Mob Wives: Recap "Season 6 Finale of The Last Stand" Ep 610

and Carla, Karen and Renee walk off to the Big Big BANG

while the cheese stands alone

I cannot believe this is the last show of the last season of Mob Wives! We started this blog almost 5 years to the day, just before season one premiered in April, 2011. It's been a long, long ride. It started with two friends who met online and wanted to write something together for fun. We got a whole lot more than a hobby out of it. We met and spoke with all the Mob Wives at one time or another, and the show's Executive Producer, Jennifer Graziano. We made friends with other diehard fans who shared our views and opinions and with many who didn't. It's been quite an experience to say the least. Thank you to all our loyal readers for sharing your thoughts on the show and it's cast week after week. We appreciate all of you. And now for the recap . . .

And away we go!

It's the last night of Renee's Ballroom dancing so she invited the girls to her recital. This is the new, improved Renee. In come Carla, Marissa, and Karen with a bouquet of flowers. AJ and his girlfriend arrive. Renee comes out with her instructor and they are doing the Rhumba! Renee seems a little nervous, but she performs flawlessly. Everyone is impressed with Renee's dancing skills. Renee is proud of herself. She is proving she can do anything. She thanks everyone for coming. It's great to see Renee really happy and enjoying life after all we have seen her go through. AJ's dancing idea was brilliant and I'm glad she listened to him. Now, if we could only get Dancing With the Stars to give her a call, we could get Renee back on our screens and give me something to blog about!

Delusions?

Ang's House. Drita arrives. She has that Orange Glow (not the furniture polish, at least I don't think so). Ang is making her coffee. Ang finds it hard to breathe since the lung surgery. Ang says she is trying to keep positive now that she found out she is cancer free. Without skipping a heartbeat, Drita tells Ang about the things Brittany told her that Karen said about Lee. Drita is "really really really pissed off." Ang says Marissa swears she never told Drita it was Karen who said the men (Lee and OZ) talked to each other about the girls playing nice. Drita is even more angry and thinks Marissa is out of her mother f*ckin' mind. Drita insists Marissa told her Karen said it. Too bad the world saw Marissa tell all the ladies, and then Drita herself, the story of the men talking and Karen's name did NOT come out of her mouth . . . it came out of Drita's! In fact the way I remember it is, Marissa tells Drita word on the street is the men were talking. Drita says, who could have put that out there? Not Renee, not Carla. I'll tell you who did it . . . Karen Gravano! Then Drita really loses it! Drita says this is my f*cking island [Staten Island]. Karen has to move and she says she will torture her until she moves. She's gonna kick her the f*ck out. Drita is screaming about Karen and Marissa like she is out of her mind. Now she is done with the two of them. Poor Ang. Does Drita ever think of anyone but herself? Seriously? She wants to go ape sh*t about Karen and Marissa in Ang's kitchen when she is still recuperating from her surgery, dealing with cancer and hates fighting? How about taking the petty problems that you created in your imagination, to Dr. Phil and leave Ang in peace? Maybe Dr. Phil can shrink her head?

Karen and Karina go driving. Karen wants Karina to get some practice parking. Karina isn't taking it too seriously. Karina looks at Karen more like a friend than a mother. Karen wants to know how she got her permit, she doesn't understand some of the basics, like parallel parking. Karen seems a little stressed, like my father when he tried to teach me to drive. Karen says because Karina is in the same school as Aleeya she is concern that this war with Drita is going to spread to the next generation. Karen here's a tip, send Karina to Driver's Ed and then get her extra driving lessons before you try teaching her anything.

Is this Marissa?

Drita's house. She even more orange now if that's possible. Maybe she ate too many carrots? Drita calls Marissa. When Marissa answers, Drita isn't sure who the hell she called because she is "bent." Who is this? Is this Marissa? she asks. Marissa is confused, the last time they talked they had a good conversation and now Drita is mad. Drita isn't even making any sense, just ranting on and on and on. Drita wants to meet up with Marissa, Brittany, Karen to find out who said what. Marissa wants to know why she needs her minion, Brittany, there? Drita calls Karen a rat. Marissa says you know you are hanging out with a family of rats, right? Drita is screaming in Marissa's ear the whole time with lots of cursing and threats.

