Mob Wives: Recap "Drittany," Ep 609

Another Steakhouse wasted, but I'm getting ahead of myself.

Carla and Renee go visit Ang now that she is home from the hospital, to keep her spirits up. Carla brings a tray of fish to warm up. Thank God it wasn't her escarole and beans dish.  Ang has her hair and makeup done. Karen arrives. Ang is in pain, but wants to cook for them. She tells them the doctors took more of the lung because it was deeper than they thought. She credits Neil for being there for her, sleeping the chair every night. She says it's so painful. They hope she doesn't need chemo. Karen tells them her father was denied early release. She has been stressed out going through this process all year. Karen feels the judge is just denying him because he is Sammy "The Bull" and nothing comes easy for him. They all enjoy Carla's meal. I hope she brought her Prosecco wine to go with it!

Giselle is turning 8 and all she wants is another puppy. Drita tells Lee she bought her a one and a half pound puppy. Aleeya and Giselle get home from school. Drita hides the puppy in all Giselle's stuff animals on the sofa. At first she can't even see it. She screams when she finally sees the puppy move. Drita is giving her full responsibility for taking care of the dog.

Brittany is at the park meeting up with Karen. Karen tells her about her visit with her father and how he was denied his early release. Brittany feels Karen has had it worse than she has, living in her father's shadow. The subject of Drita comes up. Again Karen explains how Drita should have come to her if she had an issue, not gone to Brittany. They made a pack at the warehouse not to talk about each other any more. But, of course, Drita is not true to her word and goes to Brittany to talk about her. Karen wishes Brittany would have shut her down and told her to talk to Karen about it. Brittany says she didn't realize they had a 25 year history. Brittany doesn't want to be part of any conflict between Karen and Drita. And Karen says the same way Drita should have gone to her, she thinks Brittany should sit down and talk to Renee and Carla about her issues. Brittany doesn't want to be instigated. Karen says their fathers are friends and she should sit down with the ladies and make this better. Brittany doesn't have a good attitude even though she says she will talk to them. Just what we needed on the show, a Drita wanna be.

Karen is motivated to do something with her father's artwork. She has taken all of it to the curator of a museum to look at. She really wants to show the world there's a different side to her father. The curator is very impressed with is work and the detail. Karen wants to do an exhibit and the curator is willing to show his work. She wants to select the pieces with Karen for a VIP opening. Karen is excited.

Ang is at the doctor for a check up. The doctor says she will be in pain for a while. He goes over her pathology report. He says she had lung cancer, but no lymph nodes were involved so she doesn't need chemo or radiation at this point. She will have to get regular scans to monitor her health. Ang is so happy she wants to go celebrate being cancer free. I am still in shock over Ang's passing. Every medical report that we heard was positive and yet her disease progressed so fast. It's surreal to watch her on the show knowing she is gone.

Who's immature?

Drita meets up with Brittany where she supposedly works, a pastry store. They talk about how great the fashion show went. Brittany fills her in about her meeting with Karen. Drita calls Karen a liar. Drita says Karen was cute when she was younger and got a lot of attention for being daughter the underboss. Drita says she will not talk to her about Karen. Brittany says she is going to talk to Carla and Renee. Drita says Carla is the most immature f*cking person. Well, as long as she doesn't talk about the ladies behind their backs, right? Brittany doesn't want Carla's face in her face giggling. Brittany says they have a stick up their asses because she is friends with Drita. I guess Brittany will never get that the others are trying to warn her to watch her back. They've all been burned in the past. Drita is not friend material. But, she will probably have to learn that lesson the hard way.

Renee goes for another ballroom dance lesson. She enjoys dancing, likes her partner and gets a few laughs out of it.

The day of Sammy's exhibit arrives. It's a full house. Carla and Ang show up. Karina is there. Ang is very impressed with the sketches. Marissa arrives. Ang tells them she is so excited, she is cancer free. No chemo! Carla is so happy to hear Ang's news. They all have a drink. Storm goes over and kisses Karen. He always has her back. He supports her dreams and vision and he supports her supporting her father. Karen says she didn't invited Brittany so the exhibit would be drama free. After meeting her the other day she still has issues with Carla, Renee and Marissa. Ang still thinks this should be resolved with a little sit-down. Carla really doesn't understand how Brittany thinks she is an instigator. Karen wants Brittany to tell them to her face what her problem is. Time to break bread or break heads?

