Mob Wives: Renee Graziano Interview on Hector "Junior" Pagan's Turning

Renee Graziano w/ Hector "Junior" Pagan, summer 2011.
Our interview was originally posted the first week of December 2011 during filming of season 2 of VH1's hot reality series Mob Wives.  We took it down out of respect for production as there were concerns it revealed too much.  The interview was conducted 12/4/ 2011.

Hector "Junior" Pagan becoming an informant was revealed on tonight's episode of Mob Wives.  I thought about re-interviewing Renee Graziano before republishing this interview.  However, I believe it's an opportunity for The Mob Wives Blogspot reader to see a bit of what a mob wife goes through in the  chaos of a storm.  At the time of the interview we'd known for a little over a week that Hector "Junior" Pagan allegedly flipped on his ex father-in-law Anthony "TG" Graziano.  We've kept mum on the subject because frankly we have consideration for most we blog about.  We know real people & real situations are behind the cast members we watch every week.  So The Mob Wives Blogspot decided to sit back & blog this story on our terms.

I've spoken with Hector "Junior" Pagan a few times.  Frankly he's a likable guy on the phone.  I even fussed him out on how he treated Renee Graziano.  He said, "I'm not alone in making mistakes.  I'm just not going to tell..."  Those words are ringing in my head as I write.  I am not going to bash Mr. Pagan for flipping.  All I can think is his back must've been truly up against a wall to flip on a man who treated him like a son.  A man who knowingly welcomed an outsider into not only his family but a lifestyle.  I could think of no better person to talk to on the situation besides Renee Graziano of Mob Wives.  The ex-wife who seemed to be rekindling a relationship with Hector, the daughter of Anthony Graziano, and most importantly the mother of A.J. Pagan.

Renee, I am sorry for bothering you.  However, I have to address the recent events concerning the arrests of Junior (Hector Pagan) and your father (Anthony Graziano).  How are you coping?
I'm devastated.  A.J., my father and Junior were the three most important men in my life.  It's unexplainable.  I'm doing my best to keep it together.  I will always stand by my father and son.

Season 1 of Mob Wives we the viewers witness you give Karen (Gravano) a hard time for returning to Staten Island.  You wanted nothing to do with her because of her father 'ratting'.  We did see you two come together by the end of the season with you even trying to protect her from Drita's wrath.  With the recent developements has your opinon changed?
I now have compassion for the (Gravano) family.  My opinion of tattletaling hasn't change.  I don't have just one egg on my face.  She laughs.  I have a whole dozen.  One has to be careful of what you say and who you judge.  One day you may be living it.

What's your thoughts on Karen's situation with Sammy "The Bull" Gravano cooperating with authorities now?
I know exactly what she went through now.  I am walking in the shoes Karen walked in 20 years ago.  It's so painful and confusing.  Frustrated, shocked, mislead, my world has been turned upside down.  I am flat out f*cking numb.  It's overwhelming.  I feel lost.

On that note, what's Karen's reaction?
Karen's got wings.  I don't know if they're swan, super hero, jet or angel.  When she got word, she flew to my house.  Karen has been so supportive.  She's there for A.J. which is a miracle and blessing.  I thank God that my son has someone whose gone through this situation.  She's given me advice and let me know, 'The storm hasn't even come yet.'

Now that the allegations of Junior's flipping are out.  How are the other Mob Wives and the real world treating you?
The majority of the Mob Wives' cast and crew have been absolutely wonderful, nothing has changed.  Now outside of reality television people who care about me last week, don't care about me today.  People who were blowing up my phone last week aren't calling me today.  They aren't answering my calls either.  She laughs again.

The Graziano sisters during happy times; Renee, Jennifer & Lana.
Basically, people are showing their true colors.
Yes, they are and it's okay.  And I understand the place they're in.  I was in a place of ignorance and lack of compassion not too long ago.  Mob Mistress I don't want to focus on them or the place I was in once upon a time.  I have to share with you my mother and sisters have been ridiculously supportive.  Most don't know but I've battled depression for years.  And my family has just been amazing.  I am so very thankful for them and my true friends.

Do you have any final words before I let you go?
Yes!  The animated Renee I am use to, is back for a moment.  I appreciate all the kind words and prayers I've been receiving from the Mob Wives' viewers and complete strangers.  Their words and kindness have been a comfort to me during this dark time in my life.  It's means a lot to me.  Joshy, Donna Wetterquist- Puga, Blakdeeva and Jeanette (a former blogger here) and so many others, too many to name shared words that have truly touched me.  It means so very much to me.  I am thankful for all the kind words and encouragement.  Jeanette shared the saying, "If God leads you to it, He will lead you thru it."  Reading those words were so comforting and inspirational.

Well let's end on that positive note.  I really appreciate you giving the Mob Wives' viewers an opportunity to hear from you on this unfortunate turn of events.
Wait a minute, there's something else I need to do.  My deepest apologies go to the Gravano family for my ignorant and cold hearted behavior in regards to their situation.  I've apologized privately and wanted to publicly.  I am very sorry for my behavior.  The family didn't have anything to do with the decision of one.  I understand now.

Well Renee you know I am rooting for you and your son.  I don't know what you are going through.  I can only try to imagine.  My prayers go out to you.
Thank you!  I truly appreciate it.  I don't plan on talking about this again.  It's just too painful.

I understand.

Our interview ended.  My prayers go out to Renee Graziano, A.J. Pagan and their families.  One of the reasons Mob Wives is such a hit is the reality of the up & downs the women live out on the show.