Oooo you sound really mad, huh?

Marissa says her classic line "You sound really mad, huh?" All the 99 veins in Drita's head and neck are popping out. Marissa says she doesn't understand her Napoleon complex, if anyone should be mad it should be her because Drita has her name in her mouth. Drita goes on the rant of rants, screaming and cursing even more. All I know is someone in that crew needs to call 911 before she has a stroke. Drita wants the meeting to happen tomorrow and she is yelling at the cameraman and whatever crew happens to be there. I think they all should get hazard pay.

aka Brittany

"The Meeting." Drita and Brittany are driving to meet Karen and Marissa. Drita is bent out of shape. Still. She is going to show everyone what the f*ck Karen is all about. She is her boss. That's Drita's new game. Wait! What? Drita thinks she is Karen's boss? And get this, she is going to tell her what to do and what to say! Hell no! Karen tells Marissa that Drita can't win with her words because she is a liar, a fraud, and a snake. Karen says Drita will not disrespect her. If she wants to fight her she will fight her, but first they need to talk about it. They have a lot of history.  Marissa would respect Drita if Drita would say she thought she heard her say Karen's name, but if she didn't then it's her bad. I can guarantee that will never happen. Drita was the one who concluded it had to be Karen and we all saw it. And Drita can go back and rewatch the episode if she has any doubts now.

Meanwhile, Carla, who isn't at this meeting, is worried about the outcome, she thinks they are going to kill each other. Drita tells Brittany she is taking it old school, no more nice guy. Drita makes all kinds of threats on the way to the meeting. Tonight they are going to find out who the boss is. Karen says Drita can't deal with he truth. Karen says Drita doesn't want to fight Karen, she wants to fight the truth and she can't win. They all arrive at the restaurant.

Drita tells Brittany she welcomed Karen with open arms years ago. She is so mad now. Karen has been backstabbing, lying and talking about her and her husband. Karen says she let Drita into their world and the fact Karen knows her all too well terrifies her. Drita starts screaming as soon as Karen walks into the restaurant and calls her a rat. Marissa wants to have a conversation and tries to get one started about who said the men were talking. She barely gets started when Brittany starts verbally attacking Marissa trying to goad her into fighting. No one can get a word in with Brittany screeching and then Drita joining in. Karen and Marissa remain calm waiting for the conversation. Drita keeps yelling across the table at Karen. Karen keeps calling Drita a "dumb b*tch," saying she called the meeting but doesn't talk.

Drita screams at security that she doesn't need them there. She starts screaming at Karen. The "Fight" breaks out with Drita lungeing at Karen over the table and Brittany making a dive at Marissa. Security guards jump in and grab each of the women. Karen says the fact Drita just wants to fight and not talk proves she can't handle the truth. She doesn't want to hear the truth, she is a disloyal b*tch. Karen tells Drita she never ratted on anybody, if she did Lee would be in jail. Karen says no one likes Lee, they talk bad about him on the street, he cheats on Drita. Karen says she isn't scared of the truth. Karens yells to Drita, "You are irrelevant B*tch, I showed up to tell you that." Karen says Drita is all about the theatrics. Karen says she created a fake persona, fake green screen monster, gangster b*tch, lady boss. "She's a fake, fraud, rat b*tch." Drita says Karen came back to SI to make trouble and to talk about Drita and Lee. She is going to smack her and call her out every time she sees her. And then everyone goes their separate ways since no conversation will be happening.