The women, Karen, Renee, and Carla meet at DeStefano's Steakhouse in Brooklyn, to have a chat with Brittany. What a waste of a good meal. You know this isn't going to end good.  Carla is wearing a "bullet" on her necklace and Renee jokingly asks if she is "looking to shoot somebody tonight? Shoot to kill honey."  They are waiting for Brittany, who struts in a minute later. Renee wants to resolve their issues out of respect for Karen and Carla really wants to hear what she has to say before she takes a bite of steak. Karen is happy and pleasant, and tells Brittany she was telling the women about the fashion show and what Brittany did a great job. Renee adds her dig, "Sorry we missed it," knowing she wasn't invited on purpose. Brittany says it wasn't personal, she just wanted the experience to be positive. Renee says she was a little insulted.

Renee tries to break it down and explain to Brittany

Renee is annoyed because Karen asked her to accept Brittany and not cause problems, and she went against what she believed in because Karen is her friend. She welcomed her into her home and would have never caused a problem at her event. Brittany responds saying she just didn't want to hear anything about Marissa, her temper, and she feels every time they are together it's been brought up. Brittany implies that she fought with Marissa because of things that Renee and Carla said to her. Renee gets angry. There is no way Brittany is going to blame her or Carla for her wanting to fight Marissa. Brittany starts to mention the things Marissa called her and how Renee and Carla kept bringing it up, like the "flip-flopper" comment. Big Ang walks into the restaurant!

Mystery solved, or is it?

Carla says Angela was the one who said that Marissa called Brittany a flip-flopper, not her. Am I wrong? I love when Carla uses that expression! Ang goes over to sit with the ladies and says she hears a lot of yelling going and wants to know what's up. She wants them to make up and move on, all this arguing is crazy. Carla is glad to see Ang because she wants to clear something up. Ang immediately admits to being the one who said Marissa called Brittany a flip-flopper. Brittany answers they both said it. Brittany asks Carla if she is acting like she didn't say it. Renee and Carla are frustrated. Carla thinks Brittany is dense and can't get it through her head that it wasn't her or Renee who repeated what Marissa said, it was Ang. Brittany says she gets the vibe that Renee and Carla instigated the fight. Carla says that doesn't make sense. Brittany says at the baseball game Carla made a joke about the fight saying that's what happens when you stand up. Carla says she wasn't making a joke. Brittany keeps insisting it's her right to decide who instigated her into wanting to fight Marissa. Carla said she was just trying to give her advice, not laughing. Carla adds, she, Karen and Renee were trying to tell her how to have a conversation with Marissa, not fight with her. Brittany says everyone thinks Drita pumped her up, but she says she felt most aggravated after speaking to Renee and Carla. Sounds like Brittany's mind is made up and no talking, explaining or common sense is going to fix that.

Karen starts to say maybe this whole thing was a misunderstanding, but Brittany cuts her off saying maybe they just can't handle that she likes Drita.  Everyone says it's not about Drita at all. Renee says she doesn't care if Drita drops dead tomorrow. They don't like each other. Karen has a long history of bad blood with her. Renee says before making friends with someone and defending them you should get to know them first. No one cares if she is friends with Drita, that's not the point of this conversation. However, no matter what anyone says, Brittany is stuck on their issue being her friendship with Drita. They insist they don't care if she is friends with Drita. Carla mentions the word teacher. Brittany starts screaming who is my teacher? She turns to Carla and says maybe Drita was your teacher for three years. Carla gets irritated, she doesn't know anything about her friendship with Drita.

Brittany has had enough and walks out

Then Brittany says, "This is who I am you can takeout or f*ckin' leave it." Brittany gets up, things get louder. "Teacher, my ass." Everyone gets up. Brittany says to Carla, "you went hard for Drita for three years." Brittany says her friendship with Karen is done. Karen says she wants to tell Brittany something as she leaves. Karen says she should have listened to Renee from the get go. "Who knew Drita would flip this b*tch faster than the Feds flipped her mother?" Renee gets the satisfaction of being right.

Drita and Brittany meet in the park. Brittany is fed up and she is about to unload it all on Drita. Karen never told her not to like Drita. Drita says they always talk behind her back. Brittany tells her all the things Karen said about Lee in the boutique that ended with  "tell her, tell her, tell her." Drita goes ballistic. Drita promises to give Karen the beating of a lifetime. She is going to break Karen's jaw. Karen Gravano is dead, dead, dead. How many times have we heard that threat?