A very poignant interview about a very sensitive issue. Sometimes writing a blog requires using compassion and restraint when people's lives and feelings are involved. You did an excellent write up of the interview MM. Renee and AJ will be in my thoughts and prayers through this difficult time.

I am trying to figure out the term blogger. The term is meant as a way to write down your thoughts and share with the world. The last time I checked this is not a news website. It is an opinion based site where we share whatever we like. Amazingly, the same news site are biased so I do not get your point. News either slants to the right or left depending on the writer. What I appreciate is that you found the interview and read it. Thanks for your opinion and reading. Have a great day.

Anonymous,

Thank you for making me laugh. First off I am a blogger. I don't pretend to be an unbiased news journalist just reporting straight facts.

It is you who are confused. It clearly states at the top of this blog that we blog our opinions.

This is MY BLOG. I write what I want to or choose to. If you do not like it, I suggest you don't visit it again.

Blah, blah, blah your name calling is lame.

Since Anon likes facts here is a quote from Merriam-Webster dictionary: "Definition of BLOG

: a Web site that contains an online personal journal with reflections, comments, and often hyperlinks provided by the writer;"

There are plenty of websites offering the "facts;" we offer our thoughts and opinions after reflection and consideration, moderated with respect and compassion when necessary.

I am reading this with tears in my eyes I know what Renee and her family is going thru. . I know what it’s like to have to be accountable for the actions of your family even though you didn’t do it, say it, or cause it.

As some of you know my family was involved with the Pagan MC, my uncle whom I lived with was a high ranking associate and was dealing / manufacturing drugs in the 80’s. My Uncle was extremely careful, we had no phone, he never left the house, and no one came in or out that wasn’t in our inner circle. Unmarked cars sat up the street, cops drove by but they couldn’t get him we were always under surveillance.

Then my cousin a stupid street kid got in some kind of trouble and the cops were able to scare him enough to flip. He didn’t wear a wire he brought an undercover in and they got what they wanted.

My home as a child was at times violent, unpredictable, and scary; we were not the Brady Brunch. But at the end of the day, we were a family and there was also love, a lot of laughter, and a bond that will never be broken. Your family is your family is your family…You love them REGARDLESS OF WHAT THEY DO OR WHAT PEOPLE THINK.

People are going to say shit because they can and Renee’s an easy target because she’s on TV. So let them have their say. The Graziano’s are STRONG, and even though I don’t know them personally I KNOW THEY WILL COME THRU THIS WITH GRACE, DIGNITY, AND LOVE. My thoughts and Prayers go out to the entire Graziano Family. Love Jeanette

Never judge someone else's journey until you have walked in their path.
God bless the Graziano family for allowing us to share and support them during this sensitive family matter. I hope all that are watching extend the common sense to respect Renee's wishes to privacy. A special mention to Karen Gravano and Ramona Rizzo for lending their strength and wisdom to Renee and AJ in their time of need.

My Prayers are with Renee and Aj.
They are strong people and will get through this, all they have 2 do is hold on 2 each other, and God.
Everything happens 4 a reason.

No matter how dark the storm gets, there is always a light hidden somewhere, u just have 2 find it,
and when u find that light, u keep focus on it and ignore everything else.
People might hate 2day, but they will be loving her 2marrow.:-)
:-)I promise.:-)

Renee, I have posted to your FB page and a tweet as well to tell you how I feel about this subject of what is going on with you. This is what I said in case you missed it on your wall.

So we didn't all know this happened until we seen the episodes and yet it happened previously a few months back. I just want to say that you are a strong woman even though you feel weak at times. And just because you scream and yell and get hysterical...don't ever let anyone make you think you are "dramatic or a drama queen" because of it. You are an emotional woman. I am the same. I've been there where loved ones have gone to prison for years. I've waited for a boyfriend for several years once. Life isn't peaches and cream. Its hell and heaven all at the same time. Its a huge f'ing roller coaster. Its life and we have to manage what cards life gave us. You will get through all of this, I promise. Because you are strong, you are intelligent, you are a woman (and we ALWAYS find a way to cope) and because you are F'ing Renee Graziano..an amazing, beautiful, talented and caring woman! Hello?!?!???? LOL You rock sweetness. You've got this. You can do anything you put your mind to. I know you don't need me (a 32 yr old) to tell you this, but I figure its nice to hear support from those who care for you. I don't know you personally, but I care. I do. And if I am ever in NY/NJ or you are ever in Chicago...I hope I get the honor to meet you and just give you a hug. Remember, to keep your chin up, smile and live life! Even though when loved ones are behind bars and it seems like you do the time as well...you are on the outside, so live your life. YOU aren't the one in jail. ♥♥

Renee...keep your chin up! What your friend/blogger said "If God leads you to it, He will lead you through it", is the truth. Much Love & Respect to you always!

Well I just wanted To say that I'm so sorry that Renee and her family are going through this I know what she is going through I've been through this just recently with someone whom i have loved for many years. I had found out after he went to jail that he set people up which I didn't know till I ran into someone I grew up with and it was her brother and then I realized that he did set up my close friend Yeah they shouldn't have been doing whatever they were doing. So I know all the feelings that she is having towards him good and bad cause she loved him for so long just as I. So i agree with what other people are saying we have to stay strong for our selves and move on.

So be strong just like I see you are and take care of you and you're son. You are both in my prayers good luck and God Bless....."AMEN"
