carrying around. Ang is making a comedy out of the whole thing. If they are going to attempt to use this as a storyline, at least make it a little believable. It’s totally bogus and I don’t find it funny.

Alicia’s house. She is with the boys, writing letters to Eddie. The phone rings and it’s Eddie, surprise surprise…yawn. The boys pass the phone around very fast and then Alicia gets on. We never hear Eddie’s voice, like we did with Lee. Alicia says Eddie got the best case scenario for his sentencing. She seems to be arguing with “Eddie,” but we can’t hear his end of the conversation, so who really knows? I. for one, think she was talking to the producer and role playing. One of the boys asks her what did dad do. She says he made some mistakes and had to go away. She tells them she got involved in his mistakes and might have to go away too. She asks them to write her letters if she goes away. She is preparing her children for the possibility they might have nether parent for a while. No offense to the children, or maybe they edited it to look that way, but they didn’t have much of a reaction to the news. No one, except maybe Alicia, seems broken up about the possibility of her going to jail…makes me think she has a plea deal that doesn’t involve doing time and she has been pulling the wool over our eyes all season long. Hmmmm.

Ok, what's up with this attire? A fashion statement?

Renee rents out a beautiful suite in New York City for a pajama “Ho Ho Ho” party. Everyone loves it. Renee is in a great mood…as long as one person doesn’t come…Natalie. Alicia tells the girls that Renee is upset with Natalie over something she tweeted which may have been below the belt. They go ask Renee what happened. Renee explains what happened on Twitter. Natalie says “You were never his friend you lying dirty Ho.” Drita is pissed because they have already made peace. Ang says the peace was too good to be true and is disappointed in Natalie for breaking the truce. Renee says Natalie is out of control, out of line, and needs to go back to Philadelphia. I think @dondig should do me a favor and drive her there right now. Alicia goes upstairs to see what the problem is with Renee. Alicia agrees Natalie was out of line, but she can’t control her. Renee feels people are looking at her sideways because of  what Natalie said. Drita just wants PEACE, she is tired of them all bickering like animals. Renee’s had enough! I have to laugh. Drita, the fighter, wants peace. Ang and Drita are suddenly sticking up for Renee. Even Alicia is siding with Renee before even talking to Natalie! Is anyone as confused as I am right now? What did Drita put in her brownies at dinner?

So Mob Wives is ending their season with a fight about tweets? That’s all they could come up with? If so, please pass me some of Drita’s brownies for me and my entourage…thanks.

Mob Wives: Sneak Peek "Eat Worms B*tch" Ep 8

Renee tells Alicia off! Yes!

Well, well looks like Renee has had enough of Alicia! Join the club Renee! I don't know who Alicia thinks she is, but her inflated ego is getting knocked down a few pegs by Renee and I couldn't be happier. I am Team Renee. Renee has been nothing but supportive of Alicia and Alicia turned on her two times without reason. Let's sum up Alicia's record so far...let's see if that "innocent" act holds water! Here's my two cents worth...

It's true I have been having a little fun on the blog at Alicia’s expense. I consider it like a “hazing” or initiation like to the Mob Wives sorority. She is the new comer and she immediately got off on the wrong foot by throwing Karen’s and her father’s name around right off the bat. It came across badly to anyone who is a fan of Karen Gravano or has a sense of right and wrong. The things she was saying weren’t true. To make matters worse, Karen wasn’t even on the show to defend herself. So that was my first impression of Alicia, and it wasn’t good.

And then Alicia’s issues with Renee started when she heard her name mentioned on the wire tap recordings. I have a big problem with this. Alicia and Eddie were arrested three years ago and she already pled guilty before the show started filming, so WHY is she just now listening to wire taps and just learning Renee’s name was mentioned in them? Interesting.

Then, we come across conflicting stories on the show and in the media for just about everything that concerns Alicia. She swears she did not have a clue her husband worked for the mob. Big Ang says she had to have known, his father was whacked by the mob, what else could she think?  Did she know her husband worked for the mob or not? Like Big Ang, I find it hard to believe that she was that naïve and didn’t know about it…so I think that was a LIE.

Next she says she was arrested by the Feds for embezzling money, but swears she never “cooked the books.” The Feds have five years of wire taps recorded and she is on them. They felt there was enough evidence there to convict her of embezzlement. Alicia pled guilty to the charges, even though she still claims she is “innocent” and it was all her husband’s fault. She was the bookkeeper. She saw where the money went. I think she is guilty as charged. The innocent act sounds like a LIE.

