I Married A Mobster: Dion Nicosia “Ebony and Ivory”

Dion Nicosia was interviewed on the Joy Behar show, but until now, she has not been on Investigation Discovery’s website. According to their summary, being married to a mobster was expected to be especially difficult for Dion, as an African American woman.

She had no previous knowledge of the mob so when she gets involved with Angelo Nicosia she enters a new world. Her perspective, as an outsider not being raised in the lifestyle, should be very interesting.

There was a lot of money while Angelo worked for the mob and she enjoyed the lifestyle, but when Angelo went to prison, there was no money left. The lawyers ended up with most of it. Surprisingly, Dion says that she did not experience racism from the other mobsters. They all treated her well. Dion said that Angelo was arrested on extortion charges and will be released from prison in March 2012.

There will be more information on Dion and Angelo as we get closer to her episode. In the meantime, this Wednesday’s episode, “Daddy’s Girl” will focus on the life of Linda Scarpa, daughter of Greg Scarpa. We have many blogs up on the site on the Scarpa family, so just do a search in the box on the bottom right hand side of our blog for more information.

Sorry, it's the only one I saw there. I would think they would send you all to have head shots if they are going to use them online. If you get them to put up a better picture, let us know and we will replace it asap.

as a matter of fact, if you have one of yourself that you can email to Mob Mistress we can replace it with one of yours.

I'm very interested to see this story.

Hi Everyone. I think this will be an interesting episode also as I didn't know italians married blacks in the mob! It always appeared on tv/movies that italian mobsters dated italian woman. I will probably watch my first episode of I Married A Mobster to see it!!

Mob Mistress said...

Lee married Drita and she isn't Italian. And I know plenty of Italians & Italian Americans who have married blacks.

So it isn't far fetched for me to accept that a mob associate married a black individual.

Most of all good luck to you and SN: That pic of you is great nothing wrong with it at all.

Dion, I'll be praying for you, your husband, and daughter. What an amazing story. I never would have imagined a beautiful love story such as yours. You and your husband make a lovely couple, and I hope you are still together through all the dark moments.

I loved this show. This should be a true love movie. I really enjoy this. I want to see what will happen when the husband gets out of prison. My favorite.

Thank you all for the support & well wishes, I really appreciate it! To answer some of your questions, yes Angelo & I are still together, he's going to be a free man this winter & we can't wait...its been a loooong 3+ yrs! He has become a Christian since his incarceration (thank God). He grew up Catholic but never really had any faith or interest in the bible or God...it used to scare & worry me but he believes that God wanted to get his attention so he put him in prison. I used to visit him while he was in NY but since he's been in Ohio I haven't. I thank you all again for your well wishes & prayers, it means a lot & we'll take all the help we can get! God Bless & good night! ;-)

Dion is a beautiful person the only thing that was a strike against her was that she was talking to a married man

Dion,
The two of you are a beautiful couple. I watched your story, and thought it was the best one yet.
Some of the other wives seems to me to be somewhat tacky.

May God be with you and your lovely family.

Your picture is beautiful & I can relate to your childhood, it sounds very similar to mine. Sadly my story has more gory details which I won't share on a public forum. Hold your head high & please remember what I'm going to say here to you. Always, always be self sufficient. Educate yourself whether it be through a degree or some type of technical skill or on the job training. Never ever get blindsided by flash. Think of your life as sand in the bottle because you will blink & be 40 & time keeps moving. I was told many years ago by my stepdad these very simple words. He said "there's no gold in the streets." I was very attracted to the same type of men & not too many of them are still around. Well I've said more than enough & my words are words of wisdom. God bless!

Anonymous said...

Dion,
Is there a BAD picture of you? You always look beautiful and your story is not only entertaining, but compelling. God bless both of you in the coming days -- more challenges lie ahead, but together you will make it. Thanks for sharing the story of you and Angelo's life.

You two have fought for the love you two have for each .so minor set back should be look at as a act from god to get your lives directed on the right path . It's a beautiful love story . Let's just hope and pray that Angelo takes this second chance in live as a gift and not for granted . Good luck to both of you and keep that child in mind with every disision you make .