Well, nothing came out of that at all. Drita is all worked up about things that never happened. She made up her mind Karen started the rumor between Lee and OZ, when she made it up. Karen did not come back to Staten Island to talk about Drita and Lee. She came back to be on the show to help her friend Jenn out because her name was the big draw for production and viewers. She came to have a platform and exposure for her book. She came back at great personal sacrifice of having to leave her daughter behind in order to be able to give her daughter a better life. She didn't come back to talk about Lee and Drita. If you read her book, they are barely mentioned in it. They are insignificant in the overall story of her life. I don't know how Drita can believe Karen would care enough about her and Lee to come back to Staten Island? In fact, all Karen tried to do was to talk to Drita and try to reestablish their friendship, but Drita wasn't having it. I think Drita felt jealous and threatened by Karen and maybe even guilty because she married her ex and never had the decency to tell her. But what do I know? Anyway, the finale tries to wrap up the loose ends in the last minutes. Frankly, we needed at least two more episodes to give us satisfaction and closure. This season was just too rushed.

Two months later.  Time to wrap things up.

Karina has been booked for a huge modeling gig and Karen has been focused on her daughter.  Karen says they are very close and she considers her her best friend. Karens says she doesn't speak to Drita since that night. Drita knows nothing about loyalty. Karen says she grew up in the lifestyle and now she understands it is about loyalty, a brotherhood and protecting your family. Those are the core values in life. She says she is connected to Renee, Ang and Carla by the lifestyle they grew up in. She wants her family to come together and be successful. Karen's crime? Giving the wrong people respect.

Renee is in the best place in her life that she has been in the last 6 years. She is going to keep moving forward. She says the group girls have been through so much, good times, bad times, ups and downs, some will remain friends and others won't. AJ is her entire world. She is impressed by her son. Renee says her crime is falling in love with the lifestyle that was made for men.

Carla says her life has changed so much the last 5 years. Her kids are her life. They are 13 now. She doesn't regret growing up in the lifestyle, but she doesn't want it for her kids. She just wants them to be successful and smart, and be their own person. Carla says she is extremely loyal. Her crime, being loyal to a fault.

Drita calls Lee down to dinner and we see a man come down the stairs, but they don't show his head. I think we've seen enough of Lee in the parking lot, don't you? Drita feels her family has been in the best place it's ever been. Drita says it's all about protecting your family. Drita says Karen is a back stabbing, story telling b*tch is irrelevant to her life. Ang was always a true friend to her. She doesn't want to change anything in her life right now. Drita's crime, staying in love with a former professional bank robber. (Gag).

Ending with Big Ang and her family, talking about the difficult road ahead with her health issues.

What's done, is done. And the Big Big Bang scene with Renee, Karen and Carla walking down the street, they stop for a second and turn to look at Drita who is off to the side, then turn back and continue walking! Drita is left standing alone. Is it me or did anyone else think Drita was sad, maybe even crying, before that scene was filmed?  In those few seconds the show really summed up everything. That was brilliant!

We would like to thank Executive Producer, Jennifer Graziano, for creating this show and putting everything she had into it. The concept was amazing and puts the other "housewife" shows to shame. And, we would like to thank Karen Gravano, Renee Graziano, Carla Facciolo, Angela Raiola and even Drita D'Avanzo for sharing their personal lives with us for five years, on and off the show. Renee and Ang especially shared some of the most difficult life experiences anyone can ever go through and they did it to help others. Karen kept it real. She is an open book. Her story, growing up as the daughter of the most notorious underboss in New York crime family history, is compelling. Carla, what can we say, you are loyal to a fault, we've all seen it. Ang will be missed by many more than just Mob Wives fans. She touched so many hearts beyond just the show. It's hard to believe she is really gone.

Thanks too to Ramona Rizzo and Love Majewski, who have the mob ties and history and brought a lot to the show.  They were only in the show a season or two, but they were always missed by fans.

Thanks to my blog crew: Mob Mistress, Underboss, and Carmela for all the help behind the scenes. This show helped bring us all together and that will not change now that it's coming to an end.