Mob Wives: Recap "Cuts Both Ways," Ep 608

Neil is a good guy

Watching Mob Wives with a heavy heart. It seems surreal that as we are grieving Ang, she is still bigger than life on our screens. Praying for her family. RIP Big Ang

Drita's house. She is complaining about Karen causing problems in her home and being obsessed with Lee. Delusional. She has finished the first draft of her book and is sending it to her agent. I'll believe it when I see it. She asks Giselle if she wants to check it out. Giselle doesn't seem interested. Smart kid. She asks Giselle what she wants for her birthday. She wants another dog. She tells her to ask Lee, she has him wrapped around her finger. Who thinks Drita is really writing a book? Not me. The thought of her sitting at her computer writing down her fake ass stories makes me laugh.

Renee's house. She sits down with AJ and shows him about three thousand dollars worth of traffic tickets. Whoa! His license is suspended in New Jersey. He pissed in the street and got a citation for $350. Renee is annoyed with his irresponsibility. AJ thinks she needs a hobby. She says he should stop getting tickets so she can afford a hobby.

Brittany spills the beans to Karen

Brittany meets up with Karen at a clothing store. Karen asks her if she invited Renee and Carla to her show. Brittany says no, she didn't want any drama. Karen says Brittany really doesn't understand these women, but she can invite who she wants. Brittany feels she needs to tell Karen about her meeting with Drita because Drita is riled up. Brittany tells Karen that, from what she understood, Marissa told Drita that Karen was bringing up the men. She tells Karen that Drita believes Karen is talking about the men . . . and in particular, "her man, Lee." Karen says, "The b*tch wants to start trouble. I'm not bringing up the men, B*tch." Brittany isn't clear exactly how the conversation went down between Drita and Marissa, but she does know everything was fine between Karen and Drita at the show and now Drita is flipping out. Karen is clear that Marissa said Drita was bringing up the men (which we all saw last week). Marissa said, "Drita was running her mouth in regards to her man reaching out to my man telling us girls to play nice." Brittany says she just wanted to give Karen the heads up because Drita was aggravated and there was some name calling, and Drita also said Karen was still hung up on Lee. Oh please! Let's get real! The only person on this planet hung up on Lee is Drita! Have you seen this dynamic duo in action? If not check out this recent blog, video included. Then you tell me who is "hung up" on Lee!

Has Karen ever been this angry?

Drita accuses Karen for the word on the street.

But now Karen is getting aggravated! She says "I'm done with this little pig b*tch!" Karen says she isn't hung up on her husband. She has a man and Lee could never be half the man he is (in more ways than one!). Karen doesn't give a f*ck about Lee. Karen says Drita is obsessed with her, she wants to do everything she does. She wants to write a book and she is obsessed about the relationship Karen had with Lee. Karen says Drita should keep her name out of her mouth and she won't have a problem. If she keeps her name in her mouth then she and her b*tch ass husband will have a problem. "I know way too many secrets, B*tch!" Oh Karen please write another book and put all your secrets in there! BEST SELLER! Karen explains some history to Brittany. Twenty years ago when Sammy was in the witness protection program, Lee was making visits to go see him in Arizona. Her father was fighting with everyone in the New York mob. He told Lee if you want to be around my daughter you are going to have to prove to me what type of man you are and what camp you are in. When Lee couldn't take the heat, Lee ran. He high-tailed it out of there and he never turned around. And then he asked Karen not to speak to her father and she told him to go f*ck himself and she left. He was scared of what he was going to have to do, he was scared of the situation. He knows that in his f*cking heart. Now Brittany is really squirming because she feels she just started a war by telling Karen what Drita said. And she did.  Karen says this has escalated to a point where no one is going to be able to shut it down. She wants to bring men into it, we can bring men into it. "Her husband is a f*cking swindler, he's a snake, he's a rat, he's a bubble gum gangster, he's a fake. He can't even look in the mirror, he has no face. He's a b*tch too. That's why I saw him walking out of the dry cleaners the other day and he couldn't even look me in the eye. B*tch, your husband's a p*ssy."

Karen turns to the cameramen "You can film that mother-f*ckers!" "Your husband's a p*ssy. Tell her that. Tell her that. Tell her that . . ." I don't think we have ever seen Karen this angry in any other season. Better hire a few more body guards Jenn.

Ang's House. Ang is doing laundry and Neil arrives with a bouquet of roses to apologize and talk. She tells him she doesn't want that junk. She said she was scared to go to the doctor. She had to go alone to find out she had lung cancer. She was hurt. Neil said she never asks or tells him anything. He said he went to all her appointments and he had no idea this one was so serious. He thought is as just for blood tests.  Ang feels overwhelmed and Neil isn't doing enough. He tells her he is sorry and wants to come back home. He wants to be their for her to support her during her medical condition. Her health comes first for now. They make up. Watching this scene was heartbreaking. To be going through this serious health crisis, being overwhelmed and terrified, and continue on with the show in front of millions of people is unimaginable to me. I don't know where Ang found the strength and courage to put it all out there.