Can't get enough of the "Ebony & Ivory" story. They should build an entire show around the Nicosia family. I am an Investigation Discovery junkie, but never viewed "I Married a Mobster-until this story. Forget the narrator (no offense) but Dion says it all with her comments; hand gestures; & facial cues. Please, please, please, do more on this couple. In either case, I wish them all the best in the future.

If the truth is told, Africans & Italians have always had an attraction to each other, going back to ancient times.
Mrs. Nicosia is a rather attractive woman. I really don't think that any man, black or white could not notice that.The Heart wants what it wants, good luck guys;-}

All of the post on here and the people who post them as obviously as nieve and blind as angelo was when he walk right into dions trap from day one. Nothing but a money hungrey coward who doesnt care about anything but herself. I can't believe people think this is a love story. I feel bad for the entire nicosia family for having to deal with her revolting behavior

what an amazing story. sometimes good wins over evil after all!

Angelo wasn't a lamb. Dion wasn't a wolf. They were both grown.

Angelo took the vows to his first wife, not Dion.

I love it how an individual points out how naive others are... yet they leave out the man's wrongdoing.

Tara said...

Hi Dee. As you can see the majority of the people here were really touched and amazed by your story. You're my hero :) I was a little sketched out at first because you chose to have a relationship with a married man. But really, who has any room to judge? Jesus said let him who is without sin cast the first stone. We have all done things we regret but God makes everything work out in the end for those who trust and turn to Him. It sounds like that is what you and Angelo have done. What a beautiful story! I was inspired by your romantic story, the fact that he defied tradition in order to love and marry you, the beautiful daughter you had and the loyalty you both have shown to one another. I watched your episode with my fiance and we both threw our hands up and cheered when the narrator said that you were working hard to maintain a good life for yourself and your daughter until Angelo could come home. What a true class act and admirable show of strength.

Lots of people will say mean things about you just wanting the money but if that were the case you would have found someone rich as soon as Angelo was sentenced. You are a beautiful woman and would have had no problem finding someone else - maybe even another mobster. But you truly loved your husband and did what it took to hold things together. And if anybody really listened to the interview they would hear you say things like you learned to cook the meals Angelo enjoyed and entertained his friends when they came over. No woman will put up such a show without truly being in love.

I know I've gone on long enough but your story was thrilling, inspiring and old-fashioned Romeo and Juliet exciting. You should talk to someone about a reality show at some point. the money could help the three of you rebuild your lives and everyone would stay tuned! If you ever need to talk feel free to reach out. if you need school clothes. toys or supplies for your little girl let me know. My fiance and I are not wealthy but we are extremely comfortable and you deserve good things to come your way. When Angelo comes home just say the word and a welcome home dinner party is on us :) May God bless and keep you as He has truly kept and blessed me. Hope to hear amazing things!

So sad the lies people use to get noticed in todays world. D forgot to mention that not only was angelo married he also had two children from that marrige. That poor family was ripped out from underneath them because of her. Its amazing how people actually believe this women and anything that comes out of her mouth. She's obviously a golddigger she even said it herself as soon as he got locked up I was pissed because that ment the fun was over and I had to get a job .. Yea that's true love people! ... Not !

TWO PEOPLE IN THE MARRIAGE OUR RESPONSIBLE FOR THE SUCCESS OR FAILURE OF THEIR MARRIAGE.

The outside players did not take the vows. Angelo should've been thinking about his wife and two kids.

I didn't care for the story. It is typical for anyone in the mob to have an affair, that's just how it has always been. My opinion is I RESPECT the mob because they are organized. You don't see them with their runners doing drive by's killing innocent people, like these flunky gansta wannabes who watched Scarface one too many times, or selling dope to their GRANDMOTHERS or 12 year old kids. I would also like to point out we wouldn't have UNIONS if it weren't for the mob protecting workers that bust their asses for shit pay.... Geneva....