There are too many people on Twitter to name that have become part of "our team" so forgive me if I left your name out, Thanks to: DonDig, Tweetpolice, SpeakingRoses, MobBaby, Melissa, HeyYou, Victoria, Debbie, Stacey, Queen of Bitchville, Lala, ZB, Deliajt, John Simon, TLKjustice, Margaret, Gypsy and so many more "friends of ours" who are hoping for a season 7!

Don't forget, we still have the Reunion Show to look forward to. Stay Tuned!

I will really miss this show. I really wish that Karen and Drita could have reconciled.

I'm going to miss my show and Marissa she is a Gem... Where have she been hiding I almost pissed my pants laughing at her. She was not playing with Drita we need another network to pick up our show... Ang rip my love😇😇

I thought they would give Ramona at least one season. Like they did Love. Then all the girls would have been apart of the last season.

I am so sad this was the final episode . Karen stayed real so did Renee'. I liked Carla this season I never did in past seasons . I did not like Drita from Day 1 and I still don't .
I saw a Tweet from Andrea Giovino telling Karen if she did not want Andrea to get involved she should not have brought her name into it . At the same time Andrea has brought Karen and Sammy's name up more than once on twitter before Karen ever said that on the show . But anyway Brittany just ended up looking like a psycho most of the time she needs to grow up .
Marissa meh .... lol
I am going to miss you Chiara and MM . Thank you so much for doing this blog . I am gonna be lost for awhile without your blog to read . Let's hope the reunion is a good one and that Drita gets called out on ALL her Bullshit !! R.I.P. Big Ang !! I wish the tribute last night showed Ang's family and friends more . All these VH1 stars meant nothing as far as I am concerned . Great re-cap as usual Chiara . :)

If you look at Marissas phone you can tell it's not on phone mode. The scene was result. I saw that on another blog.

I found the episode completely disgusting.....I can't believe a 40 year old women with 2 young children could talk and act like that (Drita)....totally disgusting.....Karen and Marissa acted with class.....Drita acted like a savage a complete untrained animal.....I can't imagine any network would give this gutter Rat a show....if they do shame on them...

I'm so heart broken, that my favorite show is at an end.

Drita needs a lobotomy. She is guilty of the sin, " Envy.". She is envious of Karen; she's delusional; & has some major screws loose.

Should have prefaced this by stating that I used to like Drita a lot. My dis-liking started last Season with the whole Karen, & Nat G. It was solidified by the way she talked,& treated Carla.

Back to last night's infamous "Rant, & Rave" meeting. I felt just as P.O. as both Karen, & Marissa did. Waste of time,& an outfit!

Like Brittany, Drita doesn't understand the definition of simple everyday words, like " meeting," Stupid Euro Trash!

Thought for Drita, Just because you yell louder, doesn't mean
You are right.

Burnt out on all the focus on beating someone up. WTF, that's so juvenile and it's gotten barbaric.
Seriously, got sites wanting to see a fight so bad and even when people see Drita all busted up and now charged with an assault, they're still rooting her on for a fight. Drita needs to sit her ass in jail for a good 10 days and learn to chill the fuck out. Saw a mouth like that locked up, came back from somewhere and the girl got a broken arm and a new charge on a cool ass woman we all called mama. She just had it, that big mouth had to come back in for her stuff and she was all beat the fuck up. Arm in a sling, busted up face but more important, a chill lady just trying to finish up her time... now looking at a new charge.

I do hope someone beats the fuck out of Drita and Brittany and Andrea too. They go too far for a damn show. Now talking about kids fighting too.

Karina is TOO good for that sort of BS! If they're looking for ratings and continual long term fans, show some REAL life shit. Like that modeling and art classes.. some galleries, events, parades.. that shit is cool.

All that acting like an animal is old except to another wanna-be. Blogs putting Karen down. I'm with Renee and Karen on talking shit out. I'm with fighting if I have to too but the whole season with Brittany and Drita was hard to watch. I quit paying to watch it around episode 4 or 5. Wasn't about to pay to watch the rest of the season.
Pretty sure the reunion is going to be the same thing with Drita and Brittany doing a remake of NatG and NatD's BS.