Carla, Karen and Renee are at the park playing bocci balls. Karen says she isn't in a good place. She starts to tell them about Drita, but wants to wait for Marissa because her name came up.  Karen tells them about Brittany's fashion show and how Renee and Carla weren't invited. She says she met up with Brittany in the city and told them everything Drita said about her. Marissa says all she did was ask Drita if she was the one talking about their men speaking on the phone. Carla gets angry and wants Brittany to stay in her lane. Renee agrees that Brittany should mind her own business. Karen is done with Drita. They weren't supposed to talk about each other. They made a truce at the warehouse and she never sticks to her word. Karen says Drita is the laughing stock of New York City with that husband of hers.Karen got that right. Karen drops a little bomb . . . Drita got a group people arrested because she was f*cking someone and Karen adds you want to talk about men? Let's get started. Renee says this is a f*cking 911 problem now. Hire some more bodyguards Jenn.

Back to the doctor's office. Neil goes with Ang to the doctor to discuss the lung cancer surgery. The doctor describes the procedure. First they will remove the cancerous lesion and then the top half of the lung where it was located. If it's in the lymph nodes then she will need chemotherapy. Ang is scared. She already had too much surgery and doesn't want any more.

Renee takes AJ's advice and goes for some dancing lessons. She says she was always good at dancing. The instructor wants her to look at him not her feet. She has to trust him, he says. She says then you are f*cked because I trust no one. Renee has some great moves!  Dancing With The Stars are you watching???  Renee is having so much fun, she should have done this years ago.

Carla and Ang go furniture shopping. Ang is the Queen decorator and Carla meds her advice. Ang tells her about the lung surgery and how anxious she is. Carla says Ang has gone through a lot. Ang tells her about Karen flipping out. The whole story comes out about Drita trying to blame Karen for talking about the men. Ang thought this was all resolved and they came to a truce. Carla is angry that Brittany talked sh*t about Karen to Drita when she brought her into the group. Ang thinks Marissa and Brittany should mind their own business. Carla and Ang think that Drita and Karen need to talk this out. They both feel there will be a war if they don't hash it out. Hey Jenn, hired another dozen bodyguards!

Karen's House. Karen wants to spend quality time with Karina and put the Drita BS to the side. Karen takes out all the packages her father sent her with his drawings. He spent 7 years in solitary confinement and spent the time creating art. His work is amazing. It kills Karen that Karina doesn't know her father as well as she should. Karen wants to show his work to the public because they  they only know one side of him, as the most notorious underboss in the New York mob.

Ang drops in at Drita's store for lipstick.  She tells her she is having another surgery. Drita tells her not to think anything negative. Drita knows she will survive and come out on top. Ang tells her there is a big problem brewing between her and Karen. Drita feels Karen has a hard on for her and her marriage. Delusions. Ang tells her that Carla says Karen isn't talking about anything. Drita is screaming about people getting in her business. She is flipping out and prepared to attack. Drita says she has been too nice for too long and they are going to be snapped in half.  She was nice?  She holds up a lipstick and screams, this is Carla! Looks like Carla has been promoted from mothball to lipstick. Drita doesn't want anyone talking about Lee. Next time Lee is mentioned out of Karen's mouth she will make her eat it and put her back in witness protection. Those are some mighty big fighting words! Jenn put the bodyguards number on speed dial!

Ang helps out with he disrobing of the "peeshee" for the sake of art

Art Class anyone?

Karen wants to help Ang get her mind off all the negativity. Karen set up an "art experience" for the girls as a distraction. It works! There is a teacher and she says they will be drawing a nude model. Woo Hoo! They girls all have smiles on their faces. They ask Ang to come up and ask her to help the model, Kurt, take his pants off. Ang doesn't hesitate for a second. Bad Bing, bada boom Kurt is exposed and so is little Kurt! Kurt poses and Carla wants to know what they are drawing? Ang says  "his peeshee." They keep talking about his "peeshee," and then instructor tells them there are no bad drawings so they don't have to "rub" anything out. Ang is having a great time. Karen finds out she doesn't have her father's artistic talent. I think Karen did a great job all the same. Maybe I will do a blog analyzing these drawings. What do you say?

That's our Ang!

She never lost her sense of humor.