As an educated black man in america this really turned my stomach. I mean its currently 2:49 AM in chicago,IL. and I am watchig the episode and I had to post on it. The first thing I wanna know is why ain't known of yall keeping it real. All of theese same men in this danm bar would cut a black man's ball's off if he even looked at their daughter or sister, but its ok for them to lust off a black woman. If you noticed she admitted she was the only black person in the bar working, u think that was a coencidence. hell no!!! I am not a racist I am a realist. I have no problem with interracial dating, but keep it real in this case this woman clearly liked white men and money. All I am saying is be woman enough to admit it. It always irritated me when people gotta make it seem like it was an accident that they feel for a person outside of their race, as if they still gotta keep some kool points from their own race, WTF. My last point I wanted to make was this dude was a "DANM CRIMINAL". What the hell is cute and romantic about this? Hell I can see if he was Doctor,Lawyer, etc., but he is a DANM CRIMINAL. Please air the the marriage of Pookie from the projects marrying the daughter of a mob boss, Exactly it aint gone happen!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Anonymous said...

That is so true! But you know what they say, KARMA is a biotch! Usually when you get hooked up with someone else's husband or wife they'll either do the same thing to you with someone else down the line or you'll do the same thing to them. Either way, most of the women who get involved with these guys ending having a very hard time, just like the commentator says. I always told my friends & family who are "street" guys that the mob doesn't offer a pension or retirement plan!!

Mob Mistress said...

Kellz,

Let's keep it real, if I date or marry an individual outside of my race; it has nothing to do with my having a preference for their race.

I've dated based on an attraction, interest and/or like of an individual. His ethnicity wasn't in the equation for me.

And some of the women with these families have dated outside of their ethnicity and race.

Diondrea Nicosia said...

WOW! Lots of comments & opinions...and I welcome them all & thank you all for tuning in & takng the time to show interest in some of my life!To address some of the points mentioned, I'm not a liar or a gold digger; I've never had to be a "gold digger" because I didn't grow up poor, I never had to go without, I was born into a nice, comfortable life & my family always made sure that I had what I needed and then some; they made sure that I got a good education & learned skills that would surly help me continue living a nice life. And when I speak, I speak the truth, I have no need to lie...I'm an adult. I'm also quite capable of making my own money & I've never had to use someone for theirs, as I am quite skilled & have experience in various different industries... although as I said, it was very nice & refreshing having a man love me enough to want to give me everything he could & make my life easier & happier. I did/do feel bad that I was in a relationship w/a married man (I'd never want my daughter to travel down that road)but I always say, "ya can't help who ya fall in love with" and "what is meant to be will be". I certainly never went to work back when I was bartending seeking a lover or a husband...much less a married one...much less an Italian one...much less 1 with kids...who the hell in their right mind would want/look for that headache! I see it as fate, Angelo is the man I was meant to fall in love with, marry & create a family with...obviously...and vice versa. If Angelo & his ex-wife were meant to be together until "death due them part" they would be but sadly that marriage was miserable & had failed long before Angelo met me. Fortunately falling out of love w/your spouse doesn't mean you fall out of love w/your children & Angelo has always been a part of his childrens lives & has always supported them in any & every way he could...and he always will...and I never have & never will get in the way of that. At the end of the day, we're happy, we love each other, we love our family & we do our best to "do right" by everyone & we wish nothing but the best for everyone. Only God can judge & we shall be judged by & answer to Him.

patricianyc said...

Well best of luck to you & your family.

It could have been worse Mrs. Nicosia be thankful it was for such a short time and you and your daughter will soon have your hubby back. Good luck and remember Live Laugh Love people! You are a beautiful, intelligent and truly lovely young woman who is truly in a loving relationship with a man who adores her. I am happy that Angelo has found his purpose while in prison, and I pray that when you are finally reunited, it is as if no time has passed. God Bless you and your family. I hope that you will continue to keep us posted on how you all are doing.

Hi, Patricia: Did you mean to say this -- "...if I only knew then what I know now," instead of, "...if I only knew now what I knew then!!"?

Marie10001949 said...

My first concern is for the child not the love story. How is the little girl doing?

Diondrea Nicosia said...

Thanks again to all the supporters for your kind words...it means a lot! For the person who asked, my daughter is doing fine; she misses her Dad a great deal but over all she's a very happy go lucky, singing, dancing, joking, laughing, smart, quick, witty, talkative lil girl! She speaks to her father daily & I devote all of my time to her...and we have a great neighborhood of wondrful friends that we're very close to & family...she's good. I also keep her busy w/Girl Scouts, Karate & other activaties & she's got many friends that she gets to hang out with on a regular. We're all just looking forward to & preparing for Angelo's release this winter...that's going to be a BEAUTIFUL day!