IF mob wives continues I wanna know what time Drita got for that fight everyone is rooting on all over the Internet. Even that old ass bat Andrea was giving Drita props for that and Aleeya's talking on Twitter how she's no good with words but can fist fight.. wtf.

Fucking leave that fake ass shit for the Gotti fans.

Thanks chiara even though I was team Drita to start off and eventually came over to see Karen's side when Drita kept putting her foot in it I always enjoyed reading your blogs.
I think everyone feels at a loose end now..... For so long to watch and rewatch mobwives episodes from Australia and count down till the next season....then when we couldn't get it in Australia for some time I relied on reading your blogs to find out what happened each episode..
Vh1 recently put a block on so I've had to find other ways to watch it.
I thought it was really well done how they brought it full circle by saying ..'my crime' and wrapping up each story.
I did feel the season didn't hold much substance apart from ang and this last episode was rushed....not much happened initially.
Brittney was just an annoying addition who caused trouble and was just pathetic during that sit down.
We all know Marissa end was re edited in that phone call she didn't really say you sound really mad huh.
I'd We also know that Drita asked all the security to leave and Adam the producer said if everyone agreed they would but Karen wouldn't give the green light....however nothing ever gets spoken about and that was Karen's point.
Marissa wasn't the best edition either they should have kept the originals only.
But then it is a show and had agendas and kpi's to meet....
Thanks again we still have the reunion.......and for your replies chiara..u blog well and cover everything and keep it reasonably fair.
I know you take time away from work and family to do this....xx

I only have too much negative I can say about Drita. The proof is in the filming. Monster with breasts, penis in her neck, anger issues galore , a shrink's dream. The biggest liar I have ever had the displeasure of seeing and listening to. I will miss seeing most of the others. Karen has been the go to girl for me. The most genuine up front down to Earth out of them all and of course Angela can be in that spot too. Basically I will miss watching everyone but DRITTANY. Total nightmares. Im so excited at the thought of not having to hear anymore of Dramatic Drita's lies, fake stories and watch her flip flop. She ruined a lot of the show . Sad Ang is gone. I missed Ramona. Glad Carla came back . Best of luck to all but team Drittany.

Forgot to say that Jim Jones I always like your take on things and enjoy your comments as I agree with them. I hope that Chiara and the crew keep this spot going as its a great forum and I have always enjoyed the info and blogs.

I really do appreciate all your comments on the show and the blog. There were days when we wanted to throw in the towel because the social media drama became overwhelming. But, ultimately, I felt we made a commitment to the fans to see the show through to the end and I'm glad we did. We haven't discussed it yet, but Mob Mistress and I may do something totally new and different with the blog. Stay tuned!

thanks my friend...Jim Jones...Lmfbooo that's my undercover name....again let me say great site only wish I would of found it sooner...words are more powerful then punches...black eyes and broken bones heal but truthful words sting and last forever....it was clear Drita was scared shitless of Karen words.....again let me say I hung around a ton of tough guys and girls in all kinds of gin mills in my time but i've never seen ANYONE acted in such a disgraceful way as Drita in my time....it's a dirty shame she has kids I feel awful for the example she and her husband are setting for them...

Curious.... I think I asked this before but maybe I didnt...

The whole Twitter Block.. What kind of questions do you guys ask Drita or any of the Mob Wives to end up block to where they dont wanna answer....

To Chiara and the Moderators of this Blog whos the best interviewer of the Mob Wives...

Also I wasnt a Carla fan.. Not because she was friends with Drita she was just Boring.. But when I saw her last season and then this Season she turned up the Volume..

Also Its not uncommon for former friends to have a sitdown and everyone gets to say what they want and end up being friends again.... I'm talkn bout Renee, Carla and Karen... Of Course you will Anihilate your friend with words but then like a good wine or a good Cheese you can reflect and mature and come together and put the past in the past.... Have a Stronger friendship.....
To me its like getting out of Jail and Changing your life.. So Dritas husband can come out and start a business and regain his life but the 3 girls Renee and Carla and Karen cant change themselves to become better friends...