The Feds asked Alicia to fill out papers disclosing her income before she was cast on Mob Wives. She failed to go back and correct the disclosure when she learned she would be earning roughly $8,000 an episode or $96,000 for the season. The Feds want her to pay restitution and fines to the truckers whose pension funds she allegedly pocketed. Failure to report her Mob Wives income may appear to some as a LIE.

Then I read about the Gucci lawsuit. According to several media stories, Gucci believed that she was selling items with their logo and passing it off as theirs. We don’t know all the details, but Alicia says they have dropped their lawsuit. Apparently, from what I gather, the boutique was selling handmade baby items adorned with little frills made with material that had designer logo patterns all over them. Maybe that’s not an infringement on their logo? Who knows? Gucci will not return my calls. I’ll give this one to Alicia.

In her personal life, at least  on the show, she is crying a river over Eddie, who was imprisoned three years ago. One would think she “doesn’t know what to do” when he comes out. She loves him, but this was such a huge betrayal. Should she stay or go…that’s the impression I got. After all he was her one true love. Turns out, according to people in Philly, that Alicia found herself a new man very soon after Eddie’s incarceration. Alicia says he is an old family friend, there is no truth to the rumors they are “together.” Yet, people are saying he rarely leaves her side and his car is always parked outside her house. Who are we to believe, the people from Philly, the city of love, or Alicia? I’m going with the word on the Philly street, which would make Alicia’s version a LIE.

Now for the Vegas picture and newspaper articles! According to Alicia, it’s NOT the picture that’s the problem, it’s the lies told to the newspapers about her going to visit her son in WV and then going to Vegas instead. She blames Renee for leaking the information. Why? I don’t get it. Why would Renee tell the media lies and why would the judge be upset by the content of the article? Alicia is not responsible for what the media prints or what their sources may tell them. The judge evidently knows that Alicia asked to go to Vegas, it was approved and her lawyer did not seem concerned about that. BUT, Alicia is responsible for tweeting out her own picture in a skimpy swimsuit with Drita...the picture that Alicia discussed with her attorney on the show...the picture he was concerned about because it could leave the judge with a negative image of her as a party girl and not the stay at home mom she tried to portray to the court. So, the way it was presented on the show, it leaves us to believe that the pictures were indeed the problem. The pictures that, by Alicia’s own admission, were released on her social media accounts by her. So which one is the problem…the pictures or the content of the article? Maybe neither? After all who stands to benefit from those articles? Everyone! The media, VH1, Mob Wives Producers, the cast and Alicia herself, because it has created drama for the show to film…and drama = $$$.

Let's go to the video tape! May the best Mob Wife win!

Mob Wives: Alicia DiMichele Garofalo & a Husband?

Who’s hunky Santa?
Who is sitting on Santa’s lap?

1st guess: Mrs. Santa?

2nd guess: Evil Elf?

3rd guess: Distraught Mob Wife?
Crying over Eddie’s betrayal…..

Well it depends on who Santa is….I’m guessing distraught mob wife.

……still crying over Eddie’s betrayal.  Alicia DiMichele doesn’t ugly cry, go girl!

I mean this is The Distraught Mob Wives Blogspot.

Karen Gravano (through tweets) has made mention of the wife of Eddie “Tall Guy” Garofalo fooling around with someone else’s husband.  Say it ain’t so!  Our sources for months now have been claiming Eddie’s oh so faithful wife Alicia DiMichele Garofalo is bumping and grinding with a restaurant owner Mr. LaScala in back of Santa’s sled.  Is Alicia DiMichele naughty or nice?

We have no way of confirming the alleged affair between R. LaScala and Alicia DiMichele Garofalo.    You know with the Mob Wives there is always a lot of rumors.  Chiara, Carmela, Jane and I are not CSI detectives.  Plus I doubt Santa would let us swab his sled for some DNA samples.

The elves tell us what happens in Philly (Cherry Hill) stays on the curbs next to bistro sets.  I don’t know why the elves would think I am remotely concerned with who’s going down Alicia DiMichele’s chimney.

Elves chime in, "M.M. you were all up in Carla’s Facciolo’s coochie!"

