I Married A Mobster: Season 2 Confirmed

Love Majewski and Cheryl Caruso of I Married A Mobster at fan meet & greet.
First the rumor mill has been buzzing about a season 2 for Discovery ID's I Married A Mobster.  Yesterday, I received confirmation from a Discovery ID source.  I am happy to learn I'll get a glimpse of 12 additional women's mob related stories.  I have a few suggestions for Kaufman Films.  Kevin I hope you are paying attention.  I actually know what I'm typing about:

1.  30 minutes is not enough for these women's stories.  Can we get an hour?

2.  We don't want another episode with the male perspective, unless he's a gay lover.  I tune in for the women's perspective.

3.  I don't know if you can pull it off.  However, a woman who has had an intimate relationship with a  Russian Mob or Yakuza member or associate would be a coup for your team.  Heads up, I refuse to be one of the women.

4.  An episode focusing on the lives the women are living today would be great.
Congratulations to Kaufman Films and Discovery ID for an interesting, informative and entertaining series!

Adrea Giovino handling herself on The View.
I queried a Discovery ID source in reference to which episode grabbed the most viewers.  I was told there was no specific numbers.  However, it seemed Cheryl Caruso & Andrea Giovino's episodes had the most viewers.  A huge hug and congratulations to Cheryl Caruso & Andrea Giovino.  I wish both ladies all the happiness and continued success.

I have to share I'm not surprised by this news.  Yet I'm miffed.  Though our site received a nice number of hits thanks to episode 1 and 2 of I Married A Mobster.  It is Diondrea Nicosia's episode who has had our site numbers jumping each time it airs.  If you look to the right of our site, you'll see our popular posts.  Diondrea comfortably sits @ number 9.  Mob Wives is our bread and butter around here.  To see an I Married A Mobster post crack the Mob Wives' dominance on The Mob Wives Blogspot is major.  Another major source of hits on our site is the fork stabbing Love Majewski.  When her episode airs she is always in the top posts of the day, week and/or month.  All of the women have shown our site loads of support.  I have to share Andrea sent me the most beautiful flowers.  Cheryl sent me a wonderful bottle of Talero Tequila.  If you are a tequila fan, you absolutely have to grab a bottle.  You will so not regret it.  It's smoooooooooooooth!  Love sent me a case full of Veritas Cosmetics.  I've been a MUA for over 2 decades.  Her lip liners are my absolute favorite.  They're what I've been looking for.... they glide on smooth & have staying power.  She has an eyeshadow color called Rebel.  I have well over an hundred eyeshadows.  Rebel is my absolute favorite.  Note: I have Dior, Chanel, Nars, Stila, Bobbi Brown, Lorac, Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics, etc. in my kit.

Mob Wives: We have a Real Chicago Winner

My stomach hurts from Boston Coffee Cake and laughter.  Click picture for a better view of an individual at their finest.

The title sums it up. End of story.

**UPDATE**
Click for a better view.

It seems what we believe to be Drita D'avanzo's public fan page account confirms Mob Wives Chicago is in production.  Allow us to clarify our take on the situation.  We are overjoyed that we will get to watch additional Mob Wives from a  different region of the states.  We just had a giggle at the 'I don't want to say too much' and then the sharing of the information.  We are sure if Jackie wanted to she could've been a nuclear physicist.  We poke fun around here.  It's never personal.  Jackie if you are reading, we hope you come back and read us from time to time.

The Real Housewives of New Jersey: Teresa VS. Caroline in the Season Finale!

Teresa Giudice (L) Caroline Manzo (R)
Battle over remarks Teresa made in "Fabulicious", her Italian cookbook
The 3rd season of The Real Housewives of New Jersey was has come to an end but the drama has just begun with Teresa at the center of it all. This week it’s revealed that in Teresa’s cookbook “FABULICIOUS” Teresa makes some insulting and hurtful comments about her family and fellow cast members and this time she’s gone too far.

In the introduction of her “BURN BOOK” I mean “COOK BOOK” Teresa writes “Caroline is as Italian as the Olive Garden,” adding "I am a huge fan of Caroline Manzo, even if she's only 1/16th Italian or whatever she is” poking fun at the way Caroline cooks.

Teresa also accuses her sister in law Melissa of coping everything Teresa does from the shoes she owns to the chairs on her porch. And in a reference to Kathy and Richie Wakile, Teresa says she wishes cousin would stop making lame jokes about her.