Leah said...

So chiara I've heard that VH1 couldn't afford to keep mobwives anymore they said the girls were on hundreds of thousands dollar salaries and that is way more than other shows like love and hip hop....so in reality the reason it ended was because VH1 didn't find it worth there while to pay out that kind of money......
This could easily mean there is spin off type of there going for another season under a different network?
We know renew as something with a show in the U.K......
We know Jen, Karen and Carla are in Miami doing something like a spin off
We know Drita has hosting gigs and a possible spin off....
But hopefully we can keep out ears and eyes open and report back for any developments?

Chiara Soprano said...

Leah, I have heard that too. If we are talking expense, we have to add in the security required all season so someone doesn't get killed. It may well be all about the money or the liability of the show. Money may be the reason they give, but maybe the fear of lawsuits due to injury could be contributing to the decision. I will continue to follow new developments and help spread the word.

Chiara Soprano said...

Nick, in our case we were blocked by Drita because she didn't like the blogs we wrote about her. Carla blocked us on and off for the same reason. It's inevitable for most blogs to have favorites and "choose" sides based on what we watch just like other fans. A blog is just opinions on the show and cast. Any blog that tries to be neutral and impartial is going to be boring. We will never figure out the working Drita's mind, but I, for one, am glad the girls worked out their differences.

So sad about Ang and this show ending. Thanks for your work on this blog. I caught on a bit too late.

If it wasn't for Drita this season the only thing we'd be watching is Renee dancing, and her lackluster son. Carla's beautiful, but???? Karen would have had nothing to add to the show. I just can't watch mom teaching her kid to drive for an entire season. I also can't really get excited about her dad's paintings. I would actually have appreciated an hour long segment of unedited footage to show us what Ang went through. I found those visits to the doctor and her feelings about cancer to be so revealing. I learned so much.

You need the ying to get the yang...or meatballs to the get the gravy just right. Ciao from Chicago.

Oh man. I have so many thoughts. I have watched this show religiously from start to end and have regularly read this blog's updates and recaps/two cents over the years. The two often go hand in hand. Hard to imagine that won't be the norm for me anymore. As a blogger myself, I know how much work goes into preparing and executing a post. I tip my hat to you ladies in keeping the momentum going right to the end! All in all - I think that production found the formula that worked best for ratings - from season 1 and onwards: the Drita vs Karen dynamic. I'm convinced about this because this is the one central storyline that has continued to be climatic over the years - with the exception of Karen being off the show for a season (or two? I don't remember). Sure - every season they'd add in a couple of randoms here and there but the beef between these two always still remained even after the smoke had cleared. I think that looking back over the years - there are valid points from both angles in the situation that I agree with. In a nutshell - yes, Drita should have let Karen know that she was dating Lee. Nowadays that could have been something easily done via text message. Regarding Karen, given that she felt so strongly about the way Drita handled the situation back then - should have been enough for her to know Drita couldn't have been trusted. I'm not sure if it was because of the show getting into gear - but I felt that Karen shouldn't have bothered trying to salvage a friendship. She should have followed her gut - and accepted the obvious conclusion - which is that Drita isn't her real friend. I think pushing for some sort of friendly interaction made things worse - as its clear Drita never thought she and Karen were that good of friends and used that as a reason as to why she didn't have to fill her in on anything about Lee. Regarding this particular season - I scratch my head about a few things.

Memoirs of Anesha said...

... cont'd...

