Last week Jacqueline and Chris Laurita, along with Matt and his wife Jodi Holmes presented an united front during the where is your life going intervention of their 20 year old daughter Ashley Holmes. Ashley’s out of control behavior has been the storylines of The Real Housewives of New Jersey season 3. Jacqueline and Chris have tried very hard to address this situation with dignity and help their daughter make better choices.  After the recent arrests the aspect of Matt Holmes being a good influence on Ashley is questionable.  Matt was shown to be a loving and devoted father. Since the tapping of the show Ashley allegedly went to live with her father in Texas and residing there when Matt and Jodi were arrested.

The Real Housewives of New Jersey: Disrespectful Daddy's Girl

Ashley Holmes the defiant, lazy, spoiled (I could go on but you get where I'm going, right?) 20 year old daughter of Jacqueline Laurita of The Real Housewives of New Jersey gets a surprise visit from her biological father Matt Holmes.


The happy reunion is short lived through when Ashley joins both sets of parents for lunch only to find out it’s an intervention. As each of her parents conveys their concerns, Ashley gets more annoyed. Jacqueline, who has sat quiet until the end tries to explain how Ashley disrespects her and makes her feel like a loser. Ashley justifies her actions arrogantly saying it’s hard to be lectured about poor decisions from someone who made her own mistakes. Using the example that she doesn’t have a kid at 20 like her mother did. OUCH!!!.

It’s obvious this selfish, spoiled, ungrateful, manipulating adult brat has the upper hand. But who’s to blame? Are Jacqueline and Chris to blame for rewarding her bad behavior? Is her absentee father responsible for not being more present in her life? And where was Aunt Caroline with all her motherly advice when this child was 14? I'm curious. How would you react to your kid treating you like this? Me, well…Mommy don’t play! I’m old school, know what I’m saying? I would've had that child by the hair! The next time, she'd think twice before disrespecting me again.