No Evil Elves that was Handy Man and Mikey Scars allegedly once upon a time.  Carla’s coochie is all cleaned up now. She’s tending to her soap empire.

Elves storm off screaming, “M.M. tend to your beard you are full of it!”

Those elves are pure evil.  Moving along, we were hoping to get a glimpse of Alicia DiMichele’s alleged mistle toe lover platonic family friend R. LaScala.  We thank the VH1 elite editing team for giving us our Christmas wish of seeing these two in the same room during episode 403 six minutes in.  Hey they really could just have a wholesome relationship.

R. LaScala could just be tired of restaurant food and looking forward to a home cooked meal.

As always you decide what & who to believe, remember we are just miserable often b!tchy wives who blog.  Don’t miss season 4 of Mob Wives on VH1 at 10 PM Thursday nights.  How did you all enjoy episode 3?  What was your favorite or least favorite part?

Merry Christmas!

Mob Wives: Renee & Drita ABC Interview Season 4

Here is a thirteen minute, interesting video of Renee and Drita being interviewed about season four of Mob Wives and the New/Bad Blood. They talk about how the new wives are fitting in, how this is the first time Big Ang has really been annoyed, how the show has never been fun, how hard and mentally exhausting doing the show can be.

Drita discusses her girls and tells a few stories about Giselle that are very funny. All in all an enjoyable and interesting interview with Drita dropping a big HINT of things to come!

Mob Wives: Recap “You Smell Delicious” Ep 403

Oh boo hoo, Eddie how could you have lied to me, deceived me, betrayed me,
cheated on me, and then eat Chinese food with another woman?
Says the loyal, faithful and ever loving wife.

Drita and Big Ang are out in Drita’s backyard. It’s beautiful, nice pavers! The D”Avanzo’s are renovating and they have to refurnish the whole house. It’s costing lots of money. “New life, new start,” says Big Ang. Lee has his own business, he opened a sports memorabilia store and goes to work every day. Everything is coming up roses for Drita and Lee. Drita loves the normal life. Drita tells Ang that Aleeya is being bullied at school. It’s “annoying” Drita, but she is trying to be “mature.”  She has to figure out how to handle it. What??? I still don’t know what there is to figure out? Maybe I’m missing something? Go to the school authorities and have it documented. If it’s serious, file a police report too. This way you can establish a pattern of behavior in case you have to press charges. Maybe it’s “Just Me?” Then, Big Ang says Alicia is having the girls over. Drita likes the idea because she likes Alicia and needs a night out away from everything.

The one NOTE wonder "Eddie"

This week Alicia is cooking pasta and sauce. It seems like just yesterday she was “cooking the books.” It looks like lasagna is in that big pot. She has a house full of people and everyone seems to be helping with the cooking. Little Carlo is peeling a cumber. She says the kids don’t know what she learned from the wire taps about Eddie. She has to put on a good face for them. And, from the looks of it, she is doing a good job laughing and enjoying her company. Her oldest son, Anthony, has been the man of the house, but he is going West Virginia to college. I guess this is when she asks the judge if she can go to WV to help him set up his dorm and then takes the plane to Las Vegas instead, but I digress. She is going to send him chicken cutlets, meatballs and condoms. Alicia talks to her brother outside, about Eddie’s lies and deceit. She can’t stand talking to Eddie (I wish she couldn’t stand talking about him, because I can’t take it!) and so she sends him emails telling him how hurt she is. Eddie betrayed her, ruined her trust, took her innocence. What??? Her innocence? I have to rewind and hear it again. Yep, she sure did say innocence. I think the last time this chick may have been “innocent” was maybe when she was 11 or 12. Insert a chorus from Poor Poor Pitiful Me here. She is trying to “keep it together for her boys,” and the best way to do that is to lie to a judge about where you are going, go on National television and air all your dirty laundry and make headlines?