It's the morning of Ang's surgery. Neil and Ang drive to the city to NYU Langone. Her mind is overwhelmed. All she can think about is her children and grandchildren. She is the glue that holds them together. Will she ever see them again? Ang is so glad to have Neil there supporting her. She can't do this by herself. She says she had a full life, but she isn't done here. She wants to see her grandchildren grow up. Neil tells her she'll be fine. This hits very close to home for me. I'm in tears because I know exactly how Ang feels at this moment. We have to find a cure for this disease in our lifetimes so our children will never know what's it's like to lose any one to cancer. RIP Ang.

Mob Wives: Recap "Staten Island Sea Hags," Ep 508

"Let's handle it "one on one B*tch!"

Last week ended with a big bang. Karen throws the table and grabs Gnatalie’s hair after hearing her continue to deny doing anything wrong and saying, “If you can’t handle it, come at me.” Karen takes her up on it. Security rushes in and saves Gnat. Karen isn’t done, she follows Gnat out. She wants to handle it “one on one” . . .

And now for the recap . . . Everyone is walking away from the restaurant. Gnat wipes the blood off her face. Karen goes running after Gnat, she wants to talk to her “one on one b*tch.” Gnat keeps walking straight to her car and scurries off like a rat. Karen says next time she will kill her when she sees her, and she can take her rat ass back to Philly. Drita is pissed because this is the beginning of a war now that blood was drawn. Ang says this is why you don’t talk about family, things will never be the same again.

But the "RAT"alie scurries off!

At Gnat’s apartment. London walks in. She made him a drink and tells him about her meeting with Karen and being attacked. He notices the scratches on her face and is pissed. Gnat, in her delusional point of view, says Karen couldn’t admit to anything she did to her and all of a sudden she flipped the table. Gnat said she didn’t come to fight, but Karen lost. London says someone puts their hands on you, it’s over.  Then she tells him about what Renee said. Gnat is crazy, she thinks Renee left it open for them to make up. Renee said she gave her a thousands chances to “ring her bell” and apologize and she didn’t. It’s over. But Gnat didn’t get it at all! She apparently doesn’t understand English. There is too much water under that bridge. Gnat thinks she has some kind of a bond with Renee. Gnat completely misunderstood what Renee said, and thinks Renee left the door wide open instead of slamming it in her face. Gnat tells London that Karen went there to fight, she went there to talk. Well, she got that right, she wouldn’t stop talking long enough to hear what anyone had to say, until the tables turned! Gnatalie calls Karen a lot of nasty names.

Renee reads Junior's letter to AJ

Renee’s house. She calls Nikole. Renee tells her she found a letter Junior wrote to AJ. She reads part of it. He misses AJ. He lists all his crimes and says he is facing life with parole. Renee says she would rather Junior be dead than a rat. She is worried AJ will suffer for his father’s sins.  Renee is very upset. Junior is about to get sentenced and he testified against Ang’s cousin. She is afraid he could walk free. Renee wants him locked up. Next time she finds a letter she is going to her attorney.

Picking out calendar pictures

At Drita’s house. Drita says she is stressed out over Gnat and Karen's situation. She feels Gnat was looking for a fight and pressing all Karen's buttons. She is going to relax by going through the calendar pictures and hanging out with Aleeya and Giselle. It’s always great to see Drita laughing with her girls. Drita wants to have a little calendar party to celebrate. Drita hopes the calendar will be successful and help Lady Boss grow.

"They're all washed up sea hags."

Natalie D shows up to meet Karen for lunch. Karen wants to know more about the Gnat and she fills her in about her meeting with the girls. She tells her Gnat had a smug attitude and acting real cocky. Karen says she felt she was in kindergarten. Gnat kept saying Karen started it. Karens says she flipped the table on her. She explains to Natalie D that Ang and Drita didn’t say a word while she and Gnat were going back and forth. Neither one of them tried to mediate when they could see they weren't getting anywhere. "It's like they like the middle." NatalieD says Drita and Ang go hard for Gnat. She is a lowlife. Natalie D says she overheard a call to her boyfriend from Gnat. It was on speakerphone and Natalie D heard her talking about the girls, saying, "I don't know why Natalie D wants to hang put with these girls, at the end of the day they are all wash ups, they're all sea hags." Natalie D says she wants to skin her like a bear. Karen thinks Ang and Drita should hear the story from a Philly girl.

Storm is all for the medical marijuana business

Karen and Storm are sitting by the water. Karen wants to focus on her life and goals for the future. She says she was on the phone with her attorney discussing starting a medical marijuana business in Arizona. She thinks she can get the business started even though she is in New York. She and Storm are discussing names for the business. Karen said she did some illegal things in the past, but now she wants to do everything legally. Karen says she and Karina will be going to AZ soon because her brother Gerard opened a restaurant and she will look into it while they are there.

