Mama's Boys of the Bronx: Anthony Zoccolillo Has Been a Very Very Bad Boy

Anthony Zoccolillo a Mama's Boy & bad boy.
Someone has to be the bearer of bad news around here; it might as well be me.  Since Mama's Boys of The Bronx is Carmela's lane, I gave her opportunity to blog this bit of scam news.  She politely declined.  I thought about giving it to Chiara.  But she does so very much around here as is.  I thought about passing it along to Underboss.  He is already a little perturbed with the men still living with their mothers, aunt & dad.  The sight of the mother shining her son's shoes nearly gave him a stroke.  I thought the news of one of the Mama's Boys having a criminal past would send him to the hospital.  So here I am sharing the unfortunate realization that a mama's boy conned some people out of money.

An anonymous commenter wanted us & the Mama's Boys of The Bronx viewers to know what type of individual Anthony Zoccolillo was/is in reality.  Apparently he is not only a mama's boy, he's a very very bad boy.  Mr. Zoccolillo allegedly has a record in New York due to the importation of Ecstasy.  *dropping jaw & double chin*  He also pleaded guilty in San Diego County for conspiracy and grand theft in a relation to a rental scam operation.  The operation would collect rental deposits for homes up for sale & vacant.  The problem was the homes weren't his nor was he the property manager.  So individuals thinking they would be moving into coastal properties were moving, just not where they paid to move to.  Mr. Zoccolillo may have turned over an honest leaf.  I hope so for his mother's sake.  She seems like a really nice lady who loves her son.

If you are part of the cast or family members of the Mama's Boys of The Bronx, don't hate the messenger.  Carmela wanted no part of this post.  So don't begrudge her.  He did what he did.  It is what it is.  We'll be tuning into TLC on Monday nights to watch Mama's Boys of The Bronx.  Why did the scene in the flower shop tickle me to no end?  I thought it was just the sweetest thing.  And I'm an evil bitch.

Thank you anonymous whoever you are for bringing the truth to light. Readers can click here to read for themselves.

Update:  Anthony Zoccolillo tweeted our blogger Carmela thanking her for declining to write this post.  I have to share I thought it was a kind move on his part.  I wish all the mamas & boys the very best as long as they're doing the right thing!

Damn you sure didn't waste anytime blogging on the negative!!! What about talking to or about each individual Mamas Boys, you know about what they do, personal (to an extent) something POSITIVE maybe. I guess the old saying is very true.... A goose quill is more dangerous than a lion's claw.

I hope you're not that miserable of a person to gain readers upon others misfortune!!!

We have readers. Most don't come here to read about Mama's Boys of The Bronx. We have well over a million page views before the TLC show aired. Please use the mind God gave you.

It was in good taste to scam people out of money?! Anthony Zoccolillo crimes are public record. He decided to go on a televised show.

Yes, I have to agree that if you scam people out of money then you should rot in hell. I hope that Anthony has turned over a new leaf. I am still going to watch the show. They are likeable guys.

Wow, I wonder if TLC knew about this. A lot of reality shows don't seem to vet their casts too carefully and get burned by bad publicity.

People shouldn't kill the messenger for delivering bad news. Fans of a show and readers of a blog want to know the good, the bad and the ugly. If people make a conscious decision to break the law and then a decision go on a television show, they can and should expect what happened in their past to come out. The fault doesn't lie with the blog, it lies with the person who committed the crimes. You can't run away from your past.

So upon your posts on ANY of the mob wives, I have NOT seen anything written about the producer of the show. The one everyone calls the "brains" of the show, and how she was arrested for being a Marijuana deliverer!

I believe it was while she was in college or just before. It does look like you're one sided as far as not posting on her. BUT you tattled as if you were scammed yourself by Anthony.

The negativity screams out in this post, indeed!

To the Anonymous above, there is indeed a post Jennifer's past, just because you couldn't find it doesn't mean it's not there. So I guess that would make you WRONG! Are you satisfied now? Thanks and have a nice day!

Oh PLEASE! The post was not done in poor taste! The man did the crimes and he did choose to be on national television! Its public record. It was bound to come out sooner or later! Like Mob Mistress said, the information was brought to HER! She didn't go fishing for it. I don't think the bloggers are required to do background checks on everyone they blog about. If something is brought to their attention that may be of interest then they share it. Good, bad, or ugly...everyone has a different opinion of what that is. She even said herself she didn't personally want to write it, but she's a blogger. Its interesting information that she has every right to share on HER blog. We don't have to agree.

And as for the comparison to MOB WIVES and Jenn Graziano's criminal history...does that really come as a big surprise that someone tied to the mob has a criminal history? Most people wouldn't bat an eye at that information. I sure didn't! Everyone on the show has a criminal history! Its not breaking news so why would Mob Mistress report it?

I don't think its considered negative when reporting the facts. That's just my opinion.

Thanks
Nichole

Ok so I apparently did not go far enough of the many posts. But I can almost hear the smart, sarcastic tone in your response, that would make anyone figure out you are just a mean old soul!!

Oh and I did have a very nice day, thank you!

My tone was in direct response to the very tone you yourself set, which was sarcastic. Why not check your attitude before commenting, because I respond in kind.

Update:

It looks like this sorry show was canceled. It also looks like Anthony was convicted of scamming people out of money getting rental deposits from them for properties he didn't own back in 2007. He served 2 years for that. And then TLC puts him on a freaking reality show? This show was a stomach turning disgrace to all Italian Americans and I'm sure TLC got an earful about it, hence the cancellation. Too bad Arthur Avenue won't get the publicity it deserves.

Don't forget prior to the rental scam he was convicted of smuggling extacy through Newark airport.....