Jacqueline Laurita

When Jacqueline questions Teresa about her comments Teresa tells her that it was a joke and that “Hello? Everyone knows I’m funny like Lucille Ball”. REALLY? LUCILLE BALL? THE SAME LUCILLE BALL THAT WAS IN “I LOVE LUCY”? UMMM, No! I don’t think so.

But after a season of accusations, altercations, and confrontations NOBODY IS BUYING INTO HER ANTICS ANYMORE and the season has ended with EVERYONE against her; even her own husband it seems.

With 2 reunion shows and season 4 already recorded the drama continues with the ladies declaring war on Twitter.  The reunion looks dramatic and EXPLOSIVE! I’m looking forward to the showdown between Teresa and the rest of the cast and even if you don't watch the show this reunion is worth tuning into.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills: Let The Games Begin

Brandi Glanville at Dana's Party "Let The Games Begin"

Dana Wilkey and Brandi Glanville are the newest wives to join The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. They created quite the stir among the housewives at Adrienne Maloof's back yard barbecue last week. From the eye rolls, snobbish snickering, and shameful sneers by Kyle, Taylor, Camille and Adrienne.

Tonight Dana Wilkey hosts game night with the wives.  Things get out of control.  The drama erupts over Kim’s excessive trips to the bathroom.   It’s Brandi’s remarks about Kim being wasted and her fair share of experience with people who are on drugs which pushes Kyle over the edge.

Mob Wives: Renee, Karen & Onion News

Jim Haggerty and Tracy Gill, of the Onion News Network, sit down with Rene Graziano and Karen Gravano to discuss various topics. I was hoping their conversation would lead us to a few hints about season two. Apparently, they are discussing an asteroid hitting the earth and I am not aware of that astrological prediction. The actual interview starts at the 3 minute mark and whatever was before that wasn’t worth watching. I am going to summarize the highlights of their chat.

Renee and Karen enter the studio and Renee says “Italians kiss” so they all brush cheeks and Tracy says “Oh I feel like I’m in the club!” Renee answers, in true Renee style, “It tales a lot more than a kiss to get in the club, honey.”

First question from Jim is if the ladies have any regrets from season one. Karen says she should have killed Drita before the world comes to an end. Renee says “I should have killed my plastic surgeon, definitely he’s first on my hit list.” Renee just needs a couple of more days and she will be good with the asteroid.

Next, they are asked which of the mob wives would they least like to be stuck in a bunker with for ten years after the asteroid hits earth? Karen wants to be stuck in a room with Drita because she has some unfinished business. Lots of laughter. Renee apologizes for cursing, but the interviewers are loving every minute. Renee explains the profanities make everything sound better, for example, instead of saying that’s a great dress you say that’s a “F*cking great dress!”

The next question is directed at Karen, who had issues with Drita for sleeping with Lee and breaking the girl code. Renee adds it’s not just a girl code it’s breaking the code of loyalty. So Jim asks Karen if we painted Drita’s face up there on that asteroid, do you think you could get up there and destroy it and thereby save humanity? Karen doesn’t hesitate, she says she thinks she can do it. Karen says she doesn’t even care about her any more she is done.

Oh and since the world is ending, Jim and Tracy say we won’t be able to see season two of Mob Wives, so can they tell us what we will be missing! The ladies think a minute and Karen finally says “we took an oath.” But Renee says, she will give us a little something. “My plastic surgery didn’t turn out very well” and Renee gets up, turns around and adds, “my ass is padded.” There’s our “little insight into season two, her ass is padded…I almost died for a f*cking ass!” But she is here and in season two!

It ends with a few shared laughs and it was an all round light hearted fun interview!

The Real Housewives of New Jersey: The Punta Cana Fiasco Concludes

Bravo’s RHNJ returns us to the beach on Punta Cana where Teresa and Joe are walking away after Teresa’s confrontation with Kathy. As Teresa changes into her next gold/leopard ensemble Richie smooth things over with Joe who could really care less. Sitting back on the beach Kathy says to Jaqueline she didn't mean to say anything harmful, but she's going to leave it alone. After asking Jaq if she “OVERREACTED” Teresa returns to the group like nothing ever happened.
Nobody does “DENIAL” like Teresa!!!