Back in Staten Island Renee is talking to her good friend. Nikole. They talk about how everyone dated everyone in SI. Renee is pissed that Alicia interrogated her about the wire taps.  Eddie dated Carla, but he dated Nikole too and five others in between. Renee tells her Alicia heard Eddie and Carla on the tapes while she was 8 months pregnant and Renee’s name was mentioned. She wants Nikole’s advice because Nikole understands the situation. Nikole agrees it was not Renee’s responsibility to tell Alicia anything. Renee says her friendship and loyalty is to Edward, she has no responsibility to Alicia. Her loyalty is crystal clear and Renee is not a rat. Alicia is making it an issue with Renee when the issue should be with Eddie and their relationship. I have to agree with Renee. How the hell does she know what the dynamics of Alicia’s marriage was at the time? Maybe they had an open marriage? All wise guys cheat. That’s a given. As for Alicia not knowing Eddie was in the mob…I don’t think Renee believes that and I sure as hell don’t. Alicia knew Eddie’s father was killed by the mob, wouldn’t that raise anyone’s suspicions at the very least?

Renee is going on a date and has her makeup done at Drita’s store by Drita. She sounds excited and tells Drita they met through a mutual friend. He is the frist man she has dated who hasn’t been in jail. She says she is the one who gave him her number and he called her. Renee thinks he is gorgeous. He is not in the mob and he doesn’t know about her family life, but she intends to tell him. Renee looks fabulous, Drita did an awesome job! Chirp chirp!

Renee is meeting this guy and she is nervous. Her date’s name is Michael and he loves her eyes. Renee does have beautiful, stunning eyes. He likes to take control and order the food. Renee says he is a strong man, and that’s just what she likes. Renee decides to tell him about her lifestyle including her father and her ex-husband. He says he doesn’t care about her past or the two of them, he is there for her. Renee says it’s too good to be true, but she intends to enjoy it for however long it lasts. Renee had a great time on the date, there was conversation and he was attentive. I just have a question? How has this guy not heard of Mob Wives or Renee before this date? It’s all the talk on the street in Staten Island and in the media? Just askin’.

Alicia wants the "TRUTH?" Well seems like Karen has some for her!
I'd love a dish of lasagna with Karen and hear more of this truth!

Back to Philly we go…Alicia’s house. Alicia just wants the truth. The truth always comes out, just ask Karen Gravano! The girls arrive for dinner: Big Ang, Drita and Renee. Alicia says she has a million unanswered questions. She is still turnt up over what she heard on the wire tapped recordings of her husband Eddie. I I hear the name Eddie one more time I am going to be sick! What a broken record! She needs to vent and sound out the other women about what they think about Renee's “involvement.” She tells them she heard Eddie and his ex-girlfriend, Carla, on the tape, along with Renee’s name. Drita is shocked to hear that Renee went to have Chinese food with Eddie and his ex. Drita makes no bones about what she would do if she walked in on Lee and his ex at a restaurant...she would drive right through the window and run them over! Big Ang also seems to sympathize with Alicia's issue, even though she understands it's part of the lifestyle. However, Renee defends Eddie, she didn’t know if Alicia knew about their relationship, and says her loyalty is to him, he has been her lifelong friend. This conversation hits home with Drita who says, "Renee own up to the fact that you were in a shady situaton." Big Ang says, she "doesn't know what Renee was thinkin,' but I don't want no part of this." Ang adds, "How would Renee like it if it was her? She would be f*ckin' pissed." Hey wait a minute, what happened to the Big Ang who said, “Who cares who sleeps with who?” when there was all that talk about good old Carla sleeping with married men? Drita agrees with Ang, Renee would have gone to war if it happened to her. Alicia is most upset about the lies, lies, lies and for what? Chinese food?  I don’t know about you, but it’s going to be a long, long time before I order Chinese food again…I am sick of it. Oy.

Big Ang meets with her son AJ who is out of rehab and she is proud of him. He and his girlfriend are having a baby and Ang is excited to have another grandchild. Ang doesn’t want to upset him by telling him she is thinking of having her own baby. Geez, I think were all upset to hear that. First of all her age is against her and second how stable is her marriage? Is this responsible or reasonable thinking? Please. I think it’s storyline filler.

At Alicia’s house, she gets a letter from Eddie after she sends him an email. She reads “the typed letter” to her friend, Tina and sister, Renee. Let me say, before I go on, that I do not believe Eddie wrote that letter. If I’m wrong, I’ll eat Chinese food. In the letter he apologizes to Alicia and says she is his best friend, he has made many mistakes in their relationship, was a complete failure as a husband and he betrayed her. He is sorry for all he is done. He loves her. Alicia feels bad for him, but she is guarded and doesn’t want to be manipulated again. She would have a lot to get over in order to forgive him. They were a perfect happy family and in love. She doesn’t know if it’s a mistake to be loyal to him now. Her friend Tina says the opposite. She says Eddie has been the primary source of Alicia’s pain since she met her. I’m distracted. I keep wondering if the pension money paid for that house and pool and all the bills? Or maybe it was the designer knockoffs?