"What did you hear Gnatalie say?"

Natalie D is at the gym in Philly and Drita walks in. Drita heard from Karen that Gnat was talking about the girls and she wants to hear want Natalie D has to say. They sit down to talk it out. Natalie thinks Drita is cool and tough and tells it like it is. They talk about “fighting” like old friends. Drita wants to know what she heard Gnat say. Natalie says this is what happened, Gnat probably heard I was at your magazine party and she called my boyfriend again and he puts it on speaker. She said, "Drita, Ang, Renee, Karen they're sea hags." "You heard her say that?" "Word for word." "If she f*ckin said that I will crack her head the f*ck wide open." Natalie says, "100% I swear to God I should die right now, I can't make this sh*t up." Drita is bugging out over the fact she and Ang are being abused when they have been defending Gnat. Natalie D says Gnat has no heart, she turns on people, and she wants to knock her f*ckin’ chicklets out. Drita does not look happy.

Renee is sick over Junior’s sentencing situation so she goes shopping with her friend Tiffany for a distraction. Karen meets up with Renee at the store to tell her in person that Junior got sentence. He got 11 years. Renee has to sit down, she gets a little dizzy. She is happy that she can have peace for 11 years. Renee is glad her son is going to be away from a “monster.” She doesn’t want her son subjected to or be influenced by a rat.

Karen says the blessing

Karen is at her brother’s new restaurant, with their family, to celebrate before the place opens. They all toast to the success of the restaurant. Karen’s mom tells stories of how her kids used to sneak out the window at night in Staten Island. One night she and Sammy hear a noise and Sammy goes out with a gun, when it suddenly dawns on her it’s the kids and stops Sammy. They could have gotten shot. Karen brings up the medical marijuana business that she is considering starting. Karen’s mom flips out. She doesn’t think the name Gravano and marijuana is a good idea and is very worried. Karen says it’s perfectly legal. Karen’s mom thinks Arizona will be all over her daughter. She says that Karen is killing her.

"I'm used to it by now"

But Renee is very emotional, her son doesn't have

a dad like the one she had.

Renee and AJ are at the house. Renee is concerned for AJ, he has been quiet since he got the news about Junior being sentenced for 11 years. Renee asks him how he feels about it. He says what is there to talk about? Renee says she thinks he deserves that time for what he did. AJ says he hasn’t seen his father for half his life so he is used to it by now. Renee is emotional for her son. It’s heartbreaking to watch. I think Renee feels guilty for bringing AJ into this life, but she did a damn good job raising him practically alone under extremely difficult circumstances. I think Renee should focus on the future she is building and try to put the past behind her, for both their sakes.

Drita jumps on the all against Gnat band wagon

Big Ang, Renee go to support Drita’s calendar party. Drita is so excited, the pictures are amazing. Karen can’t come, she is in AZ. Drita did invite Gnat because it was before the fight. Renee says she can't sit near her if she comes, she doesn't like her. Ang says, "Sometimes you just gotta forgive." Drita says Ang, this is how I feel. You forgive people you have history with or family, Gnatalie  is nothing to Renee. Did I just hear that? Gnat is nothing? Ang doesn’t seem happy about it. Drita says she is not important enough to Renee to forgive her and honestly I'm not going to keep fighting for her, she is not important enough for me either. I'm tired of that Ang." Wow, finally! I wish Karen was there to hear that!  Drita is sick of sticking up for Gnat when everyone else has an issue with her. Ang is sick and tired of everyone ganging up on Gnat.

And there it is, delusional Gnat's text message!

Renee gets a text message from Gnat! Unbelievable! Drita thinks it's f*cking weird! Gnat is texting to “ring Renee’s bell,” and adds dinner and drinks her treat. Wow! Gnat is freaking demented. There will be an Ice Age in Hell before Renee goes to dinner with Gnat or thinks about making up. Ang is still defending Gnat and Renee tells her she is f*ckin’ nuts. Natalie D shows up. Renee tells her the about the “ringing the bell” conversation. Natalie D says Gnat texting Renee is a f*cking joke. Ang says she is trying.

Natalie D says, "You go hard for her."

