Mob Wives: Drita Raps With Coke Boys

Drita excited over rap opportunity!
....yep makes clear as to snow why.  Jennifer Graziano mentioned during an interview that Drita D'avanzo had the ability to rap.  She didn't state Drita had been rapping since she was walking.  In fairness to Jenni Jen she didn't know Drita back in the day.

Drita sucked in the bonus clip VH1 put up.  It's my opinion and I'm sticking to it. *winks @ the inept time managers*  During 'Taking The Rap' the Mob Wives viewer could see Drita D'avanzo has the ability to rap.  For the record, Soulja Boy raps too.  Everythings A Go should get a good amount of radio play & major club play.  The song is catchy and has a nice dance groove to it.  As I played the video to give it a watch, my granddaughter ran into the room screaming, "I like it! I like her!"

*drops head in disbelief*

Watch the video & Drita's rhymes for yourself here.

My Gbaby raps too.  God help me!  Would I run out and buy a Drita D'avanzo album?  No.  Besides if it takes as long for Drita to drop an album as long as it has to drop her Just Me Cosmetics line, I'll be in an old folks home.

My tastes in rap range from Persia, El-P, The Fugees, Jay-Z, Run DMC, Ekko, Queen Latifah, Iggy Azalea, Nas, 50 Cent, Da Brat and T.I.!  Now if you enjoy rap, you may or may not enjoy Iggy Azalea.  She's fire! Check out the Iggy Azalea I've embedded.

Back to the scene with my Gbaby and her opinion of Drita...

"You like her?"

"She's goooooood."

"Really?"

She nods her little pretty head yes & begins dancing to Everythings A Go.  Tastes aren't genetic that's for sure.  Mrs. D'avanzo seemed like a fish in water in the finished product.  She actually delivered.  A sincere congratulations to Drita D'avanzo of Mob Wives for scoring an opportunity of this magnitude.  I wish her continued success.  I don't have to like someone to wish them well.  Shout out to Wow Jules & all our readers and Twitter family!

Listened, not my fav. Wish Drita success. however, when I start a vid or song and get lost in thoughts of "when will this ever end" instead of lost in the song itself, I tend to not give it another listen let alone buy it. Like I said, wishing success with it. maybe its better left to the younger generation that seems to listen to and like just about anything.

I like the beat. I have a 15year old who downloads iTunes constantly , especially rap and hip hop. However, when I read the lyrics on google, I was like oooooo hecks no! First off, when you see the words nd not just hear a beat its different. This song makes no sense, the lyrics are pretty much mashed together to make something seem like its vibing and rhyming. Cant believe Diddy backed this :( and I can't believe Miss Drita backed the bank robbing along with these lyrics, especially trying to show the world how great of a Mom she is and all. She won't let her kids watch jersey Shore but does this video and raps to it? I do not wish ill on anyone, but at some point, give us a break already.

Good for her that her dreams of being a rapper came true, but am I gonna buy it? Hell to the no. Her part in that video was fucking ridiculous. What is she telling her kids when they're watching this video?. Hey daddy robbed the bank and mommy did so too on this video? Can't she rap about something else besides punching in the mouth? Newsflash Drita you're asa ain't young no more, you look like a 55 yr old n have a mind of a 15 yr old. You wanna go that route, sing like Melissa Gorga but I doubt you have the voice to do so.

MM just cracked me up with her two cents. I love reading this blog:)

Drake is good. When he sits down and puts thought into his lyrics they're good. He's a writer and in my opinion a good poet. Are all his songs good? Not in my opinion, but he does have talent. Something that in my opinion, Dritas is lacking. I'm glad her "dream" came true. I didn't like it though. I thought it was very sloppy. But hey, I still wish her good luck with all her positive future endeavors.

that is a pathetic project for a woman her age ...she sounds awful & ya'll know it ! lol

Vai ( above) I free with you!

If Drita continues this new career choice/dream, do you think her and Carla will remain best friends? I don't think Carla will feel its a good look for her, lol, to be 'associated" with that. If she cannot handle Karen and Ramona and Renee's moods, how is she going to hang with gangsta thug tough girl rapper? Just a thought...

Anonymous directly above me, I think the bonus clip VH1 put up was horrific. Drita sounded awful.

When I watched the finished video yesterday she didn't sound bad. She was decent, definitely not my cup of tea. I'm just one individual. I'm not a Justin Bieber nor Tom Cruise fan. Both are highly successful in the entertainment business. Who knows maybe Drita is the next great rapper.... [insert sarcasm where needed].

I think Carla is all about the way things "look." For show purposes she needs to stick with Drita LOL, who knows what they really do when the cameras aren't rolling?

True that Chiara! Its so funny to me especially with those 2 and I am not just trying to bash Carl-er or Drit-er( sorry I luv how Renee says their names!). They spend so much time and energy trying to disprove Ramona andKaren all the time but from what I have seen this season is that Carla /Drita flip flop, lie, exaggerate, stretch truths, gossip. With Ramona and Karen ( not saying they are perfect) but I see loyal, genuine, realness and fun. When it is needed they are ride or die chicks, lol! Call me crazy here but I am noticing that with Drita everything she has been preaching about changing for daughters, stopping the anger, blah blah..is she getting farther and farther away from that, or am I seeing things? I have expressed disgust about this since last week on here I am sorry I cannot help it! Its so frustrating because we can see the it right in front of our eyes happening yet so many crazy fans of hers promote it, brag about it and bully others.. I have to say I love how you and MM put your blogs up and 2 cents!! Nice to know I am not seeing things or am the crazy one, lol!!

To the Anon above, no you aren't seeing things and it's nice many of us agree, although we are called "haters" for expressing the truth...the truth everyone claims they want written. This rap song seems to bring out the very things Drita is trying to change and I use the word "trying" loosely because I have NOT seen any change. You can bet your boots if there is a sit down with Karen in the finale, that Drita is going to attack. If she doesn't they probably have her on valium.

@ chiara lol. Valium and a lil dose of zyprexa will do the trick lol.

i thought the video looked good. her rapping was a little rough in the beginning but it got smoother. good for her to go for it.
