Mob Wives: Meet The Ricki Lake Show

Mob Wive Karen Gravano & Ramona Rizzo appear on The Ricki Lake Show
Two of our favorite Mob Wives Karen Gravano & Ramona Rizzo appeared on The Ricki Lake Show yesterday.  I watched the episode solely to get a glimpse of these lovely ladies.  Karen Gravano shared a bit about her life growing up, thoughts on The Sopranos and bestselling Mob Daughter's message:

" matter how many times you get knocked down, no matter how many mistakes you make, you can always pick yourself up & basically start over."

I'm not a fan of the ombre hair craze.  However, I thought Miss Gravano looked beautiful, hair included.  Her BFF Ramona equally looked beautiful.  She shares her grandfather Left Guns died on Thanksgiving Day of cancer unlike the movie Donnie Brasco portrayed. Ramona also shares that she confronted Al Pacino on the movies and that the lifestyle is not glamorous.  I'm glad I made time to watch women on The Ricki Lake Show.  They remind me of why I love the show Mob Wives.  After their segments I went back to a view chores.

If you've missed it, here's a part of Karen Gravano's segment:

and here's Ramona Rizzo's:

I was so glad to catch The Ricki Lake Show.  It brought back found memories.  I remember years and years ago when The Ricki Lake Show 1st aired. Gotta love Ricki Lake!!!  Happy V-Day everyone!  Remember to love yourself....

Hi I'm a little surprised at this blog. As much of an avid fan that you are of Ramona's, you haven't released any news about her engagement. Yeah, we saw it on the episode on Sunday, but media outlets such as NY POST and RadarOnline have printed lengthy articles about her upcoming "wedding" and even posted a picture of her fiance, Joe. Are you slipping or did you just not know?

Our blog is a hobby, not a job. There is no slipping, only our interest & entertainment.

I have not blogged about it because frankly I don't know how you can plan a big wedding when the groom is in jail & looking at serious time. I get there are many people who married while incarcerated.

You are also mistaken. I am not an avid fan of any particular mob wife. I enjoy Ramona Rizzo's personality per television. Thanks for reading & commenting!

I apologize if my tone came off as being sarcastic. I thoroughly enjoy this blog, as I do the show, so I was just trying to point out something in case you weren't aware of it. In the past, you have posted pictures of Lee and Joe, (when no one knew what they looked like) so I thought you'd do the same with Ramona's "Joe". Viewers do get rather curious with the men behind these women, and I for one, have been so curious as to who this guy is. The way the show keeps them such a secret, (which I'm sure is for legal reasons) brings out the curiosity in me even more. This show is one of my guilty pleasures and I love reading all things Mob Wives!! Keep up your great blog! :)

I have grown to love all wives on Mob Wives, but as for Ramona I understand that she loves her fiancé but to get married to him while he's facing YEARS behind bars isn't fair to her. She deserves a man who's present at all times and not just over the phone or during visits. I really hope she reconsiders and realizes that she needs to love herself more than she loves this man. Side note: I love this blog keep up the great work!

Fan of MW, you are of course correct that VH1 does not want certain things to get out ahead of time because they want to create a "buzz" and curiosity for viewers to tune in. I blog stories based on my interest and what I think fans would like to read, but always try to use some discretion as some topics can be very personal and hurtful. I don't know what to make of this wedding idea.

Me either. It seems bizarre, but being that I don't know Ramona personally, I can't imagine what she's feeling or thinking. "To each his own" I guess.
You guys are great! Been following you and will continue to follow your blog!