Natalie D tells them Gnat said, word for word, “why would she want to be friends with sea hags from Staten Island?” Ang doesn’t believe it. She says Gnat wasn’t talking about her and Drita.  Drita tells Ang she has a problem with that. Natalie D says she heard her say all their names and she also said they are “old sea hags, f*ckin washed up.” Natalie D says, “I’m just letting you know she is not who she says she is.” Drita says she is finished with Gnat. Ang gets mad at Drita. Ang isn’t happy with Natalie D, she says she is just there to stir up the pot. Drita tells Ang she better open up her ears. I got some Q-Tips if Ang needs them! Both Renee and Drita find it odd that Gnat suddenly wants to be Renee's friend. Drita cannot believe Ang doesn't see that something is f*cking going on with Gnatalie! Ang takes off in a disgusted huff, "I'm not here to talk about Gnatalie, I'm here for the f*ckin' calendar, where are the f*ckin pictures?" I honestly got the impression that Natalie D had more to say about Gnat, but for some reason it was cut out. I can’t see Drita totally flipping out for being called a “washed up sea hag.”  Drita was getting some flack on her Twitter timeline last night from fans for turning on Gnat. But, Drita admitted on Twitter, that there was more to it.

Hmmm, a lot more to it!

Great little sneak peek of Episode 8, "Staten Island Sea Hags!" Karen goes to meet with Natalie D. to learn more about the Gnat. She tells her about their fight on the boat and how Drita and Ang were saying nothing and letting it all play out. Natalie D. has a few things she wants to share, including the fact that Gnat is bad mouthing all the women in the circle, calling them washed up sea hags! We are going to get an earful!

Ramona fills the girls in on Sonja's debt crisis

And tonight’s episode is called “Unforgivable Debt,” undoubtedly because Sonja is drowning in a sea of bills she can’t pay, while she continues to live the carefree, luxurious lifestyle of the rich and famous. The only thing she seems to cut corners on are costumes for burlesque shows and Mermaid parades. She should write a book on how to do that, I’d buy it!

So what the hell happens tonight? Sonja has a get together at her “borrowed house” in the Hamptons. Ramona and Aviva are coming over for brunch. Ramona calls to say she can’t come over, she has to rest. Sonja is pissed. Sonja and Aviva sit around the pool. Sonja is looking for Ramona’s support but thinks Ramona is projecting her unhappiness on her. Sonja is hurt. If she doesn’t know the self absorbed Ramona by now, she never will.

Ramona is hanging out with LuAnn and Carole at a Designer’s House event, raising money for breast cancer awareness. LuAnn has developed the skillful art of putting up with Ramona over the years. Ramona throws a plate in the pool. Is it turtle time? Luann says “it’s a designer house not a frat house.” Ramona reveals to the girls that Sonja was going to sell the house, but since she hasn’t, the court has now decided it will sell it for whatever they want. Sonja debts will not be forgiven and Ramona says it’s a sad state of affairs. Sonja is emotionally attached to her house. LuAnn was surprised and not too pleased that Ramona would reveal Sonja’s business to them. Is anyone else surprised? Ramona likes to talk about everyone’s business, but her own. Maybe Sonja should tell us what went on with the Mario affair?

Holla Heather is waiting for Kristen and her son, Cash, to come over. Heather loves her great husband. He takes the kids while Heather, Kristen and Carole have some cheese, crackers and fruit. Carole tells them about the gossip Ramona just revealed regarding Sonja’s financial situation, and how the house is being sold out from under her. Carole thinks Sonja is in denial about it all. Heather doesn’t think that Ramona has Sonja’s back and she shouldn’t be talking about her issues. I think I need to teach a class in Ramona Singer 101. Doesn’t anyone know Ramona’s M.O.? Wasn’t it Heather who coined the term the “Singer Stinger?”

Does she still have some mileage in modeling?

Kristen is looking for a new agent, the old one isn’t getting her any modeling jobs. Her modeling career can’t be over just like that after 25 years, can it? Hmmm. The new agent, obviously lacking any sort of tact and diplomacy, says they are looking for younger women, but maybe she still has some mileage left. Who the hell says that? What is she a used car? He tells her to try secondary markets like Chicago and Milwaukee . . . what an insult. Kristen is disappointed that her career has peaked. Now what will she do? He suggests acting. You don’t suppose he knows she is on RHONY do you? I would have suggested modeling for products targeting middle age women, but what do I know.