Drita takes Aleeya for self defense classes to help her with the bullying issue. Aleeya is looking very beautiful and grown up. Drita is going to pick up a few techniques too. This should build Aleeya’s confidence. I agree with Drita on this. A self defense program should be required of all young girls these days, maybe even put into the school curriculum instead of gym. However, it’s not the solution to her bullying and those kids should be confronted and punished for their behavior. Call the principal!

WHAT'S WRONG??? I was paying everyone a compliment!
The SOUTH Philly way!

Renee and her Boo, Michael, are going to meet the girls at girls night out. Big Ang is giving Natalie a second chance for Renee’s sake, the first time she was whacked. Alicia is fine with Renee, her issue is with Eddie. Natalie is in party mode, as usual, “shooting down the shots.” Even Renee thinks Natalie is out of control…drunk in no time. Drita thinks she isn’t normal…Natalie is calling them “whores” over and over. Natalie thinks that’s a compliment, but Drita is ready to break her face. Renee’s date shows up. Alicia thinks he is cute. Natalie kisses him on both cheeks, hugs him tight and says he “smells delicious.“ Natalie is sweating like a pig and maybe got her sweat on Michael. Disgusting. Renee goes nuts. She can’t believe she heard Natalie call Michael “delicious” and wants to strangle her. Renee wants to leave, she thinks Natalie is making him uncomfortable. Natalie won’t give Renee her bag so she can leave. Ang is totally fed up with Natalie. Renee feels disrespected and won’t talk to Natalie. Natalie has no clue what she did. Alicia is lost because Renee flipped out over Natalie’s comment…but not over Carla going out with Eddie.  Go figure? It’s too late for Renee not to be embarrassed. What a scene to subject a new man to! Now Renee thinks she and Natalie have nothing in common and Natalie isn’t liking Renee too much either.  I say send the Philly chicks back to SOUTH Philly already.

Drita tells Alicia the word “delicious” should have never come out of Natalie’s mouth. That was sick. Drita sides with Renee completely. I have to say, while I am not up on the new lingo, I can see where a comment like that, coming from someone like Natalie, could be taken the wrong way. However, Alicia still doesn’t get it, “it’s just Natalie being Natalie,” she says. She thinks Renee should have let it go. Hello Alicia! Have you ever watched Mob Wives before you actually signed up for the drama? Did you think the show was about having tea, crumpets and Chinese food? Renee joins them. Alicia says it wasn’t a big deal, Renee says no, it’s a matter of respect. Alicia still compares it to her situation, saying Renee has two sets of rules, one for her men and one for other women’s men. Drita doesn’t get Natalie either and is ready to break her face and then say she was joking about it. Drita seems angrier than Renee at this point. Surprisingly for me, is the fact that Renee still wants Natalie to be the face of her brand. So Renee wants to correct her and handle it. Personally, I would not want someone like Natalie, who has no class, no boundaries, no common sense, no sense of professionalism representing my new business. She is going to be the downfall of Mob Candy, she is the weak link! There are plenty of beautiful, aspiring models out there who know how to act in public…plenty! Get a new one, please Renee.

At the same time, Natalie meets with her friend, Amy, and tells her the “delicious story.” How Renee hired her for Mob Candy and brings a guy she started dating to girls’ night. So Natalie meets him and says he smells delicious. Amy says “that’s nice.“ I guess there is a different set of etiquette rules in SOUTH Philly? Natalie feels she was paying him a compliment, but Renee got all bent out of shape. She wants to know why Renee invited her boyfriend if she is that jealous and it was a girls’ night out? Now that comment makes sense and I’m stunned. If I was just dating someone I would not want to bring him around my friends or family too soon. Natalie says Renee doesn’t know her as much as she thought she knew her. Renee gave her a set of rules because she works for Mob Candy. Amy says what does she think, you’re her puppet? Natalie isn’t anyone’s puppet! Natalie says Renee doesn’t trust anyone. She disrespected HER and embarrassed HER and she is not giving her the time of day as her friend, so now she is choosing “d*ck over me?”   Natalie says Renee is dead to her. And this is the person Renee wants to keep as the face of her brand???