The rest of the evening was surprisingly calm and even the Joes were getting along. Joe Giudice even announces to everyone that he's done being pissed off at Joe Gorga. "At the end of the day, we're family.

The next morning poor Melissa is again being molested by Joe "If you do it right, it takes three seconds!” he says in his relentless quest for more sex. "It's like always about Joe, like can I have my five minutes to wash my armpit?" a very annoyed Melissa asks the camera.

That afternoon the guys go golfing, if you can call it that. The Joes were acting like 2 juvenile delinquents with Joey Gorga pulling down his pants to moon the Manzo boys. But hey, at least they’re not killing each other right? Rich says Albert had another thing coming if he thought he could have a successful day on the course with "this bunch of clowns."

While the men golf, the women and Greg head out for an afternoon of “SHOPPING” but learn quickly it’s really so Teresa can do research for her new cookbook. Kathy still bitchy from the fight is quick to say "I personally would rather go golfing with Teresa so I could have a club" but insists, "I wouldn't hit her... I wouldn't.” But I’m not so sure about that…not after this trip! And off on their excursion they go…

***SIDEBAR: I have to interject here and no offense to the Dominicans but anyone whose ever been to Punta Cana knows why this this the most affordable island destination and it's not for quaint little shopping districts. You go for the warmth in the winter, the beaches, and great resorts. However, the Dominican is a very poor, 3rd world county and tourist are advised not to leave the resorts. If the ride from the airport doesn’t convince you than perhaps the warning from US State Department and WikiTravel will.

The Higuey Market is like some thing you would expect to see in Steven King masterpiece with cow heads, pig parts, and other various unrecognizable carcasses. There is blood dripping everywhere, and puddles running down the street. The ladies and my hero Greg are horrified, Melissa is screaming about her Gucci shoes that cost more than these people make in a month. This is not the Short Hills Mall it’s the Dominican Republic, WTF!

BUT THERE’S OUR TERESA … smiling for the camera proudly holding the dead, blood dripping offerings of the day heeding Melissa’s warnings until finally Caroline snaps "Stop making a spectacle of yourself. This isn't funny. Put it down." But when Teresa ventures into a store asking for spices from a man who clearing does not speak HER language, let alone the English language I’m convinced she is no long in touch with reality on ANY level as she asks him “Have you heard of my book Skinny Italian?” Not to mention her next remark about the day’s events "Maybe the market is not what the ladies really expected, but I think its great research, so get over it. That's why I'm a New York Times bestsellers author."

With exception to Albert, Caroline, Lauren, Jacqueline, and Christopher the rest of the cast was an embarrassment. It was insulting not only to the local people of the Dominican but as US citizens visiting their country. And, Bravo’s decision not to air footage or mention the fight that led to the arrest of Joe, Albie, Christopher, and Greg due to pending lawsuits doesn’t make this episode any more dignified. What do you think of the episode? Was I too judgmental of these crazy kids or could they behave a little better when out in public?

The Real Housewives of New Jersey: Fashion, Fighting and Fallout!

Teresa Giudice of The Real Housewives of New Jersey with one of her mini mes.
Celebrations Event and Meeting Management, a tour company independent of Bravo TV, Bravo, or The Real Housewives of New Jersey has canceled The New Jersey Housewives Tour in light of all the drama that has happened over the past 3 days. Here is their official statement:

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
September 29, 2011
RE: NJ HOUSEWIVES TOUR

Recent events in connection with the Bravo Real Housewives Series have prompted us to make the decision to discontinue the NJ Housewives Tour.

We have always been aware that the Real Housewives Series, like many reality shows, is edited for maximum viewing effect. While the show is not scripted, many of the scenarios and scenes are suggested to the cast members. And the way they play out is generally up to the cast. However, while talking with people who have taken part in the tapings of the show, it was becoming more and more apparent that Bravo in many instances chooses to provoke the drama that plays out on the show. The events that took place at this week’s taping of The Real Housewives of New Jersey appear to further prove that this is the case.

We do not want to take part in promoting a series that appears to value ratings and earnings over the importance of people, their families and their lives.

While we, like many, were fans of the show, and enjoyed seeing the places and locations that are familiar to us showcased on television, we do not enjoy watching people’s lives torn apart solely for ratings. These are real people with real lives and real families. We respect the cast and wish them well with their future endeavors.