Diondrea Nicosia said...

I also wanted to say that although my husband was a "mob associate" he didn't rob & steal from anyone...ever! My husband was a contractor who went to work everyday to run his jobs. He is in prison now because his company did a job & come pay day the GC of that job though he was bigger & badder than my husband & basically told my husband, "screw you, I'm not going to pay you what I owe you, do you know who I am?"...and my husband said, "no screw you, you will pay me & you must not know who I am". I just turns out that the FBI had some dirt on the GC but they really wanted to get at some of the higher ups in my husbands crew so they went to the GC & told him that either he cooperate w/them to take down my husbands crew or they'd come after him for his dirt...needless to say the GC cooperated. So that's whay my husband's in prison...for demanding to be paid for work his company did...that's what the FBI calls extortion! Not for nothin but if anyone does work they should be paid for it...period...and demanding to be paid for services rendered isn't extortion...except if you are an Italian & hang out w/a certain crew...which is BULLSHIT! But oh well...thats our good old American justice system!

Anonymous said...

Ebony and Ivory here. The same case as yours. But his ex hates both me and him too much. Some people said she was killing herself with bitterness. I don't like that.

Anonymous said...

dion, if thats the case why didnt you say that in the show? instead of saying NEGATIVE things about your husband like how he was a "hitman" with "guns and wepons in his work van".. kind of suspisions that you would say all that if what your saying now which seems a lot less harmless then what you clamed during the episode .. and since you say you devote all your time to your daughter was she present when you were at the mobwives primere party possing for pictures with karen gravano throwing up the middle finger ?

Patricia said...

I've met & chatted a bit w/Jennifer (Mobwives Creator) & Karen @ Love's party & they were both cool & funny but I told'm that I wasn't sure if could hang w/that crew...those Staten Islanders get crazy & I'm just a nice quiet girl from NJ...LOLOL! patricianyc said...

It sounds like it's getting heated here :) Listen my name is Patricia Cubas-Perry. What I have to say will not be hidden. Your story was moving & I can relate. But you see I was married to the criminal element & as far as that goes, you can't candy coat where the cash flow comes from when you're rolling in it.

Like I said in another post - they ain't altar boys. We all know it's a DRAMATIZATION - I also know that life so when other people don't agree with you or your views just take it like a grain of salt.

Whatever happened as far as your now "husband" stepping out to be with you - well, you see that happened to me too. What he did to me he also did to his 2nd wife. It may never happen in your marriage & it may? Time will tell.

I have friends whose husbands have gone away & they've hooked up with another female that they were in communication with once they were on the streets? It's all a roll of the dice.

For me, I'd rather take a regular straight guy who I know will not be risking the "possibility" of "catching a case." Stormville & Elmira are long rides from what I call a normal life.

Stay blessed Mama :)

I tried watching MTTM, but quite frankly some seem a bit ditzy. Clearly not Dion. I watched her show probably 4 times and every time her sense of humour cracked me up. I love how she quantifies her statements, at the end, with what is on her mind at that second. I know I do that and it is a trait that I sometimes wish I could let go. Anywho... I sure wish she, and her family, was offered a reality show, because that is one reality show you can bet I will watch. Dion is so down to earth. Best wishes for her family. BTW, ya'll are right, WTH (?) put up a photo of her that really resembles who she is when she walks out the door. Not sure who put up the photo, but .. uh...how about giving that another shot? It would be fine if it was in a cluster of other photos of her, but it is obviously not...just that lil' ol' lone photo...try again. End of "photo" rant.

Don't listen to anything negative anyone has to say about you. They are just jealous. If someone was buying her jewels, a new car, house etc. like she would object. Noone would. As the saying goes your heart can control your mind but your mind can't control your heart. Your right, if he was happily married then he wouldnt have been with you. For him to marry you just shows his true love for you and no it wasnt just you being his mistress. Your beautiful and loved your story. Hope when he gets out of prison things work our for your family. Best wishes for you and your daughter. Almost time for him to oome home!! Wishing you the best!