This is a tribute to the one NOTE wonder: Alicia

Mob Wives: Recap “Caught On Tape,” Ep 402

My two cents will be sprinkled in the recap like spice in a recipe!

Renee goes to Philly and lands in Alicia’s boutique with her fashion line. Alicia is going to sell Renee’s new line in her store…maybe next to the designer knock offs she is being sued for selling? But Alicia would never EVER do anything wrong, like embezzling or lying to a judge about going to Vegas, would she? (NY Post Designer Knock-Offs) They chat like old friends. Renee loves Edward, Edward loves Renee. Alicia has Eddie’s name tattooed on her wrist. He is still the love of her life. Love is in the air! It’s a regular love fest! Alicia tells Renee she was arrested, with eight other “gentlemen,” by the FBI. She explains that she did the books for the trucking company they owned because she wanted them done the “right” way.  The next thing you know 30 FBI agents show up at her door and arrest her on a Tuesday morning. She pleaded “guilty” to embezzlement, so I guess she wasn’t doing things correctly? And, she isn’t happy that her husband put her in this position. Awww,  now I can’t help but hear Linda Ronstadt singing, “Poor, Poor, Pitiful Me” in my head.

Drita and Big Ang go to the beauty salon/spa. They talk about the Mob Candy launch party. Big Ang launches into her opinion of “loose canon” Natalie, and she is worried about Renee spending so much time with this “wacko,” the face of Mob Candy. Both Drita and Ang feel that Renee got too close, too soon with Natalie…they just met. Ang doesn’t like Natalie and feels she is a bad influence on Renee. Drita is worried that Renee will slip up and become the party girl again. Ang says when she met her for the first time she made absolute, zero sense. All she was interested in was downing shots.” Look, if that’s the case, she should have never been cast in the show…just sayn’. Then Drita tells Ang about a stalker that keeps coming into her store and bothering and scaring her staff. Ang tells her to put a buzzer on the door. How about calling 911 if he’s been there so many times? And what happened to the cameras that were installed last season so Drita could watch the store from home? If so, this guy has to be on film already. And, I do remember those cameras Drita asked Lee to install, don’t you? If you don’t you can read about it in my Recap on Episode 311. Moving on, Renee calls and invites Drita and Ang to go lunch with her and Natalie. Big Ang immediately says she ain’t going. She didn’t like what happened the last time they met. She was only interested in ordering shots and it was disrespectful.

Natalie and her boyfriend, London, meet for dinner. Natalie goes on and on about how Renee’s friends are already judging her without knowing her for even 5 or 10 minutes, and they have no class. No class, Natalie? People in glass houses shouldn’t throw stones (get someone to explain that one to you). She keeps saying they don’t know her. She tells London she intends to confront Drita and Big Ang about the way they talked about her behind her back, at the Mob Candy launch party, when she was just a couple of feet away. She is an M80 from SOUTH PHILLY, they are only firecrackers, and she intends to set them straight and it won’t be pretty.

Drita is chatting away with Alicia on the boardwalk. Since Alicia was in town, Drita thought it would be a good idea for them to meet. Why? I don’t know. Maybe it’s a perfect way for them to exchange sob stories? As they walk, they compare stories about how they met their husbands. Alicia feels Eddie lied to her about everything, she had no idea he was in the mob. Now why do I find this hard to believe?  Drita tells her Lee cheated on her. She had to take him back because the kids loved him too much, but she doesn’t seem to trust him 100%. I don’t know about the rest of you, but I didn’t need a recap of Drita’s life story with Lee. As for Alicia, I find it hard to believe anything she says. But, these two are bonding nicely. A kumbaya moment as I hear another chorus of Poor, Poor, Pitiful Me!

Drita goes to her store and her employee tells her the stalker came in again today. She says he keeps looking around, even behind the counter. Drita is irate. Drita calls Lee to tell him what is going on with this guy scaring her employees. Drita wants him to be scared like she’s scared. Lee tells her to give the girl his number, he can be there in two minutes if the guy comes back. She says she is going to beat him bad and Lee will have to bail her out. I still think it would be better to file a police report than to risk Lee getting into trouble handling this, but what do I know?