First and foremost - horrible editing. Second - this is the first season I've ever seen any castmember directly address producers in a scene. At the end of the day - Marissa never mentioned Karen's name when she approached Drita about their men exchanging words - that is an assumption Drita made and refused to own up to. What I think is noteworthy to mention - is that Staten Island is an interesting place. I do believe that many of these women are connected to eachother deeper than we imagined off camera - and something tells me that one off comments or other chit chat could have been happening in a variety of bouroughs off screen that further perpetuated drama on screen. Am I crazy I thinking that? I think everyone who is "connected" in that area - knows everyone's business and they all talk. Anyone off the show could have made the statements Karen was accused of spreading. The addition of Marissa and Brittany left me feeling the same as the additions of the two Natalie's of the prior season : unnecessary buffers or fillers for air time. The one thing I started to dislike over the years with this show is the slow decline of inclusion of actual mob wives, or women who are in some way directly connected to The Life. It seemed as though season after season - a random would come around with very vague details surrounding their connections - I felt at times it took way from the authenticity of the entire concept of the show. I think of so many other women I would have rather seen fill the spaces of Natalie squared, or Marissa and Brittany: Toni Marie Ricci, Linda Scarpa, Dionne etc. (any woman off an episode of I Married A Mobster). Seeing any of these women who already have some sort of an actual history with the original cast members could have taken the show to new heights - or could have allowed for further confirmation on some of the burning questions we've had about Drita/Karen and their fall from a friendship. It makes me think about what the show could have been. With the show over - there is plenty of opportunities for these two women to hash it out once and for all in the streets if needed. With no cameras or security around - this might be the only chance they have to address things and move on. Quite personally I think the whole thing is past discussing. Each woman will always have some inkling about the other when ish hits the fan - and thats because deep down they both know they aren't friends and never will be. I have to say - I was left wanting more in how they chose to end this show. The blurbs on where the women feel thankful for where they are and where their children are - was quite rushed. I'm curious about what life after Mob Wives for these women actually entails. I really love this show. I remember when press releases went out in the media about its creation - thinking "Wow. This is different. I'm excited to see this from a woman's perspective." I do believe the show broke barriers. And for that reason alone - all of the women should be proud. Thanks again ladies for always providing an entertaining read - and for allowing me to see all angles of a situation - even if I was rooting for one team as opposed to another. What a great run! I'm excited to see where you take your blog next.

To the person inquiring about the validity or credibility of other blogs, I can't attest to what they do or where they get their information. You may be able to figure out, based on the slant of the blog, who is behind any alleged leaks. I know that we do not ask cast members to break their confidentiality clause, nor would they if we did, for obvious reasons. I have found that people who are not on good terms with producers and/or cast members are more likely to "leak" info.

the bottom line is and will always be there is no MOB WIVES with out Karen Gravano !!!! so everyone that made money a name for themselves have Karen to thank.....

Anonymous said...

Leah, I don't believe for one second the producer agreed to call everybody off and walk away if everybody agreed. Even if he said it himself I wouldn't believe it. If the producers did that, especially after setting up the meeting, the liability would be huge. Everyone from the restaurant to the producers to the production company to VH1 to Viacom could be sued for millions if anybody got hurt, and they wouldn't have any defense. There's no way.

your exactly 100 percent correct.....No Way....it would of been criminal.....

The story that Drita asked the security to leave and Karen wouldn’t green light it is sooooooooo ridiculously lame.

It’s a fake, planted story. Production rents the space. Production does not want the liability of doing such a thing. What Drita can do if she’s 100% about it is call Karen up and ask her to meet without the cameras rolling.

I’ve been privy to some texts, LMAO. All I can say is I’ve seen the bark shut down. Again everyone is entitled to believe whatever they choose.

But somethings are just not logical or true. I think it’s cool a lot of people like Drita, no skin off my nose. But we’re not drinking the tainted Kool-Aid.

Jim that was a reference the The Farmer in the Dell lol, if you recall everyone leaves with someone and the cheese stands alone. That's what popped into my head as I was writing.

Memoirs of Anesha,

I agree. A lot of other women connected to the life would’ve been great. However, do they film well? Do their personalities translate to film? Also a lot of them may not have any interest of being part of the show. Though I got a multiple emails from ladies connected to the life wanting to be on the show. I would just forward them to Jennifer, LOL.