I truly hope that truly isn't the first wife. Though I would imagine the situation with your husband was devastating, at the end of the day, if not family or friend the other woman owed you jack shit. Angelo (the one who took the vows with you) is the one who'd owed you.

You read BITTER.

Moving on...Lisa, I disagree with one part of your comment.

"If someone was buying her jewels, a new car, house etc. like she would object. Noone would."

I have objected. I do not believe I am alone in that ability.

Not sure if my 1st comment regarding this went through, if so sorry for the repeat but I had to comment on this one. Mob Mistress I agree, I hope "The First Mrs. Angelo Nicosia" really isn't the 1 typing such foolishness & although I don't put much past her, I'd like to hope she wouldn't make herself look THIS bitter & stupid! Besides, being that she's actually like 2 of me on a good day, I can't see her talking about anyones weight, much less mine. Whoever made the comment is obviously very bitter & if its who I think it may be then you need to go back to therapy & get some more help & maybe stop drinking & posting. And for the record, my husband's seen me & seen the episode & he still thinks I'm the most beautiful woman in the world, so I don't think he'll be dumping me & IF he were to then we weren't meant to last, its that simple, what is meant to be will be. But real talk, I've never had any problems keeping a man, although I have had a hard time getting rid of a few...LOL!

Lastly, my husband didn't dump his 1st wife & their 2 kids; he was miserable (as was she), he found happiness & he left her...not his kids...and he left her quite comfortable...and from what she SAYS, she's happier without him.

So whoever you are, get some therapy, let go of the hate, jealousy & bitterness...be good, do good & God will bless you w/a happy & good life. Life is short, so you shouldn't waste your precious time sitting on the internet posting negative comments & stories about me & MY family...or anyone for that matter. Peace...and again, to all those who've been wishing my family & I well & being supportive, thank you! Happy Holidays everyone! ;-)

I saw the show and I loved it. Keep your head up chick. I see people are saying f***** up things bout you. Don't judge a book by it's cover, open it up and read it first. In other words forget the weight, hair, nails, and clothes because it is the heart that matters. I've had some of the sexiest men on earth Dion, but their soul wasn't right so therefore I didn't give a damn bout how they looked. They were demons in the flesh. You appear to be a good girl. I'm from the Deep South and generally people down here could give a damn, you feel me, about material things. It's all about your soul and where your eternal resting place is. Work on your soul Dion, raise your child, and be the best wife that you can be.

This was a great episode. I was hooked from the beginning of the episode until the end. But it amazes me that no matter what I read on the internet, if they open it up to comments, it is full of no-lifes who just have to bash whoever the story is about. It could be Mother Theresa or the Pope in the article and these sad sacks would have to amuse themselves by going all negative. If we could only see their sad pathetic little lives....now that would be enlightening. I wish Angelo, Dion and their daughter nothing but the best. I do hope that a follow-up story or series of shows is going to keep us informed of how they are doing.

I have seen this shows few times, I am deaf myself , of course I have closed caption, yes you re correct, someone from your work heard your husband was a hitman, that sounds a rumor to me. To some of people who overlooked should pay attention or listen carefully.

I think you wonderful person and I admire your personality because it speaks from your body language and very honest! Your daughter Gia, soo beautiful. I am mother of three daughters , age from 9 to 15, enjoy your daughter every moment and continue relationship with her father daily as much as she can.

I guess that is all I need to say.

p.s, your husband is actually is mobster assoicates and they charge him exortion that make sense , sine hes only assoication. Funny, people don't listen, they only want what they hear. Sigh. My recommend to all people to use closed caption or subtiles in case if you did not hear, closed caption as a back up.
God bless you and your family:)

Tracy thank you for watching & for your kind words & common sense; some people are just stupid, don't pay close attention & talk crap when they have no idea what they're talking about. And I like your idea about "closed caption"...maybe people should use it as a backup...LOL! Take Care love!

Dion, you're a beautiful woman. The hubby should be coming home soon...maybe planning a welcome home party would be nice. Oh and don't forget to fast and pray to seek God's favor and direction for your marriage and this new year.