What's the f*ckin' beef?

Natalie walks in to the restaurant to meet Renee. Renee wants to clear the air about what Natalie heard Drita and Ang say behind her back. Ang isn’t coming. Natalie is riled up and Renee tries to calm her down. Drita is blindsided by Natalie’s confrontation. Drita readily admits to saying Natalie was probably drunk. Drita says she didn’t bring Natalie up in the conversation, and justifiably asks where are the other two are? Now Drita is riled up. “It’s better to be drunk than be a dick-head.” But they both seem to be the same type…quick to anger and to fight. In this showdown, I have to side with Drita, the leaping leopard. Natalie was beyond drunk when she and Ang met with her the first time and then she falls off the stage? It was a reasonable assumption to make that she was drunk, the girl loves to drink and party. Guess what, says Natalie, Drita may be a tough girl BUT she is from (all together now) SOUTH PHILLY, and she isn’t going to stand for this BS.

Alicia listens to hours and hours of Eddie’s wire taps and she doesn’t like it. The Feds feel, based on the wire taps, that Alicia, the bookkeeper, conspired to “cook the books” with her husband. Alicia’s brother shows up, and she tells him the evidence they have against her is from the wire taps. She needs to listen to five years of conversations so she can put what is on there into context for them and presumably prove her innocence and defend her case. Alicia believes in honesty and respect (like when she lied to the judge or sold knock off designer clothes?). She is upset because she hears him talking to girls, he lied a lot. Alicia hears lie, after lie. after lie. Her brother, who likes Eddie, says, “it’s a guy thing.” Her brother says he would never say anything against Eddie. Alicia is devastated, she thought she was the lucky wife. Okay one more time: poor, poor, pitiful me.

And a "penny" for Ang's thoughts!

Drita and Ang and Renee meet to talk about Natalie. Ang is turnt up! She has plenty to say about Natalie. Drita doesn’t like the way the confrontation lunch went down and tells Ang good thing she didn’t go. They both tell Ang how Natalie didn’t like Drita calling her drunk. Ang makes a face, like someone passed gas, then says she told Natalie she was crazy to her face. Renee wants to know their beef with Natalie. Ang lets Renee have it with both barrels: “I think she is a f*ckin’ trouble maker! Me and her go meet her for lunch, she couldn’t f*ckin’ talk! She didn’t make one bit of sense, she was talking in riddles, she was whacked! She was f*ckin’ mumblin’.” Ang says in the confessional, “I’m already fed up with this girl…she is just a train wreck.” Renee tries to make light of it, saying they could put up with Natalie having a bad day if they could put up with her for three years. Drita counters with she only tolerates that kind of thing from friends, not someone she just met. Renee has to find a way to bring peace between them and says she will talk to Natalie.

At Natalie’s house, in SOUTH Philly, Renee drops by to personally talk to her about paying attention to the “rules,” how things got out of hand between her and the girls and for the sake of Mob Candy.  Renee says Big Ang and Drita told her the whole story about their first meeting with Natalie and the confrontation lunch. Everything Ang said, Renee told Natalie. Natalie says she will do what she wants and “be me,” she doesn’t give a f*ck.”  Renee tells her when she drinks she is rowdy. Renee is the “Boss” and Natalie has to make a better impression on the girls and maybe win their respect. Natalie doesn’t like it, but says she can handle that. Why do I have some serious doubts about that?

Carto Funeral Home
A cozy place for a chat

Natalie and Alicia meet at the Carto funeral home to chat. Nice atmosphere. Plenty of mobsters were laid out there, boasts Natalie. Good to know.  Alicia wants to chat about the other goumada, “Carla,” who used to date her husband Eddie and also works on Mob Candy with Renee. She tells Natalie the two of them remained friendly throughout the marriage, and they went out to dinner a couple of times…it was all on the wire tap! AND, to add insult to injury, Renee was even at dinner with them and never told Alicia. Alicia is sick to her stomach. She was deceived and betrayed. Natalie agrees with Alicia. If she said anything else about it I couldn’t make it out, she talks like she has marbles in her mouth. Renee and Carla are lifetime friends, but Alicia is determined to talk to Renee about this issue. She is devastated…poor, poor pitiful me. I wish I could tell you more, but the dead woman’s blue dress, hanging behind them as they talked, was very distracting to say the least.