I’m in the middle of a big transition in my life. And Chiara has something big going on in her life. So we hope to be around. Yet life might swallow up our time and interests.

I am thinking a few shows may be interesting to watch and recap. Who knows…

We still have the Mob Wives Last Stand Reunion to watch. It looks like security is earning their paychecks.

I am one the fans started watching since day 1. I tuned in because I heard Karen Gravano was going be on the show. I have had a fascination with the Mafia, I read everything I could find on John Gotti, Sammy "the bull" Gravano and others, so I checked it out, 5 years later addicted to the show. The show has had it's up and downs, like when Karen, Ramona and Carla did not come back. I stayed loyal and knew Jen Graziano was going to make it right and she did!

I want to congratulate Renee for going through all her struggles she went through it with a camera pointing at her the whole time. Renee received alot of hate, but I felt the opposite, who has not made a mistakes in their life and it is always a struggle. Renee may have fell a few times, but she got right back up and kept fighting to evolve into the mother and woman she is today. Bravo Renee!

I Started out a Drita fan and realized she is full of shit and a fake, plus an ass kisser. When she made up with Ramona, Drita was so happy, smiling ear to ear, like she won the lottery, so fake. I don't need to type all of Drita's in-digressions, but there were many. This episode was a perfect example with the whole he said, she said about who said the men spoke, at the end of day. It ended up with Drita trying to attack Karen. This is the third time Drita has gone after Karen. I can go on about the Lee aspect of it, personally I am getting sick of it.

I don't have much to say about Brit, I think she is Drita's victim and very immature.

Marisa earned my respect by going to straight to Drita if she heard something she did not like. Unlike Drita she did not talk about breaking anybody's jaw she went straight to the source, way more than I can say for Drita. I hate to say it, but Brit got what she deserved Brit was out of control and Marisa put her in her place. Plus Marisa had no intention of fighting with Brit again.

Loved Carla's personality this season, maybe because she was not under Drita's thumb any more.

Ramona Rizzo was Karen's greatest alli, plus she had away with her words, that always put Drita in her place.

There is no lying about Karen, she put her cards on the table. Honest to a fault. Drita could never compete with Karen on an intellectual level, that is why she can't hold a conversation with Karen, because Drita is no match for Karen. Karen will always call Drita out on her bullshit and that is the last thing Drita wants.

And what can I say about Ang that everybody else has already said. Ang was so full of life and always brought fun to the show and Mob wives would not of been Mob Wives with out her. Ang will live on forever through MobWives.

Chiara is very good at what she does and she does not write something until she knows it is true, that is called integrity. Chiara has been my friend and gave me advice--MobWives 101, always protecting me by given me her advice not start a bees nest with certain things that were better left unsaid. I have really trusted her over the years and she has never steered me wrong.

We still have the reunion, so it is not quite over yet and hopefully there is a great spinoff and Chiara won't have to put her laptop away. Awaiting the part 1 & 2 reunion blog.

The Drita / Marissa phone conversation was very poorly edited. Sheesh. I am going to miss this blog!!! What am I going to do???? I am really hoping for another season. Keep the OG's. They should all go on a retreat or something, like camping or to Europe or something. Make them sign an agreement that if they raise hands at all they forfeit their Paycheck. That would make it exciting.

they raise there hands?? only one constantly looking to physically fight is Drita....I don't know but this show is very frustrating....for the life of me I.can't understand how anyone can not see what a phony Drita is....

@Southern Plaid, Euro trash? Are you seriously? Way to generalize a very diverse continent with 48+ nations. By the way, Drita was born in the US. She is probably more of an US American than European just like most Italo Americans or Irish Americans.

Sincerely, proud Afro-German.

@Anon above, Drita was born in Albania according to this source Hollywood Life http://hollywoodlife.com/celeb/drita-davanzo/#!
That is how I remember it too.