God bless you

Dee: Don't get all sensitive because of what someone says. You opened your life up to scrutiny when you appeared on National TV. Your husband will be home soon and I understand he has accepted Christ. You will be no assistance to him with the attitude that you portray on this blog - especially at your age. I agree that you should fast and pray to seek God's favor and direction. Grace and Peace to you!

THE ATTITUDE THAT I PORTRAY ON THIS BLOG...HUGH...KIA? LOL...OKIE DOKIE. THANKS FOR WATCHING, READING, WELL WISHES & TAKING THE TIME TO COMMENT & GIVE YOUR ADVICE.

I'm not looking to be provocative here, but Dion seems to want it both ways. On the one hand, she agrees to participate on a show that presents her as a mob moll, and clearly enjoys being seen as someone in some sense 'connected' to the mob. But at the same time, she makes the ridiculous claim that her hubby is only in jail because he's Italian and only bigots would think he's a mobster (though she acknowledges, with pride, that he is a 'mob associate').

Give me a break; you can't go for your 15 minutes of fame on a show called "I Married a Mobster" and at the same time say your husband is an innocent victim of anti-Italian prejudice unfairly presumed to be 'connected'. You want to complain about a stereotype at the same time you are promulgating it and feeding into it. You can't have it both ways.

I also find it interesting that this 'godly woman' who is so concerned with her husband's religious convictions nevertheless boasts about hanging with the 'Mob Wives'. It seems to me if you yourself really believed in God like you think you do or say you do, you'd be ashamed to associate enthusiastically with people whose only claim to fame is being the ex-wives of daughters or granddaughters of killers and to seek your 15 minutes of fame by promoting yourself as "Married to the Mob". The only reason Karen and the gang are on TV is because their fathers killed people. Anyway you slice it, that's blood money and it's an ugly spectacle.

Sorry, you can't have it both ways.

Diondrea Nicosia said...

IF ITS SUCH AN "UGLY SPECTACLE" WHY ON EARTH DO YOU TUNE IN TO MOBWIVES & I MARRIED A MOBSTER & WHY DO YOU READ THIS BLOG? WHY SUPPORT THIS "BLOOD MONEY" MAKING? IF I DON'T LIKE OR AGREE W/SOMETHING I'M CERTAINLY NOT GOING TO SUPPORT IT AT ALL.

WHEN HAVE I "BOASTED" ABOUT HANGING WITH MOBWIVES...FURTHERMORE, WHEN DO I HANG WITH MOBWIVES? THE LAST TIME I HUNG OUT W/A MOB WIFE WAS BEFORE MY HUSBAND WAS INDICTED...YEARS AGO. I ATTENDED AN EVENT BACK IN SEPTEMBER WHERE I TOOK A PICTURE W/A MOBWIVES CAST MEMBER & AND A COUPLE OF MY IMAM CAST MEMBERS.

FAME IS CERTAINLY NOT WHAT I SEEK, ITS NOT AT ALL IMPORTANT TO ME...IN FACT I THINK FAME IS PROBABLY A BIG PAIN IN THE ASS. I DO SEEK TO TURN MY NEGATIVE SITUATION INTO A POSITIVE 1 BY MAKING MONEY FOR MY FAMILY & OPENING OTHER DOORS TO MORE OPPORTUNITIES FOR MY FAMILY & I...AND WHO KNOWS, MAYBE ALONG THE WAY HELP OTHER WOMEN LEARN FROM MISTAKES I'VE MADE IN MY PAST.

WAS MY HUSBAND CONNECTED TO THE MOB, YES. DO I FEEL HE'S IN PRISON FOR SOME BS, YES. A FELLOW BUSINESS MAN OWED HIS COMPANY MONEY & DIDN'T WANT TO PAY; THERE WAS A MEETING, THE BUSINESS MAN DECIDED PAYING WHAT HE OWED WAS THE RIGHT THING TO DO SO HE DID IT & BECAUSE OF THE COMPANY MY HUSBAND KEPT, THE FBI CALLED THAT EXTORTION.

DO I HAVE GREAT RESPECT FOR WOMEN LIKE MYSELF WHO HAVE GONE THROUGH SUCH TRIALS & TRIBULATIONS & ARE SMART ENOUGH TO TAKE THOSE NEGATIVE SITUATIONS & TURN THEM INTO POSITIVE ONES, PROVIDING THEM & THEIR FAMILIES WITH LEGAL INCOME...YES, I MOST CERTAINLY DO.