NJ Housewives Tour

Bravo’s The Real Houseswives of New Jersey were not playing nice this week.  It may of all started at the Porsche Fashion Show. What took place between then and now is still a little unclear but this is what I get from the texts & twitter beef.

  • Teresa was met at the salon before the show by man asking questions about Melissa. Asking if Melissa was a stripper before marrying Joe Gorga.
  • During the show the same man showed up at the show as did Teresa.  He conveniently confronted Melissa on her alleged stripper past.  The man by the way is or was the manager of the club.
  • Melissa went running to the Manzo’s for protection very upset that this guy was there.
  • Caroline and Jacqueline had already cut Teresa out of their lives.  They believe Teresa is behind the guy's appearance.
  • Jacqueline was furious and the twitter war began. Jacqueline called out Teresa and blamed her for the set up. Teresa denied everything.
  • Ironically during all this a photo of Joe Giudice with another woman is released thru Radar Online.
  • Teresa sent Jacqueline text messages accusing her of leaking the photos and Jacqueline posted the texts on twitter. Apparently Teresa did not want to have this all on twitter.
  • Melissa takes to her blog and claims that she was a bartender not a stripper for a few months.
  • All this time Teresa is claiming she still had no idea this guy was showing up.  Jacqueline says “Teresa is Scum” and that she told her about this before season 3 started.
  • The drama is all too much for Jacqueline.  She's conveniently is too sick to attend the reunion show for season 3 which conveniently is being shot the day after the fashion show by Bravo. A short while later Jacqueline announces she “QUIT”
  • Teresa who doesn’t seem to have a care in the world let alone this…spent the day at the beach with her daughters according to her twitter.
It is one thing to have fighting among the wives, it’s what they do. But for independent companies making a profit to pull out is something else. It also seems a bit shady that Bravo scheduled filming for the fashion show the night before the reunion. ….Hmmmmm. Whether the producers at Bravo are pure genius or just evil trouble makers; you can’t deny this sure makes for good TV, not to mention blogging. What do you all think?

Real Housewives of New Jersey: Tango Chicago Parody by Tessa Netting

Whenever I need a good laugh I find one of Chiara’s videos and watch it. Today I am returning the favor and hope Chiara enjoys mine as much as I enjoy hers. I found this video of Tessa Netting playing each of the New Jersey Housewives. Tessa Netting, a very talented actress who’s been on Broadway and TV is a riot, and the way she plays Teresa is dead on. If you love Chicago either on Broadway or the Oscar winning movie you’ll love this.

Mob Wives: Karen, Jennifer Murder Suspect

Karen Gravano, Manuel "Manny" Pinero, Jenn Graziano

Last week Karen tweeted a picture of herself with Jennifer Graziano hanging out at Mr. Chow on September 21st.  Pictured in between them is Manuel "Manny" Pinero, who turned himself into authorities yesterday for the Monday night fatal stabbing of Christopher Adames. The incident took place outside the Juliet Supper Club, in Chelsea.  According to police, both men were having an argument about a woman when the stabbing occurred. Manny is allegedly the prime suspect in the case.  Both Karen and Jennifer made it very clear that they do not know "Manny" personally, they are not friends, they were simply asked to pose for a picture with him and tweet it.

I know, from personal experience, that the stars of Mob Wives are very accommodating to fans who want pictures taken with them.  Unfortunately, that night, they posed with the wrong person and now  have to answer questions because the picture they tweeted is being somewhat misrepresented in the media.   The price of fame...lack of privacy and the media always looking for a scandal.

Real Housewives Of New Jersey: Gia's Song

Thanks To Harley, a writer at our blog, I have learned a few things about The Real Housewives of New Jersey and the Guidice family.  The Guidice family sounds very dysfunctionsal to say the least. So when I came across this video about a song that Gia Guidice wrote and sang, I was curious to watch it.  It's heartbreaking.  Anyone who has an unstable home life where parents or relatives argue all the time, should watch this video and see what this does to an innocent child.  Let alone the fact that Gia's problems are compounded because the family situation is made public and everyone she meets and talks to at school may be well aware of her home life.

Gia is only 9 or 10 years old.  She shouldn't have to go to school worrying all the time.  She just wants them to stop fighting and love one another.  Is that too much to ask?  Teresa and her brother Joe's feud have deeply affected Gia to the point she has written this song and sings it, through flowing tears, hoping it will have an impact on them.  Since when is it the child's responsibility to teach the adults how to behave?
