Mob Wives: Karen & Carla Share Ang's Final Moments

Karen and Carla were at Ang's bedside hours before she passed. They talk about her final moments, the woman she was, and how they found comfort in the way she was loved by millions. They say Ang wouldn't want people to grieve her passing, but to celebrate her life.

In private moments, sharing our grief over the loss of Ang, a friend of mine posted this picture of Ang, saying it was her favorite. I had never seen it before, but it felt so perfect at the moment. To see Ang in this way, looking so free and happy, with her wings spread and ready to soar. It gave me a little peace and comfort.

Here is another video which is longer:

Mob Wives: Karen Wants Sit Down with Gottis

Karen asking for a real sit down not a twitter war.

Here's what Karen said on the show: "this is a plot from them, to sway the judge into making a bad decision.” She adds, "Honestly, I'm so over the Gottis -- always pointing the finger; Sammy this, Sammy that. They need to realize and take responsibilty for what their father did."

In episode 4 Karen Gravano says she is fed up and tired of the Gottis pointing fingers at her father, Sammy Gravano, for what happened years ago. She says, they never take responsibility for what John Gotti did. When Victoria Gotti, Jr. was on Mob Wives, she mentioned the "Sammy Deal" which she described as cooperating for lighter sentence. And recently, when Karen tried to get her father out under a new early release law, Victoria Gotti, Sr. said Sammy should have gotten a life sentence for violating his deal. Karen has wanted to tell the real story of what happened between her father and John Gotti for years. She says she has the facts to back her up. There are FBI tapes to back her up. There are dozens of articles and books about what happened that led up to Sammy Gravano accepting a plea deal. Sammy says he was prepared to go to jail for life, but after hearing the FBI Gotti tapes and thinking about it for a year, he finally agreed to testify. All of this spilled over to Twitter Friday, and here is what happened:

The Tweet that got it started

and Karen's responses

Referring to Victoria Gotti, Jr.

Karen is 100% right, the history between these two families is too long to deal with on social media in small tweet bites. This requires a real sit down. I don't know how many times Karen has said she would love to address these issues and put all the facts on the table. In Sammy Gravano's 1997 interview with Diane Sawyer, he tells her what happened and why he finally decided to cooperate. Diane Sawyer is professional journalist. She did her homework before the interview. I believe that if Sammy said anything that was not based on truth, she certainly would have challenged it. The explanation starts at the 46 minute mark, but the entire historic interview is well worth watching.

Of course, such a sit down between the daughters of Gravano and Gotti would be epic and every smart television network would probably be in a bidding war for the rights to produce it and air it. Maybe the Gottis should take Karen up on her offer if they believe they are right?  There may be plenty of money to be made for all involved and the truth can finally come out once and for all. Maybe we can even convince Diane Sawyer to come out of retirement to moderate?

UPDATE: This just in, a new tweet from Karen to Victoria Gotti, Jr.  More facts!

Mob Wives: Karen & Brittany The Last Straw

Back in better days

Karen Gravano introduces Brittany to the rest of the cast in Season 6 Mob Wives, "The Last Stand." Karen knows Brittany because both of their fathers are friends and did time together. There is a family tie there. Karen also relates to Brittany because she was in her shoes twenty years ago. Both of their fathers cooperated and the girls were being judged for it. Karen seems to take Brittany under her wing and, while they were filming, we saw many pictures of them together hanging out and having a good time. Something changed all that and last night we saw what it was.

Brittany decides to befriend Drita. Despite her friendship with Karen and everything Karen and the others have told her, she decides to throw caution to the wind and hang out with Drita. She likes Drita even though she just met her and knows her for all of five seconds. She disrespects her friendship with Karen and shows she has no loyalty to her at all. Last night, after a whole season of filming, Karen and Brittany exchanged a few ugly tweets. Here, in the "Twitter After Show," is the nasty little twitter war for you to read.