EVERYONE HAS A RIGHT TO THEIR OPINION, I RESPECT THAT BUT IF YOU'RE NOT A FAN THEN DON'T ACT LIKE A FAN...DON'T TUNE IN & DON'T GO OUT OF YOUR WAY TO FIND, READ & COMMENT ON BLOGS SUCH AS THIS ONE.

AND SINCE I AM A "GODLY WOMAN"...MAY GOD BLESS YOU BOOBOO ;-)

Wow.

To quote Willy Shakespeare, "methinks ye doth protest too much".

Also, a word to the wise Dion; don't post in CAPS. No matter what one types, if it's in CAPS it comes across as the words of a foaming at the mouth loon.

Remember, Jesus is watching you!

Hello Dion, I just watched the show, and I think it was the best episode ever. You are a beautiful woman and your honesty and sincerity is very touching. You know what they say, "what comes from the heart reaches the heart". I was like WOW what a love story. I am sending positive vibes your way. Stand by your man and stay strong. I truly believe that God has a plan for the both of you. You must believe with all of your heart that something good will be the result of your experiences. May the universe continue to surround you with positive support. Diane Randles

So where's the update to this interesting story?

Has he been released yet or are there still some legal hurdles?

I actually would like to see this couple make it.

Chiara Soprano said...

Tiffany, there is no update, as far as we know, Dion's husband, Angela, is still in prison. We will do a blog when he is released and let readers know.

Last update I saw, he was being held at immigration facing deportation. Don't know how true that is.

Dear Dion,

Yesterday i saw the episode of "Ebony & Ivory". I really loved it, and had this good feeling after i watched it. I was glad, that a beautiful black woman like you were accepted in this italian family, or just the fact that this man truly loved you. I don't know if my english is correct, sorry if not. But Dion, i wish you the very best and im proud of you!

Much love and kisses from The Netherlands xxx INAH

Has everyone forgotten that there are 2 sides to every story? This story is not cute nor is it a love story. I have compassion for the 1st wife and children. Have they given any interviews or do they prefer to keep the details of their private lives private?

Mob Mistress said...

No, we are commenting on the show we watch. It seems Angelo did fall in love with Dion. It may not be a sanitized love story with others being hurt. It's a love story none the less.

Angelo is the one who took the vows. He is the one responsible for stepping out on his marriage. Dion was neither relative nor friend of the wife.

We don't knowingly interact with the 1st wife & children. We wish them health & happiness.

I like this picture. It shows concern, feelings, thought and love in your posture.

Will there be an update to Dion and Angelo's story posted anytime soon. I have seen this episode 3 times, and each time, I have tremendously enjoyed it. This is a love story, and I agree with Dion, there are times, you just can help with whom you fall in love with. Best of luck to this family, but please consider posting an update

Love your story. You were young, got caught up with some sh#t but more importantly, you learned and grew from it. Now you have a family you are fighting to keep together. God bless, can't wait to hear more of your story,

Wishing you and your family the very best. It is wise to ignore negative comments. Emotional responses give naysayers confirmation that they have pushed your buttons. Naysayers hate being ignored. Pray, meditate, peace your mind, body, and soul, and IGNORE naysayers. Do not honor them with a response. I wish you much peace.

"She can't be on mob wives, her husband is not in a family anymore, some people talk and know nothing about how family business is ran,no true family business should be on TV."

What family is Drita's husband in? What family is Carla's husband?

I am just curious how your logic works?

Anonymous said...

You asked: What family is Drita's husband in and what family is Carla's husband in?
SEE VH1 BIO of MOB WIVES: VH1 said that "Drita married into the mob." Again, See VH1's bios of the Mob Wives. VH1 said that Carla is from NY and from early in her life, ran with the likes of Renee and families in the life etc. Read VH1's bio of Mob Wives. They seem to want people on the show who are connected with each other in some way which is understandable.

Dion your episode on I married a mobster was the best one. I have watched it several times and love it! I'm curious to know how things are going for you. You really should do a reality tv show. God bless you! I'm inspired by your courage