Back to Drita’s store and the stalker. Drita needs to do something. Obviously, the cameras she asked Lee to install in season three aren’t working. Michael, the alarm guy, shows up. He wants to put cameras up so the stalker can be ID’d. Drita tells him about a stalker she had years ago. Just then, at that exact moment, the guy shows up at the door  and peers in. Drita opens the door and politely asks him, “Are you the guy who keeps bothering my girls?” She tries to tell him off but, like a Weebles doll, he wobbles off down the street. Meanwhile, Drita, with her lightning speed and menacing talk, stands there like a deer caught in the headlights. Even I could have caught the guy while Michael, the alarm guy, calls 911. But, neither of them did anything. Go figure?

Alicia has a new “beef” this week and it’s with Renee! Alicia needs to confront Renee about what she heard on the wire taps. It’s been eating away at her. She arrives at Renee’s house and doesn’t waste a minute getting down to business. She tells Renee she has been listening to 5 years of wire taps. She says she heard Eddie talking to “the other” Carla on the tape and that Renee was on the tape too. Alicia tells her the whole conversation and how she was 8 months pregnant at the time. Renee admits to going out to dinner with them, but will not say how many times she was invited to join them. Edward is like Renee’s big brother, so why is Alicia so irritated with her? Alicia heard Renee’s name mentioned a lot and wants her to know how many times Eddie was with Carla. Renee isn’t going to “rat” him out. He is one of her dearest friends, who she has known all her life. Alicia is pissed because he lied and deceived her while she was pregnant. Alicia is now mad at Renee. Renee is getting riled up, it’s not her business. Is this the set up for next week’s drama?  The previews for next week are nothing short of explosive.

Mob Wives: Carmela's Take On Season 4 Premiere Party!

(Note: Jennifer Graziano extended an invitation to our blogging team to attend the premiere. We are all thankful and appreciative of Jenn's thoughtful and generous gesture. It meant a lot to all of us. We asked Carmela to go to represent us and we thank her for going and bringing back a blog to share with all of us.)

The Mob Wives premier party took place last night at The Greenhouse in NYC. Well, I have to say, I had a grand old time. Arriving early, I got to see  Big Ang, who was all dolled up in very BIG fur. She looked great! I was wondering how she was going to be in two places at one time, but she hung out and took photos, then gracefully headed  to the Drunken Monkey.

Alicia

Natalie

I got to meet the “New Blood” of the show, Alicia and Natalie. Both looked stunning. Alicia's red studded dress was a head-turner. It was as if it was painted on her and she  wore it well.   Natalie sported an outfit that made her look like a model in a runway lingerie fashion show. She managed to stand right in front of me during the season premiere  and I giggled from too much vodka and secretly took a few photos of her butt that I will not post.

Jenn was making her speech when...

Drita called in

Drita did make it there, but only for a few minutes. While Jenn was doing her speech Drita called in. She couldn't stay, something about her husband and kids. So that answered one of my questions - if they were still together. Someone tweeted a picture of Drita outside, she looked flawless, as usual.

And then of course there was Renee. She was having so much fun. I asked her for a few photos and she gracefully posed. All in all, a great night with a bunch a fun people. I could hardly watch the show as it was very loud, crowded and I was distracted. I caught bits and pieces, but I will catch up on a rerun.

Jenns' speech consisted of thanking VH1 and the people who believed in her. She talked about meeting both Alicia and Natalie and knew they had something in them.  She thanked Drita and mentioned her tough exterior. And of course, she thanked Big Ang, who she called a superstar and always a pleasure to work with. Then she talked about Renee, last but not least. Renee says "oh shit - I thought this was my party, but apparently it’s yours!" Jenn talked about how Renee put her life out there as an open book and opened her soul to the world, something she says she wouldn't have had the courage to do. Renee hopes that someone can learn from her experiences. Jenn says she was born for this. Jenn calls her original girls the OG's. She dedicated the night to Nina Diaz, Lonnie Holmes, Adam Gonzales along with the Team at LEFT/RIGHT who are there with her in the trenches everyday in the production of Mob Wives. My favorite quote of the night was when Jenn said, referring to the OG's, "One will be missed, the others not so much.”

Thank you to my blogging team and to Jennifer Graziano for the gracious invitation to attend this special event. I enjoyed myself tremendously.