Luann gets a headache after trying to figure out

Luann and Aviva are at a wine tasting and Ramona and Sonja are supposedly coming, but who knows with their track record of last minute cancellations? Luann finds her wine too pert, and Aviva says it too acidic, like urine. That comment raises the eyebrows of the server! Both Ramona and Sonja show up, how do you like that? Ramona feels Sonja is acting cold towards her. Luann asks Sonja about the sale of the house. Sonja says she doesn’t want to sell any house. Luann asks about the toaster oven. Sonja says her brand is much bigger than a toaster oven . . . whatever that means. No one is getting it. The four of them sit outside. Ramona tells Aviva she made peace with her because of the group. Aviva says is fine with everyone except Carole. Aviva complains that Luann is on the fence and doesn’t take sides, which she wants her to do. Sonja jabs Luann and says she is just a diplomat. Luann thinks Sonja is being nasty to her. Ramona says all Sonja’s business ventures never come to fruition because she is spread too thin. When the others try to get an understanding of Sonja’s business ventures by asking questions, Sonja loses her mind! She starts a rant that sounds like a free association game she is playing with herself. “Don’t you get it! Isn’t anyone listening? This is about my brand! It’s bigger than a  toaster oven! Toaster, place mats, napkins, yellow and white diamonds, shoes, handbags, gloves, skin care . . . Everything.” Okay, okay, we get it. Sonja is taking over the Amazon Market Place.

Heather is going after Spanx but

first things first: Tequila

Heather drops in on Carole with a six pack and tequila. I wish I had a friend who dropped by with tequila. Carole provides the pizza. I notice Carole never cooks, she always has food brought in. Heather discusses her patent infringement lawsuit. Who thought Spanx would want to take a poor girl’s three panel girdle? They get a little tipsy. Carole wants to get rid of her piano. She wants to make changes, refresh the home, and start new. They have a few more shots of tequila, which always helps friends sort things out.

Sonja cleans her toilet and bidet. Ramona pops in (at her own risk) to see her. Ramona has been waiting to have this conversation with Sonja, but Sonja hasn’t said a word. Ramona wants her to start looking for an apartment in case she has to move. Sonja says she has angels on her side. She tells Ramona you have to think positively and stay calm. Sonja says live in the moment not in fear. Ramona just wants her to be prepared. Sonja says she can take care of herself . . . Ramona thinks Sonja has her head in the sand and is avoiding reality. It’s like these two just met for the first time on last night’s episode. Sonja’s head has always been in the sand.

Harry comes over to Aviva’s for dinner because Harrison is going away to sleep away camp. Aviva’s little boy, Hudson, says, “I hate Harry.” He doesn’t like to be tickled. The first thing Harry does is tickle him. I think Hudson had the best line of the night. I’m not crazy about Harry either.

Baby Ben is a no show!

Sonja is meeting Baby Ben for dinner at six. She thinks he will give her support. Once again her head is in the sand. Well, Baby Ben is late . . . why didn’t he pick her up, I wonder to myself? Uh oh, it’s 6:50 PM and no Baby Ben, and no call. She has been stood up. When you have a boyfriend in college that’s bound to happen.

Carole's oven is cooking the books!

Carole has some construction guys over to check out her home, she wants to refresh it. Get rid of the office and make it a walk-in closet. The kitchen will become the office, says Carole . . . a genius idea! She never uses her kitchen anyway. Carole doesn’t cook. She says the only pot she uses is her tea pot. The construction guys have some reservations about this idea. After all, if she ever plans to sell the place , most people will want a kitchen. Carole doesn’t envision selling it, problem solved.

Kristen retaliates for the Pinot!

All the women meet at the spa to relax. Ramona comes prepared with her wine bottle and glass. Kristen is in the hot tub. Sonja hasn’t spoken to Baby Ben in days, maybe he is too young for her? Sonja thinks Ramona did something to stop him from calling. Ramona actually did call someone close to Ben. Ramona keeps saying how young Baby Ben is and says he could be her son, it’s incestuous. Aviva asks if Ramona is being judgmental and a meddler. Someone says Ramona is jealous and Kristen says, “yeah.“ Ramona throws her drink on Kristen for no reason at all. Kristen is appalled. She splashes Ramona, who just had her hair done for a party she is going to later. Ramona is just a little annoyed, almost like she expected it . . . Scripted?

Aging?

Ramona calls Kristen an instigator . . . Sonja yells at Ramona for taking Baby Ben away from her and throwing Pinot on Kristen. “Did Ramona miss that memo 65 years ago about no hitting?” asks Kristen. You know, now that Kristen mentions it, Ramona is looking like she aged a bit since last season. Either that, or her trip to Africa, Mario’s affair and Avery’s going to college, all took their toll on her. So far these 8 episodes have taken a toll on me!

P.S. I just wanted to point out that Aviva managed to get through an episode unscathed while Ramona is replacing her as the thorn in everyone’s side. I prefer it this way. I find Ramona much better at being annoying. I think she has had more practice!