First Brittany accuses Karen of not knowing Marissa

Karen sees just how loyal Brittany is

Karen decides to put the truth out there

Karen is in BLUE, Brittany is in GRAY

Brittany has a "mind of her own" and she made her choice loud and clear. Let's see how long this friendship with Drita lasts, maybe as long as season 6 . . . then Brittany may become the NEW "mothball" and they won't be friends "like that" any more.

Mob Wives: Season 6 Who Gets Along?

Karen and Brittany have hit it off . . .

Mob Wives Season 6 will not premiere until December 2015, but we are already getting the "picture" of who is getting along and all smiles. Here are a few pictures from the cast's Twitter accounts that show a mix of Original Girls (old blood) and the New Additions (newer blood). What the hell can these storylines be?

Maybe because they are both Mob Daughters?

Brittany's mother, Andrea Giovino, seems totally supportive of her daughter's new role on Mob Wives. You may recall part of Andrea's story from "I Married A Mobster."  Andrea has quite a long history with the mob herself, as does Brittany's father, John Fogarty.

Once again, Renee, Karen and Marissa are hitting it off!

If Karen says we will be happy with the new girls I trust her!

Looks like Marissa and Carla are tight too!

I wonder if Marissa and Carla got together outside of filming to give their pups a play date? Looks like everyone is getting along . . . well, at least 5 of the Mob Wives are.

But is Karen hinting about some drama that Marissa isn't aware of yet?

Why wouldn't Marissa be happy? Something must be going down for Karen to say that, and Karen also posted a picture of herself with this tweet . . . I wonder what it means?

Karen looks pretty serious

Meanwhile, Renee hasn't been posting much about Season 6 and yet she managed to sum it all up in a nutshell. Last night she tweeted this before going to bed and telling us she had a day of filming today.

I wonder who "they" are???

And last but not least, both Brittany and Marissa post pictures of themselves with their boyfriends on their birthdays. I wonder if the guys will make an appearance on the show?

Two lucky guys!

P.S. I hope Drita has been continuing her boxing lessons because at least one person in this alliance appears to have a great left hook and she doesn't look like she is going to be afraid to use it!

Mob Wives: Karen Says "Bye Felicia"

Since the Season 5 Mob Wives Reunion show people have been asking who is going to be in the cast for Season 6. Who is coming back and who isn't? More specifically, the fans (and I) have been wanting confirmation of the three month old rumors about whether or not Natalie Guercio will be returning or not. Well today, if you can believe what's on Twitter and can read between the lines, it seems that Gnat is sitting this season out. The following tweets were on Gnat's timeline, along with about 50 fans lamenting over the news that she will not be back.

Her storyline? Calling Karen a "rat."

and her plan is?

Adios!

None of the cast seems broken up by the news, most of them aren't saying anything yet. But Marissa Jade took a little vague shot about the rumors when she tweeted

And, as you might expect, Karen had a little something to say about this new development. As you recall, Gnat provoked Karen on Twitter many times even before meeting her during the filming of season 5. She called her a "dead beat mother" and "rat" more times than I could count. Then she made herself a storyline by calling Karen a "rat" the whole season. She continued to provoke Karen and then run away from almost every confrontation. Here are a few of Karen's tweets regarding Gnat:

"Rat" storyline

OGs real ties, real history!

Bye Felicia!

Mob Wives: Big Ang on Wife Swap Tonight!

Tonight Big Ang stars in Wife Swap and she seems to be very taken with Hollywood star, George Hamilton. Looks like George took Ang to see his "star." I predict an episode with lots of laughs and how could it not be funny with Ang and her one liners. Here are a couple of more pictures:

I'll be watching!
and guess who else will be watching?

So tune in, you'll be in great company!

In other news, Karen takes a selfie this morning as she seems to be getting ready for more filming of Season 6. Then she ends a tweet to Natalie Didonato!

And

Now what can this mean?

As always, I asked Karen if this "dinner" was business or pleasure; and as usual Karen's lips are sealed. You can't blame a blogger for trying.

If you haven't met Big Ang and are going to be in Brooklyn Saturday, you just may have your chance! Check this out and make plans with your friends.

Don't forget to tune in tonight at 10PM on ABC to watch Big Ang on Wife Swap!
